  1. So~ I just started playing Persona 3 using a PSP emulator on my laptop.Wish me luck guys.
  2. I have 40 Platinum Trophies. I think that answer speaks for itself.
  3. *Sigh* ... Well, I guess I do have the opportunity to spice things up a bit with Vladimir in control now, so I guess I can act a bit more evil.
  4. I just wanted to say something here and ask a few of you on your opinion. You see, all of you guys are playing the good guys (mostly) and I'm seemingly playing the bad guy in the story (or at least the mentally deranged one). Currently, I understand that we're all developing our abilities at an even pace, but here's where the dilemma comes in. By the end of the story, if I'm still the villain, then I'll most likely have to fight quite a few of you all at the same time. Now to do that effectively, I'm going to need my character to become a hell of a lot stronger than what he is now. But then again, a few of you seem to treat Nathan as if he's just some power hungry brat instead of an actual threat and honestly, it's kind of insulting, just saying.
  5. Nathan trusts no one, not even his loyal minion Asher (Sorry Neko.) and that's pretty much how he's always lived. Then again, that doesn't really matter right now because instead of Nathan, Vladimir is in control of the body.Anyway, it just went 5 AM and now I'm pretty tired. I'm gonna get some sleep so I can debate useless stuff some more later. Good night everyone.
  6. -_- This is slightly unsettling because it is an actual possibility.
  7. I think we all know at this point that Nathan has no real care for what Q thinks. If anything, he wants to kill her and prove that he is stronger than anyone else. So if she doesn't like the sight of a giant black hole devouring "The City" to stop Q from getting what she wants, then she can feel free to try and stop him herself.
  8. The only thing that could possibly tip the advantage out of Maxwell's favour is if Nathan were able to develop the ability to create black holes and control them. At that point, he'll actually be nearing final boss material.
  9. I've been told that I'm overly-analytical when it comes to stuff like this as I like to theorise to myself quite often. XDEither way, I agree. A fight between the two of them would be very interesting.Nathan's strenghs come from his overwhelming power and tactical mind while weakness is incredibly low defences and endurance.Maxwell's strengths (from what I could tell) come from his highly adaptable ability and attack speed. However, he seems to be only good for short bursts, expending his energy all in one go rather than cautiously like some other characters.Honestly, I can actually see it going either way if they were to fight right now.
  10. That's fair and good, but Nathan's strength doesn't come from manipulating matter. Gravity is a force and a force should remain out of your characters control completely. So basically, Nathan can crush her into dust using nothing more than control over gravity from at most 50ft away. Sure~... That'll totally go well. Scrap, I think you're overestimating how much of an advantage Maxwell actually he has. Nathan is sly, so if he finds that gravity alone has little to no effect on Maxwell, then he'll just start using his powers in a different way that will allow him to fight back. For example, Nathan can strengthen his own body by using his powers on the atoms stored in his body, allowing himself to actually become denser. He can also apply his powers to melee weapons in order to deal more damage. Also, I have found that Maxwell has two flaws with his super charged state. The first is that he must actually regain a solid form in order to land an actual hit, making him prone to counter attacks from blind spots. And secondly, after Maxwell comes out of that state, he is completely exhausted. So, if Nathan can out last the duration of Maxwell's super charged state, he can actually beat him. It's just that the chances of that are slim due to how fast Maxwell actually moves.
  11. Slight misconception. I wouldn't be using my gravity on the sword, if just be using it on the character to the point that holding the sword would be impossible. A few other things that would be impossible at that point would also include standing and normal breathing.Anyway, you're right that Maxwell is the only one who can properly shut down end game Nathan. The only reason he was beaten by Tristan was because his powers reached their limit and it ended in a slug-fest.Also, there's no way I'm giving up the role of the main villain from user side of the Rp to Shao Khan. Not to be funny, but he actually doesn't stand a chance.
  12. Well, that does sound pretty funny. But doesn't that just mean that if she can't reach me with her sword, isn't Nathan invincible to her?
  13. Well fair enough. Then again, I'm not worried really even if you did. Also, could you remind me what your characters power is, I've actually forgotten.
  14. I'm sorry, were you just getting used to how Nathan acts? Lol, too bad. Looks like you guys have a REAL VILLAIN to put up with now!
