Was a September a good choose for releasing KH -HD 1.5 ReMIX- to you?
*choice, not choose And meh. Could be better, I think it's a little later than I would've liked, but better late than never.
-
What moments in the Kingdom Hearts series did you find epic?
-Hollow Bastion, The End of the World, The World that Never Was, and the Keyblade Graveyard are all filled with epic moments. -Axel's sacrifice. -Roxas's realization as he sees Sora for the first time.
-
Are you more excited now that we know the exact day KH -HD 1.5 ReMIX- is coming out in English?
Pretty much same old levels of excitement, which is admittedly pretty high.
-
Did KH13 or any other kh fansite affect your view on the series?
It hasn't particularly affected how I view the series. People are entitled to their own opinions about things, and I try not to allow those opinions to affect my feelings on characters or events.

Least Favorite Heartless
The Pink Concerto from 358/2 Days. I hate it's whole "set path" routine.
-
What do you prefer when there are multiple playable characters?
BBS method. I like experiencing each character's story and progression individually, even if that does mean retreading familiar territory.
-
Are you going to pre-order KH HD -1.5 ReMIX- just because of the pre-order bonus?
I wasn't gonna pre-order, but this pushed me there. I was going to get the game full-price anyway, might as well have a bonus for doing so!

Info on the Pre-Order Bonus: The Artbook
God, a Kingdom Hearts book akin to the Hyrule Historia would be fantastic! And the way I see it is this; I was going to buy this game for full price anyway. Pre-ordering and getting something as a bonus, even if it's a small something, is fine by me.

HD 1.5 ReMIX to release on September 10 in NA & September 13 in Europe/PAL territories + pre-order bonus
Just preordered! The art book persuaded me to do it, haha.

I hope that Nomura doesn't troll us
That wouldn't be trolling, that would be deliberate bad business. And when I put it that way, it almost seems like Square will do it now...

EA and Disney to team up on Star Wars games
So the Star Wars franchise has been pawned by Disney to EA, who will delegate game development to their own developers. One giant passing another giant a task for their thralls to accomplish so that the giants' may gain. On a less sour and dramatic note, GIVE ME BATTLEFRONT III. DO IT. MAKE THE DAMN GAME, HAVE IT COINCIDE WITH NEW LOCATIONS FROM THE NEW FILM. BOOM, SYNERGY, I JUST DID YOUR JOBS FOR YOU!

Do you think the Wii U is truly a next-generation console on par with the PlayStation 4 and next Xbox?
Technically speaking, it's next gen. It's more powerful hardware than the Wii, has new features and games, and has Nintendo's full attention. Unfortunately if that's true then they've managed to launch a next gen console that already feels like it's last gen. The hardware is about to be outstripped in every capacity, the second screen is the console implementation of an idea that existed with the DS and Sony's remote play, but what speaks the most to me is the games. The system has them, yes, but they offer me only comparable experiences I can already get on the Wii, the PS3, or the DS; things I already own. It lacks that killer app and definition in the current market, feeling more like an answer to Nintendo's current gen rivals than their upcoming platforms. I wouldn't mind owning a Wii U, but it still feels like a halfway upgrade to my Wii than a full-fledged next gen system. I've never heard this, but it would be interesting if they did. It all depends on how well the PS4/Durango are received in comparison to the Wii U; Nintendo proved with the Wii that they still are able to control the market through innovation rather than sheer power. Hmm. Being the best of outdated technology isn't precisely something to crow over. Here's the PS4 specs for comparison: http://www.shacknews.com/article/77974/comparing-ps3-and-ps4-specs-what-it-means-for-everyday RAM, which many developers have said is what is holding them back this generation, is quadruple that of the Wii U's. Because RAM determines so much in terms of the in-game experience, the more they have to work with the better.

How Would You Feel if
You just described something that is in no way Kingdom Hearts, so I wouldn't be interested.

I Hope This Doesn't Happen With PS4 Launch
I honestly don't remember hearing about these incidents with the PS3's launch. Sounds like the sort of appalling things you hear about on Black Friday.

Platinum Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix
I've been planning to get these platinums since before we knew they existed!

Sony has some intiguing game announcements planned
Looking forward to Sony's E3, I think they've got the most momentum going into it. Here's hoping they don't lose it

Microsoft: Next Xbox will work even when your Internet doesn’t
Good. The question I'm now worried about is how long it will last. Microsoft and Sony may be saying their consoles will work offline, but some game developers might be looking into the possibility of replicating the sort of DRM you see on computers on their own. An example: my computer works fine offline, but I can't play the new SimCity unless I'm connected to the internet. That was EA's decision, not the computer manufacturer's. Oh well. Good for Xbox folks, I'll probably get one for Halo one day; I'm still rooting for the PS4 at this point.
-
By the end of this year, which of the next-generation consoles do you plan to own?
None this year, probably none next year too. My PS3 has too many backlogged games left for me to play before I move on. I'll eventually get a PS4 I think.
-
How has 2013 been for you so far?
Could be better, could be worse.
-
Do you miss games having large instruction manuals with the story and tons of detailed information?
The kid in me sure does.

Which is the best console-based gaming network right now?
For social stuff, Xbox Live is the best. But in terms of value, I give it to PSN all the way. Even without PS+ the sales have been excellent and Sony has been better about supporting unique downloadable games. It's still slow and occasionally clunky, but so was the first Xbox Live. As for Nintendo, I can't vouch for the Wii U's Miiverse/Nintendo Network. I'm sure it works fine, but online experiences aren't what I think of when I think of Nintendo.

Are you at all disturbed by the amount of violence in today's games?
I don't mind, but then again most of the games I play aren't super violent. However, they all do have some element of violence in them, which is another whole discussion altogether. I do think that this question is going to come up again as the next generation launches, and for the first time I'm wondering how much gore/violence is too much. Will the next level of photorealistic graphics encourage more violence, or will the visceral depiction of the acts start to turn more people off? I'm truly curious to see what happens.

What was your reaction when
Totally shocked, but in the best kind of way.

Kingdom Hearts movie/TV series
Yeaaaaaaaah...no.

How often do you actually turn off your computer?
I put my laptop to sleep and shut it down regularly, my pc even more so simply because I use it less.
