  1. Michael listen to Allan, getting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Well, everyone who works for this division is specifically picked out. I was studying to be a detective of my own when I was picked out because of the fact I was a Vampire, and my skills would prove useful. You came in through multiple recommendations, so there must be something amazing of you, you just haven't figured it out yet!" Michael offered, pursing his lips. "Humans are extremely uncommon. Like I said, people who work here are picked out by the superiors. The humans that are picked out, I've only met a few of them. They usually get transferred to other areas, and recently with all of the violence I think we have lost one or two." He then listened to Allan, smiling as he did. Even with a shaky breath he was determined, to succeed, to survive, maybe both. "That's the spirit! Don't worry, I'll be the best partner, I promise!" Michael said as he began to follow. He hummed at the question, thinking for a moment before answering. He would be working with supernatural creatures, he deserved to know. "We are not the best in the sunshine. We won't turn into ash or anything, but it does tire us out and if we don't use sunscreen or wear protective clothing we can get badly sunburnt. Even get blisters! We're all automatically allergic to garlic. Eating it or rubbing against it makes us burst into rashes and our skin gets all itchy. Let's see, Holy Water is specifically dangerous to us. It's like acid. I think it's the mix of the blessing of something that is already pure such as water. Haven't figured out that stuff yet. We can definitely step into churches and touch crosses though. Then again there's the whole stake through the heart thing...I still don't know if that's real or not. No one's tried it before. One useful method has been burning us into ashes, but that on itself is rather difficult and messy." Michael explained. They reached the dinning hall. It was rather large, but not particularly full either. "This is where we meet every morning. We eat breakfast, get our briefings and continue on our way. You sure you don't want anything? The cook is amazing!" He paused, frowning a bit. "I know you feel out of place. But you are my partner and part of this. You are a member and will be treated as such. No one in this department can bring harm to you without expecting severe consequences from it."
  2. Michael didn't expect the screaming. By this point the elevator door had opened and everyone was looking at them like of it was a high noon showdown. He stared at Allan, studying his body language, before realizing. He was stressed, in a new situation, forced to be part of it by the sounds of it. That's usually how most recruits are recruited anyways. He raised his hands in defense. "Well, you do know why this place is special, right? Because we're the Supernatural division? We take care of the cases that involve Supernatural origin, so most of us are Supernatural ourselves, yes? You know that, right?" Michael asked softly, gesturing Allan out the elevator so other people could use it. "I...apologize that I've made you uncomfortable, or anxious. It wasn't my intention!" Michael offered his hand again. "Even if I didn't break your phone, it would have been broken anyways for security reasons. We are hunters hunting down monsters. Brilliant ones can track you and your family down with your standard phone, hence why you are given a simpler one for work. When I said I memorized your scent, I mean I memorized it because you're my partner now. If we get separated in the field and you need assistance, I am able to track you down faster that way. You are correct, we are all strange and unnatural here, one way or another. For me, I am a Vampire. I used to be human, though. But that was hundreds of years ago." Michael explained as he led Allan to the basement. There, already going through vigorous training of all kind, were different members as they watched from the balcony. "I'll answer all of your questions, so don't hesitate to ask. You'll need to be comfortable while working here."
  3. Michael chuckled. This kid had spunk, he liked that. He would need it to survive long in this industry. "Old habits die hard." Michael said as he got a hand to his lips. "Besides. Now I know your scent. Now I'll be able to track you down if you get lost." Michael said. The look on the kids face was always the same of all newbies, regardless they be human or monster. They have no idea what they got themselves into. Michael smiled at Allan. "I know it seems a bit too much. But it's only your first day! A week in you'll settle into routine and not even try." Michael assured as he gestured towards the elevator. "Here, I'll show you around. This base is directly underground the police HQ, and it's exclusive to us employees. It's not a very big department, so we have living quarters. We get involved in some dangerous work in this department, so it's safer for us and our families for us to live here than in our regular homes. It's kind of like college." Michael said, trying to explain as he stepped into the elevator, going down to the basement level. "Let's take you to the basement so you can see what you're expecting, then grab something to bite on the lunch room and lastly I'll show you your room. The good thing about your room; you can decorate it however you want as long as you don't damage the walls." Michael then extended his hand. "Hand me your phone. I'll get rid of it for you. Like I said, this is some dangerous work. For your family's safety, it's better safe than sorry." Michael smiled as he took the phone. "You can still see them in your free days if you'd like. Or contact them through Skype. Again, just be careful, ok?" Michael said as without a single struggle, proceeded to break the phone with his hand, easily crushing it in his fist as the metal and glass bent with relative ease.