  15. ((So many short posts~... Guess I'll do a long one and go into detail on Nathan's backstory a little.)) ---- Running through the seemingly blank streets of the new district, Nathan hurried through the streets in an attempt to reach the next Trial. However, "something" was chasing Nathan and he was unable to shake it loose no matter where he ran to. As Nathan ran, he would occasionally look at the buildings around him and in the reflection of the windows Nathan would see someone other than himself. Instead of his own reflection, Nathan began seeing a shadow like figure that radiated with a dark presence. Grinding to a halt, Nathan stared at a glass window and pulled out the gun that he had tucked into his trousers, pointing it at the dark figure that reflected back at him. "Who are you? Why are you following me? Are you another apparition that this City has created to test me? First my younger brother Stark, then my rival Vladimir and now you. Why?! Why are you all barraging me with these images of my past? I demand answers, now!" The dark figure chuckled and Nathan's anger began to boil once again, his finger almost pulling the trigger. "Nathan~... Are you capable of understanding what love is?" Nathan's eyes narrowed intently as the shadow surrounding the figure in the glass began to fade away. "Love is an emotion that I have no need for. It will only get in the way." "Do not be so hasty to decide that. It is something that we both require in our life. Without love, we will never gain a hatred strong enough to truly attain the power that we need." Nathan lowered the gun slowly, his expression contorting into a state of confusion. "What do you mean... We? Just who the hell are you?" The shadowy figure's appearance transformed into that of a young man who looked similar to Nathan, but different at the same time. His face, height and speech all appeared the same, but his outfit and general demeanour were much darker than Nathan's. "Come closer Nathan." Without a second's hesitation, Nathan walked towards the glass until the glass was an inch in front of him. "Now, do me a favour and show me how far down the rabbit hole you can go." Unable to react, Nathan could only watched horrified as a hand reached out from the glass and pulled him through it, his body landing flat on the floor inside the building. It was then, in Nathan's mind, that something unpredictable occurred. "Vlad, you're losing again. When are you ever going to give me a real good run for my money?" An eight year old Nathan was playing a game of chess against his childhood rival, Vladimir, with the red head dominating the match as per usual. "What's the point of going against me again and again Nathan if you know you can beat me? I wish I were more like you... I don't want to lose at anything!" The young Nathan looked away from Vladimir with a sigh. "Trust me Vlad, winning is great and everything, but it's boring when it's this easy. Not just this game, but running my father's company is even easier than he tells me. I think that's why my parents hate me, it's because I'm smarter than them." "You are a real genius Nathan, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! As long as you're the best, what does anything else matter?" Nathan smirked at Vladimir as quickly moved the chess pieces in order to check mate Vladimir. "You know, that's not a bad idea. I'll start my own company once I turn ten and by the time I'm twenty-two... No, twenty years old, I'll own both companies. From there, I might even go on to own the world. Wouldn't that be something?" "Yeah, it really would! But don't think I'll let you get away with it! I'll be right at your heels all the way." Vladimir looked happy, but Nathan was wrapped up in his own thoughts as usual. "Yes, I'll own my company and my father's company. They'll finally stop giving so much attention to that little brat of a brother I have and finally be able to see me as the best. I'll finally be able to show them that I'm worthy of their admiration. My brother, my mother and even my horrible father, as well as everyone else in the world, I'll make sure they all know the name Nathan Cross! I will not stop until they all acknowledge me for who I am!" "But why are you doing this Nathan? I mean, what do you gain from this?" Nathan laughed at the question, a devilish smirk appearing on the face of the eight year old. "I'll have proved that I existed!" For a minute or so, the boy lay there completely still, but his body eventually began twitching and he managed to get back to his feet. However, the glare in his eyes was reason enough to tell that this was not the same boy who had thrown himself through the plane of glass a minute earlier. The boy looked at his hands and began clicking his fingers with one hand, moving his thumbs over fingers and pushing down on them. "It has been a while since I've had some direct control... And this power over gravity... Nathan did well to get it to this level. However, he is far from mastering it." The young man who was now in control of Nathan's body looked up and held his hand to his head. "Good night Nathan. Sweet dreams... That's what I would say if someone like you could have any." The boy looked around and found that he himself was in some kind of clothing store. "Good. I needed new clothes anyway. Nathan always did have an awful fashion sense." After ten minutes of picking out clothes, the young man left the store wearing a black set of trousers with a black dress shirt and tie, donning a black coat over the top. "Much better. Now, I will need a name to go by if I am to encounter Nathan's underling... Perhaps I will use the name of Nathan's childhood friend. Yes, that will suit me fine." The boy smirked, his eyes flashing a crimson red briefly from Nathan's natural dark brown. "If all those idiots who gathered together thought that Nathan was bad, just wait until they get a load of what Vladimir has to offer!"
