  1. "I agree with Neena, "Getting to the rooftops would be great, but unless you can find a ladder or spring boots nearby, we have no way of getting up there that won't leave us wide open." Braxen gave Derik's hand a hearty handshake, "Pleased to meet'cha! So... which way to the beacon? I'm a little near-sighted right now, so I can't tell."
  2. Braxen and Penny The two keyblade mercenaries stood on a roof next to the sandlot, watching as the queen, the commander, and the once-statue talked about estates and the Decolor. "So, those must be the guys that caused the assassinations." Braxen whispered to Penny. Penny clentched her fists. She'd heard about the Decolor, and how they loved to kill keybladers, no matter what side they were on. "Let's go, she whispered, and began walking away. Braxen was about to follow when a loose roof shingle gave way underneath him, causing him to lose balance and tumble into the sandlot, a mere few yards away from the queen. "Ugh, my head." he groaned to himself.
  3. Hmm... I think I'll keep my vote for Robert, since he's in the most nerffed group skill wise, with two of it's members new and not sure what's going on right now. Thus, they probably need it the most. That, and Robert+sword the size of Sephiroth's+zombie horde= one of the most epic battles I can possibly imagine.
  4. *Shamelessly votes for one of his characters* If that's not allowed, I vote for Bronshu.
  5. Just what this forum needs, a thread dedicated to the greatest kind of discussions!
  6. Braxen and Penny As the battle was coming to an end, Braxen began looking around for Penny. As he ran through the nearby alleyways searching for her, he saw a large man in an overcoat summon a keyblade, before being brutally murdered by a young man with spiky hair and dual pistols. Braxen tried to get to the assassin and avenge the large wielder's life, but the guy teleported before Braxen could get to him. "Ghaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Braxen shouted, making a large dent into a nearby wall. He's always hated assassins. They were murderous cutthroats who always killed their victims when they were helpless to fight back. He's had more than one of his friends die at the hands of those monsters, and it always infuriated him when he saw someone killed by one, especially a wielder. At the sound of Braxen shouting in rage, Penny left Sandrew on the bench and ran to make sure her partner was alright. [He'll be alright without any more help from me... I think.] she thought concerning Sandrew, when she saw Braxen standing over a dead body, "Brax, what did I tell you about controlling your anger?" "It wasn't me. It was an assassin." Braxen said somberly, a tone he almost never used, and picked up the body. "Come on, we should show the authorities this. He might be someone important." The two of them then made it back to the plaza and Braxen put down the body next to the man who looked to be in charge (Typhon), I saw him assassinated in a nearby alleyway. I couldn't get to the killer before he escaped. Was he someone important?" Braxen asked. Clara "Well alright then." Clara replied to Derik, and headed back to the medical room.
  7. Penny Once Penny was a decent ways from the battle, she laid the unconscious Sandrew on a nearby bench and felt his pulse. She was no doctor, but other than being exhausted, he seemed fine. "Hello? Are you hurt?" she asked, shaking Sandrew a bit to wake him up. She then heard Brooklyn calling from his gummi ship for the fighting to stop, [Well then, I guess he really could handle himself.] she thought, now not feeling as bad about leaving him behind. Stan, Lee, and Clara As Stan and Lee were putting away their playing cards, they felt the ground shake, and lots of shouting coming from hall. "It appears Derik has returned. Will you ask how the mission went?" Lee asked Stan. Stan merely laughed, "You kidding? Not while he's like this. How 'bout you?" Lee kept quiet, and put away the rest of the cards. Clara, who had just finished polishing her tools, walked out with her medical bag. "If he's this angry, it's probably because he lost a fight, which means he's probably injured. If he is, it's my duty as the team medic to heal him, even if he can be a little... grumpy at times." she said. Before long, she made it to where Derik was having his tantrum. "Hello Derik, are you in need of some healing?" she asked. It was clear he was, but she wanted to know whether or not he was feeling too prideful to want her help before she got down to business.
  8. Penny "All right, if you insist." Penny said, and gave Brooklyn the mega potion, "Here, this should help speed things along." Penny then hesitantly moved away from Brooklyn and picked up Sandrew. The boy was heavy, but fortunately Penny was stronger than she looked. She looked around for Braxen, but couldn't see him, [probably somewhere in the thick of the fight, as usual,] she thought, and walked away from the plaza, looking for a safe place to put the boy down.
  9. (Oh, okay. I'll just get rid of that post I made, then.) [braxen and Penny] As Penny continued to fire at the enemy soldiers, she noticed Derik and Zion fighting it out, each of them swearing almost as much as Brax did playing poker. She decided to keep her distance. After all, she'd heard about both of these fighters before, and knew her chances of surviving weren't as good as she'd prefer. As Derik left, he set of a massive explosion that probably would have seriously injured her and Braxen if it wasn't for the ice wall they were standing behind. Once the psychopath vanished, Penny ran over to the two wounded keybladers that went unconscious near the battle before Derik vanished, and gently shook the one who'd been punched in the stomach. "Hey, are you alright? Can you stand?" she asked while pulling out a mega potion. "Wait, where are you going?" Braxen asked, before jumping over the ice wall and nailing a dark wielder in the face with his fist. One of the stereotypes about keyblade wielders that always annoyed him was that they needed their keyblade and magic to be dangerous, something he'd learned to be far from the truth. As he continued to fight the dark soldiers, he accidentally tripped over one of the bodies. Odd thing was, this wasn't some soldier or civilian, this was a scientist. Not only that, but the only wound on him was small stab wound in the heart. Braxen barely held back a swear, "I hate assassins." he said, and got back to fighting, now much more observant of those around him.
