  1. ~James Harper~ Company... James felt the presence of Vanitas' question would linger should he deny him. He swallowed the last of his nervousness down in an attempt to clear his head, and turned to Vanitas. "Okay. Let's pretend that everything is fine, and head to the playhouse. I don't think they're preforming today, but practice is almost always going on." James led Vanitas the remainder of the way down the stairs and onto the first floor, where someone seemed to be screaming near the information desk. James rushed over and greeted him. "Hi, yes, hello. Is there something I can help you with?" James looked over to Vanitas and held up a finger, seeming to say 'this'll just be a minute.'

  4. Anyone remember that Ventus/Roxas and the data computer theory for KH3 that was posted here months ago? I wanna find it again.
  5. TIME: LATE NOON- 1 HOUR UNTIL SUNSET ~Gumshoe (The Sheriff)~ "Alright!" Gumshoe pumped his fist a bit. "It's a little late today, so maybe another day you can stop by." Gumshoe jogged off towards somewhere unseen, but from his trail, the barber shop was going to be his stop. ~James Harper~ James listened to Vanitas' words of concern. He walked over to him, and switched books, reading what Vanitas had. "This... is getting serious. I didn't think we'd find anything like this..." James looked out the window. It seemed he was running low on time to visit the playhouse. With this new information, he was more afraid than ever. "Vanitas. I think we need to stop for today. I have to do what my entry told me- I really don't want to end up being followed like this guy..." James took the remaining three glowing books, and two with him, placing the other in Vanitas' hands. He returned the previously read novels, and started down the stairs. "I really want to get to the bottom of this, Vanitas. I don't want anyone to get hurt. I'll help you investigate, but I'll be even more careful about following the entries now more than ever."
  6. ~The Sheriff~ "Woah!" The bulky man belted, as debris fell from somewhere he didn't see. He stumbled and tripped, feeling some of the rubble entrap his hair. Pulling as hard as he could, he stood back up to see the thief's leg caught under the debris. "I really gotta get a haircut..." He noticed around him now were more people than he interacts with in a day. "I hope all this attention doesn't cause another dock in my pay... Anyway!" He walked over to the thief, and tied a rope around his hands. "You're going to the station." Stumbling and rubbing his head, he walked over to Varius, with the thief in hand. "I saw what you did. You have a lot of strength! We could use someone like you. My name is Gumshoe. Lots of people call me the Sheriff, but I'm more of a detective." He looked to the side, to a horse standing nearby and it's assumed rider. "You too as well! We don't have many horses in our ranks, and we're pretty low on staff. If you make up your mind, come to our building!" ~James Harper~ "You're amazing, ya know?" Those words resonated inside James upon hearing them- he didn't receive compliments often. He looked at Vanitas and smiled somewhat awkwardly. "Th-thanks!" James continued to listen to Vanitas, talking about his thoughts on the Journal- and James thought he was right. Why did the Journal always have an empty entry upon sleep, but was written in the next morning? How does it know what is going to make society happy? "I... never questioned the Journal before.. I always thought, 'who wouldn't want to be happy?' and followed it anyway, even when it said dumb things like 'eat one extra corn chip.'" James had recovered, and was speaking much more steadily than before. "Anyone else say anything to you?" James stopped upon seeing the glowing items glaring in front of him now. He hurriedly grabbed two, throwing one at Vanitas. "There's three more, but we will start with these. The Keepers. James began skimming through, picking out key statements and sentences. 'Avid followers of The Journal. Created by our Lord. Not human.' There wasn't a lot written on this book, which was surprising for it's size. In fact, most of the pages were empty, and the words were hastily written. The Lord...? Who would that be...? James looked to another book and picked it out.
  7. I'm about to post Your Journal Entry for Day One is: Befriend the servant and his friend. You should find them rather easily.
