(Journal Entries will be listed at the bottom of the OP) Blinding brilliance entered the darkened chamber through a single aperture in the gently waving wafting curtains, which barred the majority of the sunlight. The fact that the sun was at such an angle entering the room meant it was past noon, thanks to this window being on the west side of the building. Outside, the kids would be tossing rocks along the road with sticks, the local Nunnery would be singing their afternoon Hymnals, and the playhouse would be filled with rushing thespians hoping to shove in last minute memorization as the crew set up the props on the raked stage. James Harper, though, would be late once more in waking himself up and preparing the library for visitors. It's lucky most of the Scholars have the keys to do so themselves. With a yawn, the youth peeled himself off the mattress, and gave his closet a uncaring stare. "Why do you have to be so far away...?" Shirtless, James stood, walking his way towards the twin doors that opened to his clothing storage, and picked out the shirt that seemed to be the least stuffy- it was a hotter day after all, and overheating was not on his to-do list. That is, unless the Journal said it was. The Journal! Shoving the shirt onto himself, James stumbled over to the bedside cabinet, and opened the somewhat weary Journal. Visit the Playhouse four hours after waking. Heh, simple enough, James thought. He readied the remainder of his clothes, and walked out his chamber door, and onto the library floor. --------------------- Journal Entries: James Harper: Visit the Playhouse four hours after waking. Vanitas: Donate to the Nunnery. Veran Sterben: Stop by the lighthouse. Aya Elizabeth Everus: Do not lie. Varis Suron: Assert yourself to law enforcement. Jynn Venas: Double check the gate leading towards the woods- consider standing guard for 5 minutes after the sun leaves the sky

Hello! My name is Alter-Ego, and I've just granted you all a marvelous gift! The chance to start again. Together, this time! Someone once said to me: Oh dear, magnificent Alter-Ego- I wish with all my heart that I could have a new life! I've made so many mistakes, and I've experienced way too much sadness for one person to endure! Please- let me start over! Being the benevolent leader that I am, of course I listened to their words! I also thought, maybe I should let everyone start over, let everyone have a chance to remove their unhappiness and strife. Unfortunately- due to the curse of free will, and my inability to REMOVE it, strife and chaos will be persistent in any life I try to give you. That's why I've created the Journal! You all have with you in this new land, a journal. Everyday something new will appear in the journal, something that will tell you what you need to do on that day to optimize your happiness! If someone chooses not to listen to their Journal, chaos could ensue. That's why I've also created my very own set of dedicated followers called The Keepers! They'll be sure that everyone follows their Journal to optimize the happiness of everyone! Of course- I'll only bring out The Keepers if it really becomes needed. I hope all of you have a great day! Video game characters, books, movies, even OCs if you wish. They've all been given a chance- or forced to, depending on who you are, to live a life their own. It's a bit different, this time! In this world, all your memories of your old life are gone- all you can remember is this new, made up life you now have, and your strange drive to listen to what the Journal tells you. Thanks to the graceful- or forceful- entity known as Alter-Ego. The setting is Renaissance Era, in a town called Loren. Magic and such- it exists, but is feared. Please be safe when practicing magic, and be careful who you show it to! It's not illegal, but it is scary! If someone thinks you're threatening them, you can be jailed! What else need you know? Well, I'll give you this- Alter-Ego can only create. She cannot destroy. ------ RULES! KH13 Rules Apply No God-Modding! No explicit scenes- nothing adult. Romance is allowed, but see the rule above. Ask me if you're unsure if something isn't allowed, or if you have any ideas! Keep in mind- you can use any character from anything! This is a new life for them- their memories are gone! Is it possible to get them back, though....? Hmm... If your character is animal based, that's okay! Strange creatures and the like are commonplace- but beware! You may experience some prejudice. You can have up to three characters. Remember, OCs are allowed! Regarding the Journal, for the most part, I'll post what your Journals say, but there can be times where you make them up. I've been wanting to do a Sonic RP for awhile now (And my last attempt was a huge failure- only one sign up) So, here I am asking everyone- what do you guys want out of a Sonic the Hedgehog RP? I have a few ideas, but I'm wanting to hear from you guys as to what you'd like.

A wild Pokémon appears! Pasco is about as normal as the world gets. You got your malls, your arcades and parks, your schools, the works. A bit boring, even. There are some who would disagree- those who have stumbled upon some strange creatures who look awfully familiar... Pokémon! Everyone knows the series- a collection of video games based around the capturing and battling of partners who you bond with and work together- usually to win the Pokémon League! But, what are they doing here? Most people seem to not be aware of these creatures appearing- this could be because no one knows, or everyone wants to keep them secret. What would the world do with creatures like these- ones that possess such power? Would the world fall into Chaos should the wrong person find one? That's why you must never tell anyone. Keep them secret and safe. Our story begins the morning of the day these creatures first show up- in very very small numbers. ------ You get it! Basically, you have to keep the Pokémon secret and safe- but how hard could it be? Surely a Pichu can't be too much trouble- until it accidentally shorts out your power. Rules- KH13 Rules Apply At the beginning, only one Pokémon can be found per person. This'll change as it goes along, as they will appear much more frequently. These Pokémon are to be kept secret from everyone- except very close friends or accidental discoveries. Be careful who you tell! Keep in mind that the Pokémon series- both the anime and the games- exist in this world, so people know what Pokémon are, but all believe them to be fictional. Romance is permitted but keep it PG-13 Remember- Pokémon are powerful! They could attack if you scare them or make them mad- be nice to them, and try to keep them out of trouble! The plot will center around people who may use Pokémon for their own uses- such as rising to power or causing a war- and also how they started showing up in the first place.
