I think overall the PS4 is a better system than Xbone. Cheaper system, cheaper online services, better hardware, plus sony wasn't trying to firetruck people initially. Microsoft never even appologized for their antics. This is all moot though since PC is the best gaming platform anyway.

Yes, Kojima was the one who personally sat down and did all of the coding for the HD transition. Damn his eyes! Also, he's stated that he still wants to do ZOE 3, so it isn't off the table.

He has worked on stuff outside of MG between MG games, but people don't seem to notice because they don't sell as well. Snacher, Policenauts, ZOE, Boktai, Castlevania, and now Silent Hills. Besides, if he enjoys the Metal Gear series more than his other works, who are we to judge? It's not like Nomura isn't vastly favoring FF and KH over his other works.

I didn't say he doesn't make mistakes, I said his focus on MG isn't entirely his fault. Stop putting words in my mouth.

I would fault Konami and the MG fans for this more than Kojima, I almost feel bad for him. He keeps getting bullied into making more sequels. Kojima has stated several times over the years that he wants to move on from Metal Gear but the studios don't seem to want to fund his other projects, and the fans keep bitching that they want more MG (even sending death threats apparently).

Gameplay: I haven't really been into the series since Silent Hill 2, but this looks better than the last few. (so far)

KH3 and Uncharted 4 are the only ones that might make me reconsider. MGS5 and Witcher 3 were my primary concern, and now I know that they both have PC releases.
