Hmmm I'm hoping for some kind of lingering will or sentiment! In both BBS and KH2, we had a some form of a remnant (Vanitas and Terra). So maybe something like an Eraqus Remnant or Xion Remnannt! Eraqus Remnant could either be a nobody (since he had lost his heart) or his mind/soul still existant in his keyblade armor or something. The Xion Remnant could be like a nightmare formed from the darkness of her memories that are still existant within Sora kinda like the Red-Eyes Unknown!

The heartless that was dubbed "Red-Eyes" in BBS was just a powerful and big heartless that dwelled in the RoD! The Figure in the Black Coat is a nightmare created from Sora's memories that was also dubbed "Red-Eyes" as well. There isn't any indication of a connection.......but hey this is Kingdom Hearts we're talking about.......who knows???
