  1. MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN
  2. "Probably a good idea. I'm not one for possessed people trying to kill me every minute of the day. It's not good for the health, or the skin." Ferro joked. He peered down the dark street. He wished this quarter had street lights, but that was not the case. "So, what do we do now? Look for more possessed? Or just wing it?"
  3. "Well, if throwing a knife at my head is trying to kill me, then yes, he tried to kill me. He's dead now. I have a bit of combat training myself, with more than just a blowgun." Ferro walked in silence for a moment. "I guess I wouldn't have had to kill him, but it seemed. . . necessary." Ferro looked at his two new companions. Both were apparently from the police department. So I've committed some thefts, Ferro thought, no biggie. It's not like they can be traced to me. They were all committed by a mysterious grey octopus, as the witnesses say, but who would believe that. Then again, if the police see me transform, they will know I did it. "So, it seems these. . . Shall we call them possessions? Yes, possessions. It seems there have been multiple occurrences."
  4. "Well, I'm glad you had a lighter, because I don't have one. I've never been one for smoking." Ferro fell in step next to the other two. "And as for the blowpipe, I've had it since I was little. I used to shoot squirrels with it." Ferro touched the blowpipe fondly. "Now that you mention it, I have seen something strange. My roommate attacked me just out of the blue this evening. He was very obviously not in his right mind."
  5. (Gee, MDS, are you running this RP? That was a well-constructed story post.) Ferro saw a red glow light up the cloud cover several blocks away. Huh, interesting. Ferro made in that direction. He knew he shouldn't be involving himself in anything, but for some reason this night felt different. It felt dangerous. And the danger felt good. Ferro loosened his blowpipe.
  6. Ferro walked down the street at a brisk pace, his bag swinging at his side. Thank goodness my transformations encompassed small carried things, he thought. The landlord won't be getting this month's rent, either. That last bit made Ferro smile. The expression vanished as he looked back on what had happened. Danny had attacked him. He had obviously not been in his right mind. And Ferro had entered that strange, cold-blooded instinct that seemed to take him over every so often. No matter, it was done, and Ferro wasn't one to feel remorse for his actions. He just kept walking, feeling that somehow, something big was about to go down. He touched the blowgun in his pocket.
  7. As quickly as the knife embedded in the wall, Ferro was undergoing a change. His head elongated, his torso shrunk, his arms and legs split in half and became eight long tentacles. He turned a translucent grey color, phosphoring softly in the darkness. His eyes pierced the dark veil in the kitchen and saw Danny crouching on the ground, foaming at the mouth, a second knife clutched in his hand. Before the possessed man could throw it, however, the great grey octopus lashed out with a tentacle. Danny snarled as the paralyzing poison took hold, his muscles seizing up. The octopod flowed over him, and delivered a swift bite to his neck with the beak concealed beneath the tentacles. The neck snapped and Danny was still. Ferro transformed back in a second, went into his room, and grabbed his bag. He kept all his things in there so he could leave at a moment's notice. Ferro left the corpse in the kitchen and left the apartment, left the building. He took to the street. (Now I am caught up. People on the street can interact with me.)
  8. I know. I should ask his opinion on starting it.
  9. (Okay, I will get myself on track.) Ferro had been walking through the streets, eating an apple. He had gotten his braces off before the family cruise, and so relished his ability to eat the unsliced apple. He soon finished the apple and finished his walk. He went into the shabby building where his apartment was (he paid rent using stolen money). Ferro opened the door to his apartment. "Danny! I'm back!" Danny shared the apartment with Ferro, since the owner was stupid. Danny had learned to stay out of Ferro's way. Nevertheless, they had formed a relationship after a time. "Danny?" Ferro said when he got no response. The apartment was mostly dark. Ferro shrugged. He had no need of the lights. As he walked past the kitchen, he thought a glint. A metallic, moving glint. A knife glint. Ferro ducked as the blade impaled the wall where is head was a moment before.
  10. (Okay, I did not realize this was here. Can somebody PM me and give me a summary?)
  11. Yay MDS is here! I'm waiting for Sikota to come back (hopefully he will) before starting Like Clockwork.
  12. Name: Ferro Lelpid Age: 21 Gender: male Normal appearance: medium height, slight build, short brown hair, brown eyes, wears blue jeans and a light grey T-shirt under a dark grey fleece jacket. Overall, a very nondescript person. Alternate form: Ferro becomes a grey, translucent octopus. The octopus can swim through air as if it were water, and can phase through things. It is adept at changing its color, effectively becoming invisible given a minute to fully change. It can grow as many tentacles as it needs (so it may not be correct to call it an octopus, but whatever). It has a very malleable body, so it can twist and scrunch itself up to dodge attacks. Weapons: Ferro carries a blowgun and darts with him. The darts can be spiked with a variety of poisons and sedatives, which Ferro started secreting naturally ever since he found out he could form change. Biography: Ferro had been born into a wealthy family. They were taking a cruise around the world when Ferro accidentally fell off the ship. His parents went to look for him, but all they found was a grey octopus swimming in the water. Ferro didn't realize he had changed until he found he wasn't drowning. As they were near Japan, he struck off in that direction, somehow knowing which direction to swim. He has made a comfortable life for himself stealing from wealthy people. He has never had a desire to return to his parents; he savors his freedom. Alignment: dark Silhouette
  13. (I know, right? And it's only because he met Neko here.)
  14. (His parents wisened up to how he was getting on the site and blocked it on his iPad, which was his primary way to get on the site. In addition, they are closely monitoring his account.)
  15. (Sikota took the soul of our group with him. And I don't want to start Like Clockwork without him.)
  16. I won? Well, that's stupid. I never even got a chance to battle Blake.
  17. Sikota and I have had the idea of moving this RP to Google Drive so we can keep doing it. Sikota has big plans, apparently.
  18. Same here. I felt tired afterward, watching all that.
  19. Catching Fire was excellent.
  20. Maybe condolences aren't the right thing. The relationship is far from dead. And why are we talking as if neither of them are here?
  21. Nope. It's troubling, to say the least. We all have parental problems, I'm sure. It's really an unfortunate thing.
  22. He told them. Same as you or I would tell our parents about any girlfriend.
  23. Yep, watch for it. I'll put a link here and probably a few other places. I'll also invite people with messages if they don't see a link. At the rate this is going, it will be soon. . .
