That's a lot of Vanitas. However, do you think that Vanitas's voice wouldn't be so great if it wasn't for Sora? Like the reason Vanitas's voice is awesome is due to Haley sounding the complete opposite of Sora. If Haley never voiced Sora and just voiced Vanitas would you still like Vanitas's voice?Or did you pick Vanitas because he just has a good voice in general?

Which voice work by Haley Joel Osment (Sora) did you enjoy the most in Kingdom Hearts? Sora (KH1), Pre-puberty voice Sora (CoM, KH2) is mostly regular voice for Sora. Sora (DDD) same voice but higher pitch. Vanitas (BBS) opposite of Sora in tone, attitude, and deepness. .

EXACTLY! Riku's gameplay was cool in the beginning since he didn't play like Sora and he was given so many sleights at the start. However, he gets old late game since: He can't learn any new sleights/ablities You can only heal with King Mickey card Can't customize your deck. Only one weapon (or in this case just Soul Eater card). So basically early game he was cool at the start but dull at the end. Sora on the other hand kept getting interesting game play wise the more floors you went up.

Yeah but doesn't it get boring playing as Riku end game? I mean Riku is literally handed all of his weapons, sleights, abilities, partners, etc after you complete the 1st basement. I mean for me it was terrible level grinding with Riku with just his few moves.Anyway for me story-wise I'm going with Riku because acting angry, angsty, and playing the puppet/pawn to the whole Organization did appeal to me.Gameplay I'm giving it to Sora since there was more variety and it was harder to get bored with his gameplay.

Whose story did you enjoy the most in CoM? Both storywise as well as gameplay wise.

Oh no I wasn't trying to say that his development was bad. It just wasn't my cup of tea or to my liking/taste. It's just that this was a thread about favorite bad guys and seeing your profile just reminded me how much of a villain CoM Axel really was in the beginning.

I see why you think that because of Days, KH2, and his "redemption" with becoming Lea in DDD. However, I still remember the badass/villian he was in CoM (particularly in the original where he was even the first character to swear!). Playing mind games with Sora and company. Murdering Vexen and later tricking the Replica into cut down Zexion. Faking his own death (before it became a little overused). Betraying Marluxia. And heck overall not knowing whose side this guy was actually on throughout the entire game. However thanks to Days and more importantly KH2 this character really vanished in my eyes. He became softer and overly attached to friend-ship which was a very big disappointment to me. This is why Xigbar became one of my favorites since sort of carried what CoM Axel left behind.

And here I was expecting Axel from you. However it's nice to know that we have the same favorite character. Unless of course you are being funny/sarcastic. Anyway mine are: 1. Xemnas 2. Xigbar 3. Young Xehanort. So yeah basically all Xehanorts....

He was. However, based on his scenes in KH 2.5 you really couldn't see it that much...

And that just mind boggles me sometimes.Sora gains so much experience and learns so much throughout his journey yet with each new installment it seems like he just throws everything he learned in the previous journey straight into the toilet. CoM and KH2 I could sort of let slide due to the whole memory thing. However, DDD there was no excuse for his attitude.Either the developers are trying to flesh out Sora's personality with each new installment or they just don't want him to have any sort of character development. Or maybe its a combination of both.

This isn't counting those connected him, Nobodies, or clones. I mean just between: KH1, CoM, KH2, and DDD. Of these versions which do feel Sora put his brains to their best efforts?

Wait didn't David play Young Xehanort in BBS? In that tiny little cutscene at the very beginning?

I'm STILL riding on the Billy Zane train after all these years. I appreciate Epcar's work and that he stayed with the franchise however the difference in how they play Ansem SoD is astounding. Epcar does however make a good Terranort.