  4. Saros, in his most chill voice possible: I crave the sweet release of death already
  5. Despite being a secretive part of the security department, rumors easily spread like wildlife. The hottest topic at the moment was the new recruit asked by Evington himself. Rumors were going rounds on who he was, where he came from, his skills...and the most amusing detail of all; his humanity. Not many humans got to work in this sector for obvious reasons, so when a human was recruited, it was no laughing matter. All that was left was to make a bet to see if they'd survive or not. "I heard the human arrived today!" "I haven't seen him." "Kind of hard to tell now a days huh." Michael stood in the elevator, waiting for his floor when Lord and behold, out of all people, the human stepped in. He could tell he was human. It was...vamparistic instinct that allowed him to detect his prey. To smell it. He didn't say a word, however, instead decided to watch him. He was shaking like a leaf! "(Poor kid.)" Michael thought, smiling as he followed a tad far behind from him while Evington introduced himself, seeing his chance to do the same. "Evington don't go breaking his spine. He's already nervous. No need to have him feel sore already!" Michael said casually as he stepped into the conversation. He turned to Allan. "We met at the elevator, but I didn't catch your name. I'm Michael Cassio, Senior Detective. You must be the new kid. Nice to meet you!" Michael said with a wink as he shook Allan's hand, giving it a light kiss before letting go. "Evington...does you calling me over have to do with the new kid after all?"
  6. It's perfect. He'll warm up to it...eventually. Alternatively -somewhere in the future- Saros: *dead.png* Alin: Whippy?! SAROS! Saros: *opens one eye* So you do know my name Alin: You're dead to me
  7. Saros looked over at Alin with a growl. He turned to her, his arms quickly pressed against each side of his body as he stomped the ground, his cheeks puffing slightly. "Whippy is not my name! My name is Saros!" Saros said, not amused by the nickname. Heartless went flying as Alin dashed right through, making a pathway towards Kalm. Saros followed, swinging his keyblade as he slashed through the falling Heartless that fell right behind Alin's wrath. He growled at Kalm, almost getting to his face. "Seriously?! You wield a keyblade! That's like a target permanently painted on your back! One mistake and you're one of them!" Saros hissed at Kalm. The situation had escalated beyond of what he expected, or was used to control...it was ticking him off in an annoying way. Like a scratch you couldn't itch. Frustration. He pulled his keyblade back. "I'm summoning my shadows-!" Saros hummed, but before he could do it, a blinding light shone over the town like a sun. Saros hissed, raising his arm over his face to protect himself from the extreme light, his own shadow retreating behind him. His eyes darted around, his eyes landed on the Keyhole, to which Ghost was concentrating on sealing. He extended his keyblade, pointing at the Keyhole as the beam shot from his keyblade to the Keyhole. "I got your back." Saros said, figuring that maybe using two keyblades to seal it would be faster than one...to be honest he wouldn't really know. He hadn't sealed one before.
  8. Name: Michael Cassio Age: 800+ Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Suave, confident and very social, his sarcasm has become the bane of the existence of many of his partners. However, he is kind, and genuinely affectionate and loving to his friends. Biography: Michael was born human in a time long ago, somewhere between the 17th to the 19th century. Born into the servitude of the Cassio family, he was raised as their servant alongside the Cassio children, loyal and happy, all while completely unaware of their true nature. In return the Cassio treated him much like a son of their own. One night, the Cassio manor was attacked by the local villagers, with pitchforks and fire, threatening to kill the beasts. As they set fire to the manor, villagers storming inside, Michael was quick to rush the children into the secret passages for them to escape, staying behind to fight off against the villagers. Branded as a traitor to mankind, he was beaten and bludgeoned, but not killed. Instead the villagers left him there as the fire consumed the home, burning Michael alive. By dawn, the manor was nothing but ashes and what remained of the frames. Yet, in a miracle of sorts, Michael still lived, his life hanging by a thread as his entire body had been burnt beyond recognition. In a moment of mercy, and to return the loyalty he had shown to them, the head of the family bit him, in turn turning him into a Vampire, and saving his life. Michael has been with them ever since, given the Cassio name and taken as one of their children. Weapon of Choice: Whipped Cane Species: Vampire Member of M&M?: Yes Position in M&M: Senior Detective Theme: Anything else people should know: The Cassio family are owners of multiple hospitals within the city, not only making them economically wealthy, but also making them rich in blood reserves for food. He is very well off, economically. He can play multiple instruments. Ironically, he is superstitious.
