Cyler -- Criminal Underworld -- Biromoore
"You guys are a lot more boring than I thought you were going to be." Cyler commented after the arrival of Miss Universe the Nephalem and his ensuing philosophical debate with boring Iron Man. "Listen folks, all this talk of war and peace doesn't mean a thing. Men will do what they want, regardless of who's in power. The chaos of war just gives them an excuse. Personally, not a fan of excuses. Better to just be honest with ourselves if you ask me. I kill because it's fun, and I gain more power. And with more power, comes more fun killing. A vicious cycle." Cyler spoke, his eyes darting from person to person, watching each of them. Each so confident. I'm not going to die today. That's what everyone thinks. Cyler enjoyed proving people wrong almost as much as killing, especially since they tended to double up. "Anyway, back on topic. I'm going to kill you and take your power. Let's get started."
Cyler stomped the ground, and channeled Sting of Winter through his boot. Ice spread across the ground, a hundred yard radius of a ground of pure ice. Limiting mobility was always the correct first step to a battle royale. A demonic suit appeared around him, striped orange and red across his body, with thick gauntlets around his forearm and a helm of blue and brown. Not the most color coordinated suit out there, but he didn't have the ability to change the appearance. That was the most disappointing thing about this ability really. Now cloaked in the Valkyrie suit, he leaped backwards. His feet touched the wall of a nearby building. Then he kicked off with incredible strength, sending the wall crumbling inward as Cyler surged forward, a flying punch headed straight for Zanza.
Kinzoku -- New Empire -- Siege of Kaipora
Kinzoku gestured to her mages. "You head him guys. Stay at the gates, no one goes in, no one goes out. Not without explicit orders from me, Isaac or pretty boy whose name also starts with an I." She leaned in closer to the group of mages and whispered quietly. "If you end up killing our own men, char the body beyond recognition then make it look like an accident." She advised. Then she stood upright again and gave them a broad smile. "I'll be off then! Be good boys, I'll be back for you." She blew them a kiss, then skipped away, headed back for the hatch that she had found before.
She got out of the ship, then leaped off the top. She dived gracefully down, the wind tearing at her flawless skin, her dark hair billowing behind her as she fell. It felt so good. But unfortunately, it would have to end. Business time after all. Her ingots swung out of her backpack and she deftly manipulated them into a parachute and harness. The wind caught rather quickly, and she began to fall more slowly. Now the people on the walls were beginning to notice her. A little late unfortunately. Ingots from her bag floated out, stretched, and sharpened. Then she pushed her hand forward, and they flew forward. Bullseye. The guards fell off the walls and onto the ground as Kinzoku landed. Perfect.
Ryonne -- Messiah -- Siege of Kaipora
Ryonne watched the ship come increasingly close to the town of Kaipora. Things were still quiet, but he had spotted an advance agent jump from the ship and into the town. He took a deep breath, then put the binoculars back in the seat pocket. He needed to hurry, things were going to get bad, and quick. The Swordsman hopped back onto his speeder, and roared into the night, circling around the town of Kaipora, awaiting the perfect opportunity to strike.
Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- Flight back from Venas-ville
"Tequila. Thanks I appreciate it. Real glad that King Prude hasn't banned alcohol. Seems like the type that would approve prohibition." Cobica commented, taking a sip from the glass after the AI poured it for him. When Jynn's voice came on the air again, Cobica replied quickly. "I'll just pretend to know what kind of plane that is, sound good?" He said. The Half-Breed took another sip of the tequila. It was pretty good. Not the best out there, but pretty good. "I'm pretty sure that Yev isn't about to say no to a bunch of state-of-the-art fighters." He concluded the reply.
Stark -- The North -- Siege of Hylvania
The Young Wolf rapidly turned, blocking the strike with his blade. He held the sword in place with both his hands, gaining proper footing before pushing away, hoping to send Zane away. Stark knew that this man had some impressive abilities, an otherworldly being. Notttt good. Stark gritted his teeth. He didn't want to transform yet, though that would certainly give him the edge that he needed to dominate this encounter. But he wanted to keep track of the battlefield... New players had appeared, giant mechs, an armored man... The huge ship that had appeared was evidently working to evac the civilians. Good, good. The North's artillery had switched from AA to standard cannons, and were doing much more important work barraging the ground troops and mechs. After all, the huge ship that had appeared had brought the focus onto it, so the artillery could actually properly defend the walls. The engineers that weren't working on the guns were reinforcing the walls and rebuilding some of the turrets that had already been destroyed. Nym seemed to be doing well, which was the best news of all. He couldn't lose his sister, not after all that had happened, all that she had done for him. Stark looked back to his opponent, and focused in on the battle. Taking out the commander of a battle was the easiest route to ending it. He surged forward, and slashed downward powerfully with his blade.
The North lieutenant looked to the man from the ship. He shook his head. "Sir, we are the North. The North does not bow out the second things get bad. Evacuate the civilians and Seraphim Order troops, and if things are still going badly, then I'll consider listening to you. But for now, unless Lord Stark or Lady Nymeria tell me otherwise, I will fight and die for these people." He said, then gave a salute to the Messiah officer. Then he snapped his fingers, and barked an order to his own division of snipers. "Keep at it men! Take out the soldiers that pose a threat! Leave the mechs and vehicles to the artillery!"
Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade -- Langerdon Apartment
Neena smiled when Henry hulked out. She knew there was a reason she had allied with him opposed to the dozens of other rebel stragglers. That savvy anger the boiled underneath his calm surface. It was satisfying. Neena flicked her glance to Ariana. "You have ten seconds to get out of my house before I start shooting. And I'll use exploding arrows this time around." She said harshly. Neena was unsure why she was going to let Ariana go. She was an assassin, a crusader. When it came to her kill list, Ariana was pretty damn high. But... There was something about how pathetic this woman was. Neena couldn't bring herself to do it.
