Nah, but I'd recommend at least giving them a chance Well I don't see how DTB or Gurren Lagann are overrated, but you should check out GTO. Good show DBZ is up there, if I did a top 10 it'd definitely be on there along with Dragonball No way man -
Basically these are my top favorite anime and yeah Gurren Lagann Why? Because Kamina and giant robots, of course. It's a real work of art if you ask me. Cowboy Bebop A brilliant space western with one of the coolest characters ever, Spike Spiegel. Darker Than Black This show is like some sort of Japanese X-Men. The main character, Hei, is basically Chinese Electric Batman. Great Teacher Onizuka Good comedy, weird faces, Steve Blum...what more could you ask for? Yu Yu Hakusho BECAUSE KUWABARA. I only chose 5 because it was really hard to narrow down. Feel free to post your own top 5 if you want.
