The worst that could happen is that right after you ask her out, she says no, and the way she says it causes the soundwaves of her voice to bounce around the town until it gets to some computer that's in communication with a quantum physics scientist and then the noise comes out of the computer at the quantum physics scientists science lab and the sound waves hit an unstable atom of a new super-unstable element, causing the universe to explode. That scenario was the only bad thing I can think of that could happen, and there's only about a 1 in a few hundred trillion chance of it happening.
