Nice theory, I like it. It's always possible, or it could be a sentiment, as we don't quite know how they work. But I agree that Xehanort might have had the Nobody symbol lying around for a while. Maybe it was the symbol of their master, or indeed, something he made up. Damn, there's so much stuff this is bringing up. D:

It's the same version of the Keyblade, it's just the image isn't that good.

It's slightly less decorated than Xemnas's armor. And seeing as Xemnas probably based his armor after one of his original incarnations (Master Xehanort) this could be Master Xehanort's keyblade armor.

Aqua doesn't even have any relationship with Kairi, unlike Xion, who's appearance was based off of Kairi's.

No, they're still entirely different. Kairi's hair in KH2 is long and staight, while Aqua's is, well, sort of short-ish, and sticking out in places.

No, different hairstyles, Aqua is also taller. Xion looks more like KH1 Kairi, 'cept with black hair.

It was fine. It doesn't NEED a remake. The only reason we've had remakes is because either the game just wasn't as good as it could be because of the limitations of the console (CoM) or because it was released on a medium that it wasn't released on elsewhere (Coded). Days has neither of those problems, it has voiced cutscenes, and was released on the DS.

Frame rate issues, the multiplayer would've been all jumpy.

On the contrary, recall the scene with Axel and Saix. If you do not know what I am talking about (Especially since I was being very vague.) here is the cutscene: (Skip to about 0:21) b50Cx-JvaYA "Which would you rather suffer the loss of? Some make-believe friendship, or a real one?" Everyone knows he is obviously talking about Xion and Roxas, there isn't any doubt about that. But notice how he said that? A "real one". He is referring to how Roxas has ties with Ventus. I'm pretty sure no one knows that Roxas has a heart, but Saix was referring to how Axel, during when he was actually Lea, befriended Ventus. And seeing how Roxas bore the appearance of Ventus, Saix was basically saying that Axel/Lea's friendship with Ventus could 'continue'. Also, since this could obviously be shot down by "Axel doesn't remember that." Well notice his reaction to when Saix says "Which would you rather suffer the loss of? Some make-believe friendship, or a real one?" Axel's reaction shows that he obviously knew what Saix was talking about. Well, think about it, if Xion dies, no one remembers, if Roxas dies, then they do. Xion doesn't really exist, while Roxas, to a point, does. That's what Saix is referring to, Xion was viewed as just a tool to be used, while Roxas is, to a certain extent, a functioning human being. There is absolutely no reason for Saix or Axel to remember some kid they met on the street over a decade before, nor do they make any other reference to it. You'd think that'd be a given, 'You remind me of this guy I once knew', but Axel makes no reference to Ventus, nor does he see Xion as Ventus either, like Xigbar does, which he would if he remembered him.

I actually ran this scenario through my head a couple times. If Terra ever gets his body and mind back, then the Lingering Sentiment will probably have no further reason to exist. However, Sora has fought the Lingering Sentiment before, and might enlist the help of Lingering Sentiment to help Terra (bringing the Lingering Sentiment's existence full circle, in a way) and the others. I just can't imagine that the Lingering Sentiment will just stay around and do nothing, especially since it promised Aqua and Ventus that one day it would put things right.

This could just be Xehanort's 'sentiment' like the Eraqus armor battle. In which case, it's possible that players could receive Xehanort's keyblade for use after beating him, which I guess is also a possibility for the Eraqus battle. We know that Xehanort had Keyblade armor at some point in his life, and because Xemnas had a similar set of armor in his KH2 bossfight, that this could be what inspired Xemnas's armor, through regained, though scattered, memories. 'To the Dark, Distant View' could mean many things, possibly a vision of the dark path that Xehanort will take. I can't find an accurate translation of what is actually said on Your Japanese Tales, but from what I've gathered, through throwing it through several translators, is that the throne isn't a part of the battle, he'll just appear in it, and then stand up to fight. Should be interesting, can't wait for pics.

Lea met Ventus once, sure, they spoke and hung out for a little bit (like 20 minutes or whatever), but that was it. He met Roxas about 10 years later. He's not gonna remember Ventus all that well, if at all. He became friends with Roxas because he was assigned to watch him over two weeks or so, and it sort of grew from there, because unlike the rest of the Org. XIII, Roxas actually cared about Axel due to his complete cluelessness and the presence of Ven's heart, which is the only thing that makes Roxas look like Ventus, by the way, he doesn't share any memories, and Ven's heart isn't active within him, it's just sort of, there.

Only thing I can suggest is to look over the thread with Grass's theory on it carefully, you'll probably find a counter-argument.

On the plus side, this probably means that both Eraqus's and Xehanort's Keyblades will be available for use.