  16. If you're going to move, then come live with me already!
  17. Nathan took the earth made sword from Tristan and nodded to him as the two went their separate ways. The young man then looked back at Asher who was messing around with the weapons that they had just received from Nora. "Yeah, it is pretty cool... I guess." Nathan's gaze was low, the two having reached the border to new district. Instead of proceeding onward, Nathan halted in his tracks and seemed to stop moving completely. His expression was blank and seemingly devoid of life. He turned to Asher and gave a faint smile. "Hey... I need to be by myself for a while, okay? Just keep heading towards the next trial and I'll catch up to you later." Nathan handed a sword and a gun to Asher before walking off on his own a few blocks away. After finding that he was completely alone, Nathan stared out at the endless streets of the city. "Looks like you're about to break." Nathan casually tilted his head to the right to find a new face staring at him. Leaning up against the wall was a young man who looked like he was near the same age as Nathan with a full lock of black hair that reached down to his shoulders. Unlike Nathan's current attire, the young man wore an all black, tight fitting suit with matching shoes and tie. "You... You're not supposed to be here." "Well, I figured that you got tired of seeing Stark here and there, so I thought I would pop in for a visit." The black haired young man stepped off from the wall and put his arm around Nathan's shoulders as the latter could only stare at the ground. "So, let's see. You got defeated by Tristan. I mean, he exhausted himself in the process, but even I could see that he beat you. It must be hard for you. It must burn right down into your core." Nathan held his hand up to his head as his legs began to shake, the well dressed young man putting his hand on top of Nathan's head, almost pushing him down towards the ground. "You failed Nathan. Your determination to become the strongest and most feared has only led you on a path of self destruction. It won't be long before you end up as nothing more than a slab of rotten meat on the curb of the road." Nathan's body collapsed onto his hands and knees, his mind messing with him so much that it was beginning to tear his very psyche apart. "Being strong... It's over-rated... What's the point of standing at the top if no one admires you while you're there?" The black haired boy laughed ecstatically, resounding in Nathan's ear drums loudly. "Then tell me Nathan, what is it that you want? Tell me what it is that you want in this world." Nathan struggled against the force coming from the young man, the earth beneath him beginning to shake as his powers shining through to the surface. "... I want... to be recognized. I don't want to become my own person... I don't want to live in my father's shadow anymore. Those parents who abandoned me... The adopted guardians who treated me like an outsider... The younger brother who bathed in the love while I drowned in the hate... I'll show them all..." The black haired man talked down to Nathan as he was now having trouble keeping him down. "Then tell me! Shout it out with everything you've got! What is your purpose in life?!" Tears of anger ran down Nathan's face as he pushed himself into the air, screaming at the top of his lungs. "To gain the power to finally be acknowledged by everyone in this world!!!" Nathan breathed heavily, a resounding shock wave having been blown out in every direction from where he had been standing. The red headed boy looked around slowly to find that the other teen had disappeared. "Gone again... Vladimir." Nathan looked down at his hands, his shaking body was now deadly steady. His expression was serious as he wiped the tears from his face. "I understand now, why I lost... Next time, I won't." Turning around swiftly, the young man hurried off into the city towards the next trial and meet back up with Asher.
  18. What's wrong Senpai? I didn't do anything wrong! Please don't hurt me... TT_TT
  19. My move to Australia will be coming up in the next two months. Anybody already there that's waiting for me to grace them with my presence?
  20. After witnessing the rocket shooting into the sky, Nathan turned away from the large annoyances that was going on in the background. With a frown, Nathan took the items from Nora and nodded in understanding as she explained how the weapons would turn back into ink if they broke or ran out of ammo. "I'll keep it in mind. We'll be careful." Looking back at the group slowly becoming happy and friendly with each other, Nathan looked at the ground almost sadly. "Alright I'll be off then." Turning away, the red headed adolescent took a few steps before stopping. "If anyone else wants to join me, I won't mind. Let's go Asher." Nathan then put his hands into his pockets as the weapons floated in the air around him. "It's not too late to make friends... That's something Stark used to tell me. Unfortunately, he's wrong. It's impossible for someone like me to have friends. I just can't." The young man had said that he was heading South, but was unsure of it himself, deciding to head in the direct opposite direction as to where the larger group was going. "Maybe even Asher would want to stay with this group... Looks like I'll be going back to being alone... again." Nathan put a hand on his head, thinking of all that had been said and done during his fight with Tristan. "I said that I wanted to be acknowledged by someone... I actually managed to say it rather than just think about it... Damn that guy~... And he gives me an answer like that? What an idiot..." Nathan had stopped walking after reaching the end of the road, only his back being shown from far away to the large group that was gathering. "... I died today." Nathan's arms began to tremble as he grabbed his shirt tightly, speaking a barely audible whisper to himself. "... I'm afraid... I don't want to die... But more than anything... I don't want to find myself dying alone again..." Nathan bit his own lip, trying to re-ascertain his "tough guy" persona to himself and to anyone who may have been trying to hear what he was saying. "Who cares? I don't. No big deal. I'll live just like I always have... Just like I always... Have..." Nathan silently headed South to the next trial and the new district, not knowing if anyone was still willing to travel with him or not.
  21. 0_0 ... *looks at you and then at the post numbers before looking back at you* -_- Damn you~...
