  1. This will be a splice of life Roleplay that I will be co-hosting with theswordinthethrone who is making his RP debut here on KH13. Plot Summary Chisei Academy is an international boarding school for the intellectually gifted. Created for the reason of gathering the world's best and brightest students, Chisei Academy strives to bring out the best from what the latest generation has to offer. Over the course of three years, students will learn many great skills that will help them fulfil the great tasks that surely awaits them in their adult life. Every student will each be a given a dorm room to themselves as well as a number of study areas in order to collaborate on problems that you are unable to solve alone. However, there is in fact a requirement that must be met in order for students to attend this school. All students must maintain a steady test score percentage with an average of 90% or higher in all of their subjects. This task may seem daunting, especially with each academic year becoming harder and harder, but here at Chisei Academy, we only accept the best of the best. To enforce this requirement, we will use a three strike policy and after the third strike, you will be escorted home and be declared as a drop out. Now, on the other hand, if you find yourself succeeding at our prestigious school, then we encourage you to join one of our many extra curricular clubs in order to keep your mind and body in top mental and physical condition. We have many clubs to choose from which will help you all to form relationships with your fellow students. Now, we hope you all succeed during the next three years and show us all that you are worthy to join Chisei Academy. "You guys hear all of that? Basically, if you screw up three times at this school, you'll be sent home as the laughing stock of the century. I know it's going to be tough, but I'm sure all of you will do just fine. After all, not just anyone gets invited to come here. You guys are the best of the best, just like me. Now, despite there being any number of clubs at this school, that I personally lost count of after 50, there are always going to be people who don't fall in anywhere. Whether it be lack of skill in a specific field, a problem or habit that causes you to be treated differently from the general populace or even something as trivial as not getting along with other people, there are always going to be people who will be left to suffer in this school alone. That's why this year there will be a new club for all of you struggling with life at this absurdly stressful school. To improve social insecurity and to help deal with any mental or physical problems, I invite you all to the Normal Club! ~President of the Normal Club, Chase Cross." ------- You heard it straight from the mouth of your club president guys. The goal of this Roleplay will be to show how the relationships of our fellow club members play out over the course of the three years they attend Chisei Academy. The Normal Club itself is a place for people from across the campus to come together and slowly become what the general populace of the world would consider "Normal". Your character is not required to join the Normal Club right away and you're free to leave the club at any time during the story. As your club president, Chase will make sure to provide all of the members with fun and exciting projects to make your time spent at the school that much more fun. These projects will vary from paying attention to certain members of the club and helping them overcome their problems or something more specific for the group such as "doing actual club work". Rules Both me and theswordinthethrone will be encouraging the following of these rules. So, here's the basic rules for being a part of this RP (Don't worry, they're not as bad as they sound. ) - Follow traditional KH13 Roleplaying Rules. - I follow a three strike policy in which if you break the rules three times then you will be removed from the Rp. So please, let's all abide by the rules. (And yes, this ties in with the the policy mentioned in the plot summary, giving the character an acceptable reason for leaving the Rp.) - You can only make another post after three others have posted after you. This is to maintain an even pace and make sure that each person isn't left behind during the story. - Each of you may control up to a maximum of two characters. - A post must contain a minimum of four lines. - Please be as descriptive as possible with your posts. Detail is key to making a good story. - Be respectful to your fellow RPers. - To prove you've read the rules, place your favourite colour at the end of you character sheet. - Lets all have some fun! Character Sheet Name: Age: (1st year: 15 - 16. 2nd year: 16 - 17. 