  10. (Then how did Sandrew get to Brooklyn?)
  11. (Don't mind me, just a random post.)
  12. Braxen and Penny Braxen laughed when Penny's attempt at maintaining order caused the people to panic. "Well then, I guess the people here just don't have the backbones they have in Midgar, do they Penny?" Suddenly, several dark keyblade weilders came rushing at them. "Well then, let the party begin!" Braxen shouted excitedly as he charged straight at two of the keybladers, quickly dispatching them with his keyblade and ice magic. "I take back everything I said, this place's turning into a blast!" Penny rolled her eyes, "Come on Brax, this is supposed to be business, not pleasure. Defensive formation!" she shouted, and Braxen hesitantly created a barrier of ice for them to take cover behind. They then began firing blasts of fire and ice from behind their barrier, making sure not to hit any civilians.
  13. All right, thanks. I think I'll have them both be neutral for them, but currently working for the forces of light, which is why they're patrolling the city at the beginning of the RP.
  14. Braxen and Penny "Sheesh, quit your shoving." Braxen grumbled to the people around him. He couldn't see what it was, but something was getting the crowd all riled up, and people were beginning to push and shove others out of the way to get a better veiw. Penny frowned. "Don't worry, I'll handle this." she said summoning her keyblade, and shot a pillar of fire into the air in an effort to get everyone's attention and calm them down.
  15. Sorry for the double post here, but after reading about rikunobody's latest characters, I finally realized that the keybladers are separated into light and dark sides. Sorry about not noticing that before. I've edited both Braxen's and Penny's character sheets so that they're both on the side of light. I hope that's all right rikunobody.
  16. I just double checked, and there's definetly forty characters so far (forty two if you count the ones just introduced by rikunobody), split between fourteen roleplayers. That's probably because half of us (including myself) have three or more characters each. And let's not forget that in most RPs that allow it, more characters are added later on.
  17. So now that the RP's up, I decided to see how many characters there are so far, and unless I miscounted, there's forty. I don't know about any of you guys, but I don't think I've ever been in an RP with this many characters before.
  18. Braxen and Penny "Ugh, I don't get it. All we did was break a couple things in Agrabah while fighting some rebels, which we caught by the way, and we're stuck on setry duty on this dull world. I mean, this is Twilight Town! Nothing interesting ever happens here!" Braxen said as he walked through the marketplace in Twilight Town with his partner, Penny. "It was you who broke them Brax, not us. And those "things" you destroyed were ancient ruins that have been around for centuries. They hadn't even been fully excavated yet, and you smashed nearly half the structures to pieces." Penny replied calmly yet coldly. Over the past couple of years working with Braxen, she learned the best way of communicating with the adrenaline obsessed bruit was with a calm and level head. The two of them were near polar opposites, and often got on each others nerves, but they both cared for each other, in a completely platonic way of course, and worked well together, balancing out each others strengths and weaknesses. "Besides, this is only temporary. You'll be back to bashing heads and swan diving off cliffs before you know it, trust me." "Hmph, I hope you're right." Braxen responded, still upset. As the two of them walked into the plaza, Braxen thought he saw a mysterious black figure in the corner of his eye, but when he turned to take a look, it was gone. "Get ready." Braxen wispered into Penny's ear, "It's just a feeling, but I think things are about to get a lot less boring." Clara, Stan, and Lee Clara sat in the medical room back at the base, polishing her tools. She'd been out of practice lately, but with some of Decolor agents out on a dangerous mission, she had the feeling she might need her medical tools before the day was out. Meanwhile, Stan and Lee sat nearby playing cards, patiently waiting to hear how the mission was going.
  19. Anyone else think of this guy when they heard the name Omega Ruby?
  20. Alright, theory time: I'm guessing that guessing that this guy (can't remember his name) is actually a new character, and Sakurai is posting this picture simply to mess with us, like he's done before.
  21. All sorts of things, but mainly the new trailers and game announcements.
  22. Well, considering that many of the roleplayers here have multiple characters in this RP, and that many of the characters will be trying to kill each other, I think it's safe to say there's gonna be a lot of death.
  23. I'm fine with starting the RP on Wednesday, as long as there aren't any more delays after that. I'm really looking forward to this.
  24. It depends. Side scrollers should remain in 2D, but I would love to see games with a top-down perspective such as Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy VI remade in 3D.
  25. Check out what I found on the interwebz today. It's pretty hilarious.
