  1. All of the games. Not just those two. ALL OF THEM! JK, just pick whichever looks like more your style. Kid Icarus has a lot of action, but that's mostly it. Tales games are known for their decent gameplay, wonderful stories, and difficult puzzles. Your call.
  2. Welcome to the site, and I totally never thought of that, but it makes lots of sense.
  3. (OOC: Why of course you are! I just found it funny because both Mariah and now Alexis are in romantically sticky situations, Mariah more so than Lexi. Also, did you not see Troy's attack? It's okay if you just want to say that it fused with Rebekah's Prism Rain in taking out the shadow figure, though. If you'd like Elie to have a more legitimate and not already taken romantic interest, or if maybe you'd like to have someone for Tudi then I'd be happy to speak with you via private message to figure something out. I only have two characters, anyway. There are already a lot of characters here, though, and I don't want to bog down the story. Just realized that the guy with Siax has been missing for a while. Anyways, I could probably even make an evil female for Sumer to be with, using Maleficent or something like that. Just some thoughts. Just send me a message if you're interested.)
  4. Ethan smiled. Today was a great day to be him. He wondered for a moment why Scott had gone after James and Alexis, but then dismissed it from his mind and went back to eating his pizza and watching a movie in the comforts of the hotel connected to the spa. He loved having money, especially since he hardly had to do a thing for it. Instead of cheering him up, Keilani's pep-talk made Troy feel even worse. He didn't deserve a girl like her if this was all he was good for. Her kiss on the fore-head just rubbed it in, Troy taking it as a sign that Keilani saw him as little more than a child. He got up, a fire in his eyes, and summoned his keyblade once more. He saw Rebekah come back through the clearing and fire off a Prism Rain, which he complemented with Ragnarok (the Birth by Sleep version).
  5. Yep. We would all die a lot. Eventually we might defeat him then shout in victory. Following that, Joshua would chose to fight us again, this time using up to 20% of his power. All hope would be lost. That would be amazing. Read what I said about Joshua. But worse.
  6. That's silly. No character in Kingdom Hearts ever dies permanently. I'm sure they'll think of a loop-hole to bring Xion back as well.
  7. (OOC: Oops, I guess it kind of was. My bad. I was trying to give an excuse for you to not get hit while making it to where at least something that Sumer did would work, but I didn't want Troy to go down like a pansy. Also, you should have realized by now, Always, that when you create a character everyone's gonna want to be with her. Just saying. I'd say blame all of the attention on your amazing writing and general awesomeness.) Troy took in a pained breath, then leaned his head away from Keilani where he coughed up some blood. Turning back to her he said "Seems like half the time you see me I'm all beat to heck. Some keyblade wielder I am. I should probably just let Ventus take control from now on, you know? Maybe then I could finally do something right. Thanks for healing me up, by the way. I should be able to get back in the fray in a few seconds, once the spell kicks in fully."
  8. (OOC: Damion, Troy pushed Felix out of the way. Please edit if you would be so kind. Thank you!)
  9. (OOC: I don't know that the villains should win over all, but they should definitely win sometimes. If the villains never won, the heroes would be unnecessary.) Troy ran over and pushed Felix out of the way, taking the brunt of the flaming wind and being launched into a nearby tree, the air knocked out of him and his body covered in burns. He sank to the ground, not dead, but definitely down for the count. He only hoped that saving Felix would allow him an opening in which to defeat Sumer along with Seichi and Alex, and that seeing him in this condition didn't make Keilani think any worse of him or cause her to much emotional pain.
  10. (OOC: Ah, pardons. I took "thrust her staff into his stomach" as if she were saying that it hit him in the stomach.) The flaming tornado had combined with Seichi and Alex's attacks, and Troy wondered what damage, if any, had been dealt to Sumer.
  11. (You can't do that second part. You could say that she thrusted her own staff towards his stomach, however. No worries, I used to character control on accident all the time.) Troy, for his part, created a tornado of his own that combined with Felix's blazing one to become all the more powerful.
  12. It depends on the type of team, but yeah, sounds good to me.
  13. Yep, I'm rather addicted to water myself. It really helps you to stay alive, ya know? jk
  14. It depends on the type of team, but yeah, sounds good to me.
  15. (OOC: I laughed so hard at that one.) Troy saw Rebekah rushing away and felt a tug to go that direction to from Ven. "It's Callum, that guy with Vanitas, isn't it?" Troy asked. "He's my responsibility! He's part me!" replied Ventus. "No," answered Troy, facing Sumer once more after getting up from being blown back by his attack, "Vanitas is everyone's problem, not just yours. Besides, clashing against him may just cause more harm than good for now. Let's trust that the others will be able to handle things and just focus on the enemy before us right now. We have to help Seichi, Alex, and Felix defeat this guy." Troy then turned to Felix and shouted "Come on! Let's join them in the attack!"
  16. (OOC: Lol, Always actually said that.) Ethan smirked. "You do that, perv. I'm gonna chill here for a bit more then probably go grab some pizza and watch a movie. I'll see ya tomorrow for training, right?" he responded. As Ethan was saying these things, he grabbed his phone from beside the tub he was in and text a number he hadn't for a very long time. "Hey Lex," it read, "meet me later on when you tire of boys. You'll know where to find me."