3rd year: 17 - 18.) Gender: Appearance: (Can be a picture or a description) Academic Year: (Dependant on Age.) Average Test Score Percentage: (90% - 100%) Specialisation: (Which subject do you excel in?) Personality: (Give a basic description of how your character interacts with others) Quirk: (What makes them stand out? What are their problems?) Bio: (Describe the childhood of your character leading up to them joining the academy. Optional: If this isn't your first year at Chisei academy, then describe what it was like attending the school during your previous years.) ------- As an example to follow, I will put up my own characters below. My Characters Name: Charles Cerberus Cross Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Academic Year: 2nd Year Average Test Score Percentage: 97% Specialisation: English Literature and Music. Personality: Confident. Rebellious. Arrogant. Elusive. Devious. Mischievous. Disrespectful to authority. Reliable to those in need. Respectful to senior students. Quirk: Chase suffers from an authority complex, not listening when teachers or adults talk down to him. This often leads him to getting into trouble as well as being sent to detention. He is seemingly always picking a fight verbally. Bio: Charles Cerberus Cross was a shy boy who did as he was told. Never fighting his own battles, the boy was known as a coward who simply studied in his room alone. Living up to the expectations of his parents, Charles was accepted to attend Chisei Academy and found himself settling in at the Music club. This year however, Charles appears to have an almost completely different personality, introducing himself as Chase with a new found sense of confidence that almost seems out of place for all who knew him during his previous year. What could have possibly happened to Charles during his first year? Name: David Nightray Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Academic Year: 1st Year Average Test Score Percentage: 94% Specialisation: Mathematics and Physics. Personality: Timid. Quiet. Nervous. Shy around new people. Can become friendly after a while. He's also very kind and apologetic for everything. Quirk: Dave suffers from intense stage freight, unable for him to excel in subjects such as drama or present in front of large groups. This also leads to him awkwardly trying to either quickly dissolve or completely avoid any conversations that present themselves to him. If he is put on the spot and under pressure, his mental capacity will plummet to the point that he'll begin feeling sick. Bio: Growing up as the youngest sibling among five others, David was always the one who found himself ignored and placed to one side. David felt as if his parents were giving his older siblings more attention while he himself was left to study alone. Due to this lack of attention from his family, David found himself unprepared for the day to day interaction a teen would encounter while attending school, and so began his journey down the path of social anxiety. This however led him to have less time to worry about others and more time to worry about himself, studying harder for school than any of his siblings ever had. Proving that normal schools were simply not challenging enough for him, David personally sent in an application to attend Chisei Academy without informing his parents, not revealing to them what he had done until he received the very impressive acceptance letter. Leaving his family behind, David left for the Academy in hopes of making a new start and overcoming his fears.
  2. It's official! I'm home!!
  3. Alex watched Rose take off after Haru, not expecting such a thing to happen. Regardless of that matter, Alex was now faced with a blue haired Mage who was beginning to lose her temper. "Well, I see it can not be helped. You see Miss Kori, Haru thought your attire was quite provocative. You may have wondered why he may have appeared so embarrassed while only in your vicinity, but I hold the answers to these questions. It is simple." Alex smiled innocently and waved his hands to his side with grace. "The young man must be attracted to you. With your surprisingly seductive personality and your tremendously fortuitous looks, I am sure that you have bewitched the heart of that young Hunter. However, please know that even a man's emotions can be crushed with ease, so please do not play with him. Mr Nisshoku is a very insecure Hunter, I am sure. He does tend to keep his guard up no matter who he is around." Alex looked away and placed a hand to his chin. "(I wonder how she would react to this? I may have just began a relationship... Since when have I been helping other people with their relationships? ... No matter, this should turn out to be quite interesting, especially if she begins getting violent.)" Alex smiled at Kori, coming up with another brilliant lie to continue the game he was playing. "I am sure that Mr Nisshoku took off after feeling embarrassed in your presence. If you are able, perhaps you should meet up with him during lunch and spend some time together before you miss your opportunity. After all~... Even someone like Rose could move in at this point should his heart be swayed." Alex chuckled a little, acting carefree as he finished his breakfast and awaited the reaction that would begin his great day. ~Meanwhile~ Haru looked down at Rose as she had attempted to heal his hand, only showing brief signs of improvement. Rubbing his palms together, Haru