  9. Saros surely didn't expect the snark comeback, but he didn't repel it either. Instead, he was about to come back with a snarky comeback himself...until the Heartless decided to make an appearance. "(The keyhole is unlocked...crap.)" Saros thought, feeling his shadow twitched as he shoved away his handheld game. This world was supposed to be marked safe. "(We don't have control anymore, master. We've long lost it.)" Saros thought, gripping his whip handle as he pulled it out. As one Heartless jumped from the shadows, Saros swung his handle, the whip forming and expanding before wrapping itself around the Heartless. Saros used the whip to pull the Heartless towards him, as it reached him, he summoned his keyblade right at the Heartless, ripping right through the Heartless as it materialized. He jumped back against the wall behind him and used it to push himself at the upcoming Heartless, flying above Alin to slash one jumping Shadow and landing behind her. "We were sent by our masters to find a solution to these problems. Think you can keep up?" Saros said, never turning to look, his eyes focused on the Heartless that rose from the ground. He swung his whip, grabbing one Heartless before swinging it around and throwing it across, sending it flying and crashing into another one. "I thought this world was marked locked! When did this happen?!"
  10. With these upgrades the internet will never stand a chance
  11. What's a mob to a king? What's a king to a god? What's a god to a college student with 4 finals in the same day?
  12. Saros watched as more and more people suddenly began to join in on the conversation, appearing almost out of nowhere like he did. He gripped his handheld console closer, pursing his lips as he glanced around at the strangers, gently pulling his hoodie over his head as he stepped a bit closer to Ina. Too many people. He was already not very comfortable with one stranger. Now there were up to 3, all wanting to get involved. The word keyblade seemed to be bringing them like moth to a flame...then again...the worlds were falling to despair, something that hasn't happened in decades. So the word keyblade, the only thing that could actually fight back, was more than likely to bring some attention. His shadow was twitching as it was. "Did all of you follow us or something?" Saros asked, not meaning to sound rude, but simply cautious. First he looked at Kalm. "Yes, you have a keyblade. That's a thing. An important thing, actually..." Saros hummed, narrowing his eyes. "Well...something's going on but..." He paused. Could he even trust these people? Darn it. They didn't even have a place to start...maybe this could be the start. He looked up from his game. "We're looking into some...odd occurrences. Were your worlds attacked by the darkness too?"
  13. - Saros - Traverse Town (2nd District) - "You mean you don't know him either?" Saros' voice echoed momentarily, sounding around the group. From behind Kalm, a shadow twirled into a circle, and from it, Saros jumped right into existence, the shadow retreating to his own the moment his feet touched the ground. His hood was up, a handheld game in his hands as he began to make his way around Kalm, glancing at him in suspicion. "He's been around this area since before I got here. He has a keyblade but...I've never seen him before. I was hoping he was a friend of yours or something." Saros said, his voice barely loud enough to be heard. It wasn't odd for Saros to do this. He rather hide and stay in the shadows quietly until someone he knew showed up rather than to allow himself to be an open target. He may be lazy, but he knew better. Yet this kid, his keyblade at least, caught his interest no less. He leaned against the shop wall, his eyes returning down to the game, but his attention at two places at once. "So? Who's your master? Who sent you?" Saros asked. Even if he wasn't looking at him, his shadow was, two distinct eyes staring right at Kalm.
  14. I'll post tomorrow as soon as I can btw it's the final week of classes and everything is due lol
  15. Phone: *recieves E-mail notification* Me: It's late what could it possibly be- Phone: Aqua has posted a new RP- Me: Name: Vita Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: Parent(s): Vanitas & [uNDISCLOSED PARTNER] Abilities/Powers: Basic control and influence over the Darkness and dark magic. Extremely agile and quick on her feet. Her preferred weapon is a personalized staff which extends to be taller than her, covering the ends with dark spells to cause damage. Personality: Patient, reserved and kind. She isn't a very loud person and it takes a while for her to open up to new people. Once a friend, however, she is a kind and playful individual. She is the type of person to swallow her worries and thoughts until her emotions finally explode in one big round. Bio: The daughter of Vanitas, she grew up hearing and reading all about his exploits and battles that made him who he was. Despite this, she managed to see the kinder and loving side of Vanitas as a father, even when he trained her to defend herself from the moment she was able to hold a weapon on her own. She grew up in a happy household, loved by both her parents. She had always wondered about the mainland, reading what she could from the library and local newspapers. When the program was announced, she was one of the first ones to sign up, hoping to take what could be the opportunity of a lifetime. She wants to create her own path, and she hopes to succeed, if her Father's shadow doesn't blind her or those around her first.