  17. "Sounds easy enough. Just you and me at the end, yeah? If I win, then I escape with my life and can do whatever I want. If you win, you get to accomplish your goal of ridding the world of inhabitors altogether," responded Ethan. He had absolutely no intention of allowing it to get to that point, however. He would take out Scott when he was at his weakest. Right after Scott had trained Alexis and himself to fight even better than they could now, Ethan would get Lexi to help him take Scott down, telling James that Scott had turned on them and tried to attack Lexi herself so that he would join them. Ethan had no issues with most of the inhabitors, so he'd let them live so long as they didn't go interfering in whatever he wanted to do. Some of them, though, would have to die, and by who else but the lord of death?
  18. Ethan smiled at Scott. "Sounds good to me. We've got a lot to talk about, after all." Turning to James he said "Yeah, go ahead and grab the money from my tab and you two have a wonderful time. It's always nice to make a new friend, especially if it makes an old friend of mine so happy." On the inside, the whole display was making Ethan sick. That James kid had just met Alexis and now this? It was nearly soft core porn for heaven's sakes! Mostly though he was just frustrated that it was with Lex. He would never admit it, especially to himself, but he actually had feelings for Alexis, as absurd as it may sound. On the other side of things, everything was finally going his way. He had just made a new ally, was going to be taught by the best how to fight even better than ever before, and he'd met a new weapon to be wielded by them all, the key to which was Lexi. Oh, Ethan definitely remembered this kid from the news two years ago. He had been a massive threat and only ever died or lost because of the feelings he had for Mariah, that girl Ethan himself had faced just recently and the reason he had gone to the spa where all of these other wonderful things had occurred. He supposed he should thank her actually. Mariah had made all of this possible, after all. Now that James didn't care for her and had not one but two inhabitors he would be a very powerful weapon for them to use. Look out world, it's our turn to be the victors.
  19. Ethan opened one eye and responded under his breath as James drew ever closer. "Hey, I'm all in. We'll train together and Lex here can use her feminine whiles on that one over there. I don't know of a single straight male who's resisted her before." Then opening both eyes and looking to James he spoke in a much louder tone "Hey there man! No use in waiting out there in the air. You wanna hang with us then go grab one of the swimming trunks from that store and hop in. No worries, I'll cover the cost, just say it's on Ethan's tab, 'kay?" Ethan smiled his most cheerful smile, which still came out as sort of a smirk, and gestured him towards the shop within the spa. (OOC: Damion, is the overthrow plan we discussed earlier still going down or do you want to change our plans?)
  20. (OOC: Lol, actually getting rid of alcohol poisoning would be more in line with Esuna or the like, but a cure spell works fine. Also, what if Ethan runs along with it, knowing full well that Alexis is manipulating James and trying to play it all off as an older brother type figure to James?) "Yeah Scott, give us the deets on how you took down one of the largest and most powerful law organizations of our time," added Ethan, eager to distract from the fact that he was having a hard time not looking at Lex. His legitimate interest in the story also reinforced this.
  21. "Of course you did. Wonderful. Well, that's one major thorn in our sides down, and a lot more tiny ones to go. They probably shouldn't be as hard individually, but somehow they always find each other in the nick of time and team up. Okay, okay, I know we don't play fair, but they're supposed to be the "good guys", ya know? how about they face us in even numbers, huh?" responded Ethan, relatively unfazed that Scott had joined him and his lady friend in the tub, but slightly worried that she might bail. You know what they say, three's a crowd, after all. He hoped that Scott's statement about the CIA would interest her enough to keep her nearby, though. Troy used a quick Thundaga towards the armored man, but kept his distance for now, deciding it was best to see your foe's full potential before charging in.
  22. (OOC: Awesome! You're back! It's been so awkward here on campus with you gone. I go to text you about grabbing lunch or whatever and then have to catch myself.) "Hey there Scotty boy. I'd like you to meet Alexis here. If memory serves your two inhabitors got along pretty well, yes?" Ethan responded to Scott. Turning to Alexis he said, "Yeah, the brats just don't know when to quit. I mean, so I rob a few banks? What's the big deal?! You ought to get me, right?"
  23. (OOC: None of us have a problem with music as a general rule, and we certainly like music in the background of movies and video games, but the problem isn't the music, it's that the two characters are having an arguement or spat or whatever in musical form. It would be rather silly for Sora to sing to Xemnas, for instance. Music is fine. Background music is fine as well. Two people who share strong feelings of mutual dislike singing against/with each other? Not so much.)
  24. Ethan's back arched into the current, then relaxed, feeling even more comfortable than before. "Ah Lex, vexing as always. Glad to see it really is you and that you're not just a trick my eyes are showing me, not that I mind what my eyes are showing me, of course." Ethan turned the temperature up a little in the tub with his abilities (it was getting luke-warm, anyway) and finally opened his eyes fully, taking in the visage of his old "friend". "The Lord of Death himself, my dear. Who else? What I want to know is, have you been having any issues with any of the others? There are sooo many do-gooders out there to deal with. It's like they're ants at a picnic."
  25. (OOC: It just seemed really juxtaposed to me. If you're staring someone down and telling them they are mentally insane, are you going to start singing a song with them in the next thirty seconds? I certainly hope not. On the Today Show and at the concerts it made sense, but this is "real life" stuff that's happening, not a stage production, and people don't randomly break out in song, no matter how fun that may be.)