blushed as he found himself alone with Rose. "(Why do I always get stuck with the cute ones?)" Haru scratched his head a little and looked around. "Thanks... I mean, you didn't really have to heal me, I'm sure I would've been fine on my own... I don't know how to repay you." Haru's eyes began to spin, trying to think of some kind of topic to talk about. "W-W-Well you seem awfully friendly with Kori. How did you two meet? I'm sure there might have been a few dozen misunderstandings before you became friends." Haru asked, feeling that talking about one of the others might draw some of the attention away from how awkward the situation was. However, this act came across as Haru being interested in Kori with the blush on his face becoming obviously apparent. ~Meanwhile~ Koyomi sighed, slouching a little and stopping his 'nerd act'. "I was hoping you'd notice. Pulling off that ridiculous act is nothing more than a tool to fool moronic students. Anyway..." Koyomi's expression tightened, his eyes becoming narrower as he began taking the situation more seriously. "... as you know, I'm not looking for anything this library has to offer. I need to know the specifics of what happened during the war and about the Last Nephilim. You may be right about me not being human, but I'm sure not a demon either. If you have answers, then talk." Koyomi tightened his hand into a fist, seemingly displaying some kind of explicit emotion for the first time. "That demon possession proved that I'm not human. I read it in one of the books last night. If a demon possesses a human, that human may as well be dead... But it possessed me and I'm still here. So that means, I'm something else." Koyomi then extended his hand and pointed at Samael. "But! You walked into my head without breaking a sweat, despite all of my mental barriers I had put in place for the demon. That can only mean that you're not human either. So tell me, who and what are we?"
  4. Haru almost coughed up his food from the force of Kori's "tap" on his back. Feeling a little embarrassed, the young man turned away from the girls who were now surrounding him and looked down at his hand. "But... That wasn't even me..." Haru's hand still stung, the crescent moon shaped burn having been engraved into his skin from the Masamune. "A cursed blade that can cut anything, even the user's soul... How can Koyomi wield something like that?" Haru's face was hidden in his hands, feeling slightly depressed at his inferiority complex to Koyomi. Alex stared at the black haired hunter and smiled sneakily. "Well, you know ladies, Mr Nisshoku over here was talking about the maturity of the Witches at this aca-" Alex immediately found a hand over his mouth, an incredibly flustered Haru trying not let the girls find about his true intentions. "Alex, no offence, but you need to shut the hell up!" Alex blinked his eyes and began to mumble through Haru's hand. "But didn't you say that Kori's attire was very-" "I never said anything about Kori's attire! I'm leaving!" Eating the last of his food, Haru collected his things and headed out of the cafeteria. Alex looked around to find himself surrounded by three beautiful maidens and decide to smirk to himself. "Well, this looks nice~... Anyway, how are you all doing today?" ~Meanwhile~ Looking around the corner of one of the shelves, Koyomi recognised the mysterious man who had appeared in his mind the day before. Scanning him carefully and noticing how he conversed with Hana, the snow haired boy came to the conclusion that he was a well respected hunter. Deciding to approach the man with a book to his chest, Koyomi thought of using his disguise to talk to him indirectly. "Uhhh... Excuse me, sir? I was hoping you could point me towards the books that concern the relationships between Angels and Demons. I'm also searching for information about the ancient war, if it's not too much trouble?" Koyomi bowed his head profusely, his deception skills being second to only witches with transformation skills. However, despite his secretly insincere gestures, Koyomi was sure that a man of his rank would see right through his disguise. "(Well, that doesn't matter. He wanted me to come to him, so here I am. So old man, what do you have to tell me?)"
  5. So~ I get the feeling I've missed a lot over the two weeks I was gone. Anyone willing to summarise what's happened in my absence? Edit: Also, MDS, could you reintroduce Nathan back into the show anytime after tomorrow night if that's not too much to ask? I've had lots of time to think of how to level Nathan up gradually, so now I want to put my plan into use! Hehehe~...
  6. Guess who's almost back home?! Currently in Luxemburg with Wi-Fi for the day, but I'll be home on Sunday! Anyway, over my two weeks around Europe, I have been working hard to create ideas for my new Rp and I have come to this conclusion! ... Everyone's going to do what they want anyway, so why bother? Nah, just kidding, I got a plan. So, I'll hopefully be able to keep my tier 1 status if I post the sign-ups when I get back. So, I hope you all are ready to join the Normal Club!
