Good base. I could be really nit picky and dissect it, but that is just me. I do like the style, and honestly when first starting what matters is how you feel about it, making manga is not about just liking manga, or being able to draw, it is about being passionate and confident about what you do, and if you feel like making changes that is up to you, make it your own.

It may just be something he likes doing. I do the same thing with Seven but it tends to be less obvious.
One of my favorite artists is going to be so close for an autograph and yet. . . I cannot get one dang that sucks
I kinda prefer the I.5 cover better, the II.5 is a little cluttered and seems to lack a focal point, but alas I can see a cool wall scroll with it.