  8. Aaaa, I'll be busy tomorrow too. I'm sorry everyone D: I'll update when I can!
  9. Accepted! I'm sorry I've been busy today guys, I'll uplate tomorrow
  10. The sheriff slouched in relaxation after hearing the confession of innocence. "I see," he spoke, in a much more soothing voice. Sorry to have- HOLD ON! STOP!" The Sheriff belched out a loud order, pointing to behind Varius. A thief! The sheriff chased after the brigand, who had stolen what looked like an amulet from a noble woman. The chase led the sheriff around the corner, and out of sight of Varius and the other onlookers. ~James Harper~ "Diaries..?" James took a breather- he knew exactly what he was talking about. The Journal. Everyone had one- why did no one question it until today? "You mean the Journal, right?" James walked briskly from one end of the aisle to the other, peering over the both sides. He poked his eyes through the gaps in the shelves to be sure there was none in aisles close. "I'm.. an avid follower of the Journal. It's always led me to optimize my day, without fail. I'm not sure why you're researching into it, but I'm willing to help. Knowing the Journal a bit better seems like something that would benefit." James took a big breath, almost forgetting to warn Vanitas. "Don't tell anyone what you're about to see." "Locati Libri: Journal" James felt the air again, this time stumbling from it's power. Locati spells with a larger radius always hit James harder than usual. This meant what they were looking for would have to be a bit far from their current position. He felt dizzy, and stumbled back onto the bookshelf behind him. He opened his eyes, and looked around. What looked like three floors above, there were several glowing lights within- what seemed to be- feet of each other. "There. Three stories above us. Follow me." James forced himself off the counter, and began stumbling towards the stairs. It would take a bit to recover.
  11. Zexion would probably kill Axel, first. Ienzo would probably struggle with it much like Light did at first in the anime.
  12. I've dealt with a lot of Mother Gothel type people in my real life, that's why I appreciate her in the movie. Those kind of people are real, and the movie did a good job reflecting that,
  13. Lea. Chakrams to knock things out of trees for food, fire for cold nights and for cooking, and... well he's also cute.
  14. Now in the lobby, James allowed himself to take a quick glance at the dimly lit sign above the information desk. It read INFORMATION AND CHECKING. If James was to be honest, there was more need for information than there were for checking out books. The library had seemed to be losing popularity recently, possible due to the playhouse. Still, there were a few visitors every day-and regulars as well. Regulars usually being Vanitas, who had happened to walk in mere moments after James pondered on the sign. He wanted to give him a wave, but it seemed like he had disappeared faster than he could get him to notice James. James took a deep breath. "Locati Vanitas" James felt a sligt wind picking up from under him as the spell began working. A few seconds later, he could see a glowing in the shape of a male body through the many bookshelves and aisles. James smirked, and picked up a stray book that was needing a placement in that same section anyhow. Pretending to happen upon the man, James appeared shocked before Vanitas. "Hey there, Vanitas! Good to see you." Meanwhile "Hey, stop that!" A sheriff, a bit stocky with brown, straight hair about the length of a horses mane, came to reprimand Varis. He halted, but resumed. "Is there a reason you're causing such an alert?"
  15. So sorry Vaude! Didn't realize I hadn't written an entry for you! Kh13 is working now so I can write one for both of you Vincent: Upon waking, stay inside for at least 5 minutes. Fennel: Should you see a horse, Ignore it. Do not interact with it. Side NOte: Journal entries may seem kind of unrelated to the big picture at times, but here's something to remember! The entries are meant to optimize happiness for everyone, not just yourself So something silly like staying away from a road for 3 minutes could help someone else fulfill their entry, etc.Day 2 Entries will be really wild!
  16. Accepted! No Journal Entry for you today, only because for some reason KH13 is on the fritz for me today. You can make one up if you want! So Sorry!
  17. I can't blelieve we sent hannah into the spook house...
  18. Just to let you guys know, Day 1 is gonna be slow, but Day 2 will be more exciting! Some of your character entries inspired me for some exploration in a few matters
  19. Hmm. I think it would be best to sign up in two weeks, that way the In-Game Time can move forward without you accidently missing out on something, or accidently ignoring Journal entries, stuff like that. If you want, you can go ahead and follow the topics, that way you don't forget that you wanted to sign up?