  7. Hey everyone! I have returned!! ... Sort of... I have two more nights here in Luxemburg before arriving home in the UK, but I have Wi-Fi all day today, so I guess this is my early return. Basically, I'll be home soon. So! Tell me what I've missed everyone. Anything exciting happen?
  8. Wi-Fi is Subway! Italian Subway is awesome! @Weedanort - Unfortunately not. Well, this'll probably be my last chance to get Wi-Fi before I go back home. So, I'll see you all when I get back!
  9. Helloooo~ Everybody!!! Oblivion-Sama here calling in from a bar in Rome! My tour of Europe had been great so far and I seem to have fallen in love with the landscapes of Italy! The pasta and pizza is also as great as I was expecting! I hope everyone's not feeling too bad in my absence! Okay, keep having fun everyone, I'll be back home in the UK on the 12th, Ciao!!
  10. Waking up from the screech that was on par with whaling Banshee, Haru sat up in his bed and yawned. "Do we have to be woken up by that everyday?" Haru mumbled, rubbing his eyes and looking over at Koyomi's bed. However, the site that presented itself to Haru was quite odd. Instead of finding Koyomi in his bed, the only thing within sight was a five foot wall of books surrounding the bed like a fort. Within the fort, Koyomi stood up on top of his bed while reading a large book on specific demons. "... Did you stay up all night reading?" "I was bored." "How about sleeping?" "I have better things to do with my time. Besides, I rarely feel tired from typical human exhaustion." "Well you seemed pretty out of it when you were possessed yesterday." "That was an extremely strenuous situation, one that I doubt you would have walked away from without suffering some sort of consequence." Koyomi pondered to himself, realising that he'd boxed himself in with all the books he had been reading. "For someone so smart, you ended up doing something pretty stupid." "Quiet. The thought hadn't come across my mind at that point. These books provided me with a lot of information that I was missing previously." Closing the book he was currently reading, Koyomi placed it on top of one of the piles surrounding him. Reaching for the Masamune next to his bed, which was now stored in a black bag that could be carried over one shoulder, Koyomi wore the sword on his back and took a few steps back. Knowing that Koyomi's fitness was already a problem, Haru put a hand over his face in wait for the disaster that was sure to come. Koyomi took three consecutive steps forward and jumped forward, placing his hands on the books in front of him as he front rolled over them. Unfortunately, Koyomi's landing was nowhere near as graceful as he fell straight onto his back on the other side of the pile of books. "... Owww..." Haru stifled a laugh but immediately shut himself up as soon as Koyomi sent a glare in his direction. "That was a good try you know. You almost got it." "... Just keep quiet. I don't need your sympathy." Koyomi said with a sigh as he stood up and brushed himself off. "Anyway, I'm going to shower before anything else happens." Koyomi walked into the bathroom, locking the door behind him. Haru took out his timetable and stared at it. "Okay, we have a little bit of time between now and when our lessons start. I'm going to assume that the students are given a chance to have breakfast here." Haru's thoughts were suddenly interrupted after hearing a knock at his door. Opening it, Haru was welcomed by Alex's heartwarming smile. "Hello Mr Nisshoku. How was your first night at the academy?" Haru groaned a little, feeling that it was too early in the morning to deal with Alex's overwhelming arrogance. "It was fine. Anyway, what's up?" "I bring a warning for Koyomi. Where is he?" "Shower." "Right... Well then, inform him that there is a group ravenous females outside awaiting the appearance of the youngest Valentine. Perhaps a disguise is required." Opening the door slightly, Koyomi popped his head out from the bathroom with a calm expression. "Don't worry. I have a plan." Koyomi then disappeared into the bathroom once again. Haru stopped and looked over at Alex once again. "Well, looks like he's got it covered." "Yes, it would seem so. In the mean time, we should acquire some sustenance to begin our surely long day." Haru sighed, just barely coping with Alex and highly exaggerated speech patterns. "Alright, let me just get changed, I'll be out in a minute." "Very well." Haru closed the door and changed out of what he wore to bed and into his uniform, heading out of the building with Alex. As the two left the male dorm, they noticed the swarm of freshmen witches that were lining up to see Koyomi. "Poor guy..." "Indeed. I must say however that I am a little jealous. This is the first time I have seen any number of females ignore me while waiting