  16. I figured you would be the one playing Xavier, being the main antagonist and all. I can play as him if no one takes it up, if you want
  17. Name: Saros Borealis Age: 17 Appearance: Keyblade: Dusk's Lullaby Other Weapon: Shadow Whip Powers (If any): Shadow Copies - He is able to create limited shadow copies of himself. Sharing a collective mind, they serve for multiple purposes and uses. They are not very strong, and when defeated they disperse into nothing. Saros cannot summon too many at a time or too many consecutively as it takes energy to create them.Personality: Childish yet with a strong sense of duty, he rather spend his time playing video games or reading books in the peace and quiet of his room than to go out training or having to talk to strangers. He's usually quiet, only talkative with his friends or master. Once warmed up, however, he can end up being quite the chatterbox. He is rather childish, easily distracted and annoyed rather easily when things don't go his way. He takes his duty of being a Keyblade wielder very seriously. Bio: Born in the planet of Anova. Training under master Mickey, Saros showed to be a prodigy of his own right despite his preference to laziness, going as far as to passing the Mark of Mastery at the age of 17. He made two good friends, his only friends for that matter, and the only ones he worries and cares about. After the worlds fell into chaos because of Xavier, Mickey suggested to join his friends in a search for answers before it all fell apart. Saros would prefer a vacation, but saving the universe could also be fun. At least, he was with his friends. Extra: WDW
  18. I would love to bring Zeph and Vita back with this. The idea has so much potential. If it reboots, count me in.
  19. I'm wearing my cutest outfit today if we arrive late I'm going to whine
  20. - Helios - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - With Aura, King Alderon, Arthur & Draksis - Arthur seemed to freeze up when Draksis mentioned that Alex and he had taken down a beast and its...companion. "(It was a girl.)" Arthur clarified in his head. He cleared his throat, bowing his head. "If you excuse me, I'll go ahead and go check on Alex." Arthur said, smiling as he quickly turned, hurrying away. Helios frowned at Draksis before giving a nod. "Thank you, Draksis. He...is another one of the many casualties that have been lost in this war. I wish we could have had more time. He honestly deserved better." Helios smiled softly. "But I'm going to make sure that his death isn't in vain. His and Ariana's." Helios said, feeling the necklace around his neck momentarily before lowering his hand. "The beast Arthur and Alex fought was a Wendigo. Their stench is unmistakable. Ironically, though not immortal, they are associated with death. They feed on the recently deceased. I've heard that they had a deal with the Queen to be allowed to live under certain conditions...I wouldn't be surprised if more were to show up on the next encounter." Helios hummed, biting his lower lip slightly. There were beings that would remain out of the conflict...sadly it would seem that the Wendigo would not be one of them. "(Please see reason, Queen Shiva. Otherwise, you might end up destroying the very same world you claim to protect.)" - Arthur - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - Visiting Alex - Arthur walked around, looking for Alex. Among the lines of injured soldiers laying down, he found him, quickly hurrying over. "Alex, you're awake." Arthur hummed, walking over as he looked down at the fellow knight. Alex could have died. He gave his time, and almost his life to help Arthur out of the field. Gladly, however, he was still alive. Injured, with fever, and an infection, but hey, alive. "And alive. I'm glad." Arthur said. "The King is alive. Injured, but alive, and so is Draksis. Lord Raiden is on his way to meet with Queen Shiva. If all goes well, the war might come to a ceasefire, or even an end. If it goes badly, however...well, it's war, isn't it?" Arthur said with a nervous chuckle. How he was capable of holding himself up was a question even to himself. He already suffered at least two breakdowns in a matter of hours, and now it was just an anxious waiting game for the next set of orders to see if they would get to live another day or not. "Thank...Thank you for helping me out of there, Alex. For having my back too." Arthur said. He needed a distraction, small talk if possible. All to avoid overthinking. "How are you feeling?...Nevermind, dumb question. Instead, do you need anything? Water or something?"
  21. Glad that it was alright with you guys I didn't even remember Raiden meeting a Raiju, whether it be the same one or different regardless, I love how that turned out lol
  22. When my best friend had a book cover of it and constantly talked about it until she convinced me to get it,