for someone else as I walk past." Haru smiled and patted Alex's back. "Ahhh, don't worry about it. It's quality over quantity, don't you think? Especially considering that the girls we were hanging out with yesterday were second year witches. You gotta love maturity~" "... This is quite hypocritical of you considering you were the one who could barely hold a conversation with any of them on your own." Haru looked away from Alex's smirk, feeling embarrassed about not being able to impress any of the girls the day before. "L-Let's just go and get some food already." "Of course~ Whatever you say~" The two then walked together to the cafeteria, acquired their meals after waiting for a few minutes and then sat opposite each other, eating their first meals of the day peacefully. "What exactly are the odds of the girls from yesterday coming to sit with us?" "After the way you behaved yesterday? I would say the chances are equal. They will either come to some conclusion that we've all become connected through yesterday's interactions and will want to spend every day with us... Or, they will think that you were a complete imbecile and will not want to talk to you ever again." Haru sighed despairingly, believing that he had ruined his chances at making some new friends. "Well... At least I wouldn't have the blue haired girl bothering me anymore..." "It looks like you are already beginning to see the bright side of this. Your optimism is astounding." "Thanks... I think. I wonder how Koyomi is doing." ~Meanwhile~ Back at the male's dorm, Koyomi peered out of his window, noticing the fangirls that awaited his arrival. "This a tricky situation, but my mastery of stealth and infiltration games should help me here." Dressing in his uniform scruffily, Koyomi grabbed a pair of glasses and a hair band to tie his hair back as he left the building. Holding a book next to his chest, Koyomi took the appearance of the most clumsy and nerdy looking teenager imaginable, not even causing the girls to bat an eye as he walked past them. Purposefully falling over and being laughed at, Koyomi ran away while pretending to be embarrassed. After escaping the vicinity of the male dorm and straightening his uniform out correctly, Koyomi headed to the library to drop off the book he had used as a distraction. Thinking for a while, Koyomi decided to leave his hair tied back and kept the glasses on, thinking that it would be a nice change in comparison to how his usually curly would flow out messily. Returning the book, Koyomi stepped back from the shelf and looked across the aisle in search of anything interesting. Groaning to himself, Koyomi came to an unpleasant conclusion as he crossed his arms. "I need an expert to point me in the right direction. Simply reading all of the books in the library will take too much time."
  11. Okay everyone! I'm going on holiday around Europe for the next two weeks. I'll see you all when I get back!
  12. Okay MDS, I'm done. Take him away~ Anyway, I'll see you all in two weeks when I get back. Good bye everyone! See you all later!
  13. Nathan smiled as Nora introduced herself and waved her paint brush around. "Nora Geonova... I'll remember it." Feeling his eyes beginning to droop, Nathan came to the conclusion that he no longer had much time left to spare before he'd be taken away. Coughing a little, Nathan looked over the crystal he had taken from Watthyp's sceptre and held it out in front of him. "I'm going to hold onto this while I'm gone. That way, I'll have something to point me in the right direction when I come back." Sighing, Nathan looked down at Chester before getting an idea. "This should play out nicely upon my return..." Nathan looked back at Nora and just barely managed to lift his hand and pointed at Chester multiple times. "Look after the kid until I get back, okay? Be careful when exploring the city. Besides those guys I met, there are also these giant creatures called dolls to watch out for." Coughing again, Nathan looked back at the crystal in his hands, clutching it with both hands. "I'll make sure to come back stronger than before, no matter what. I won't have Tristan up-stage me again." Lying back, Nathan could feel that his powers were completely spent, not even allowing him to lift the crystal in his hands without touching it. "Looks like I really need to rest after all..." Nathan put two finger to the side of his head horizontally, giving Nora a salute. "I'll be back... in no time... Count on it. For now though... I need to rest... See you later... Nora." Nathan then dipped his head again, maintaining a heavy grip on the crystal. "Q... I'm ready to go now... Just make sure to bring me back to this world. Because... Despite all of the pain and suffering..." Nathan smirked to himself out of pure joy. "This world is just too fun!"
  14. I'm going to post one more time for Nathan to say good bye to Nora before he goes into the chamber. After that, you guys can go wild.
  15. Ouch, that was harsh. Also, pretty sure we established Tristan was more annoying due to the fact we collectively jettisoned him down a tube. Please don't let Star here you say that, she'll start getting competitive.
  16. *coughs profusely* I have no idea what she's talking about. *whistles*
  17. Nathan watched as Warthyp fell to the floor, dead. The world now glowing with colour thanks to his and Nora's doing. Listening to everything Q had to say, Nathan smiled to himself and nodded. "Q, if you can hear my thoughts, then give me a minute to sort some things out." Nathan took a step forward, but felt the adrenaline running through his body suddenly drain, causing him to fall flat on the floor. "... Looks like I really was out of it..." Nathan rolled over onto his back and stared at the roof. "Hey... I never really introduced myself properly before now." Nathan slowly sat up, straining himself to look over at Nora with a smile. "My name's Nathan Cross. I'm 19 years old and I was supposed to be taking over a million dollar company when I came here." Nathan stared at his hands before he noticed the staff that Warthyp dropped. "After arriving, I was attacked by some others in the city and that's how I was so banged up when we met. The main guy, his name was Tristan. He's a selfish guy who will do what he wants despite what anyone else wants. If you ever come across him, you can't trust him." Nathan took hold of the staff, taking the crystal from the rod and placing it in his pocket. "Q talked to me... She wants to take me out of the game for a while so I can recover from these wounds... I don't want you waiting for me, so I'll catch up to you when I'm feeling better." Nathan coughed a little, blood running out his mouth. Wiping it away to seem tough, he smiled at Nora again. "I have a little time to talk before I go and rest for a while. So, feel free to ask me whatever while I'm still here. But don't worry, I'm definitely not going to die!" Nathan said laughing a little. Having something suddenly occur to him, Nathan looked up at Nora with another innocent smile. "I almost forgot. May I have your name so I know who I need to return to?"
  18. Literally the only guy on this site from Wales - UK.
  19. Okay party people! Seeing as tomorrow is my last day before my two week holiday I thought I would prepare for all of you a little something special. I shall give you all a teaser to the Rp I will be co-hosting once I return from my holiday. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show! ----------- Welcome to Chisei Academy, an international boarding school for the intellectually gifted. Here, students from all around the world come to study and prove that they are among the best of the very best. At our academy, students will be required to maintain an average grade of at least 90% in all of their test scores for every subject. If a student fails to follow this rule three times, then they will be immediately removed from the Academy and escorted home. However, if you study hard enough, you will find that a large amount of your free time can be spent on attending one of the many clubs that are on offer at our school. At these clubs, we will be hoping that students will find something they enjoy in their free time as well as make friendships that will last them the duration of their school year. Here at Chisei Academy, there is a club activity for everyone. Baaaaaaaakaaa~! You seriously believe this crap? Listen up folks, we all know that highschool is the hardest time of our young lives, no matter how smart you are. There's always going to be the social rejects who fit in nowhere and don't know what to do. Well, I have a proposition for you losers. I'm beginning a club for you people who really don't know anything about life and giving you a chance to sort yourselves out before we all become adults and it's too late. If you wanna a know more, why don't you swing by class 2 - D after school ends. I'm second year student and club president Chase Cross. Welcome to the Normal Club.
  20. Just read it. Thanks a lot. I'll be able to put up a good post or two before I leave so that it'll make sense when Nathan goes into recovery.
  21. MDS! Okay, I don't want to sound desperate or selfish, but I have a situation to deal with. I'm sure you'll come across what I mean if you're looking through my other recent messages on this thread.
  22. Okay. If Star's next post is to blow up Warthyp with a rocket launcher, then I might just be able to get something sorted before my two week holiday.
