  1. - Aether - Private Shuttle - Aether's eyes were staring directly at Kira's, the only moment that that was broken was when Simeon came in, and only for a quick moment. "I can see that, don't worry. And I I would know how that feels, Kira, but I think that would be meaningless to say," Aether said without breaking eye contact, "as my memory is wiped clean after every successful job, which is why I'm still here." This would been the first time a job was left unfinished, and probably would be considered a total failure if neither Omicron nor her returned to their designated spot. But, hey! This job couldn't be worse, right? At least she would be able to keep her memories this time, or that's what it looked like, at least. "I wouldn't mind another job like it, it is what I'm good at," Aether said, still looking at Kira. - Aurion - Private Shuttle - Control Room - Aurion noticed that Simeon looked a little out of breath, and he wondered why. Maybe something was happening outside the Cockpit? They were still there so, maybe, it wasn't dangerous. The young scientist handled him a strange disc-like object and what it looked like a communicator. Apparently he just had to take the disk-like object to a place called Rising Falls, put it somewhere out of the way and hit the button to activate it. Sounded easy. "I think I can do that," Aurion replied, "Looks easy enough." The former delivery boy was very surprised with the amount of munny that the scientist gave him, it was a lot of munny, probably worth around 3 months of work. "Uh, y-yeah. I think this will be more than enough for that," Aurion said, still a little surprised, "Alright, I think I understand what I have to do. Any information you can give me about this Radiant Garden world? Is it like the Destiny Islands?
  2. I was going to let Sif do his "Quicksilver" thing, (except without music since headphones don't exist, yet,) dodging the buzzsaws, but I prefer if Alastor speaks draconic. Will post later tonight, or early tomorrow. My phone finally died, and I won't be near my pc for most of the day. Have a good day, friends!
  3. Aurion: We really should make a wrap up party once this job is over. Rabiyu: Y-yeah. Over. *smiles nervously* Aura: I know that look Rabs. What are you hiding Rabiyu: I'm not hiding anything, I swear! Tell them, Rei! Sifrei: She is totally hiding something. Rabiyu: *cover face with hands* Alright...alright. There are talks about possibly another contract after this one is done. My agent told me to not get my hopes up, but to have faith. Aura: Really? Uh, haven't heard anything from my agent. Perhaps I should give him a call. Sifrei: Anyways. We will see. Maybe we will accept your offer, Soren.
  4. Director: Cut! CUT! Everyone, take five. Get some air, drink some water, give a look at your lines. *walks to the snack table* Rabiyu: *sighs**uses some eyedrops on her eyes* This scene is hard. Aura: *grabs a bottle of water from Aurion and drinks it* Aurion: It's supposed to be that way. You are nearly at the end of the journey. Sifrei: You are doing great. Just a few more shots and we will be done for the day. Rabiyu: I need a bath. Aura: I need a good drink. Sifrei: I guess we will have takeout, right? Aurion: Or we can cook something together. Rabiyu: By the Pale Mistress, I'm too tired to cook. Sifrei: Takeout it is. Aura: Don't forget the drinks! Aurion: No more drinks for you!
  5. - Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial - Everyone was ready to cross once Henry was able to lift the crate, but the sudden appearence of a giant snake was very surprising. More importantly was that the other group, the one who went into the other door was there, all of them, except Helios. Aura looked around for a moment and thought it was strange that the giant snake was trying to attack the other creature, this made Aura realize that that other creature was Helios. The giant snake was trying to attack her and Bherna, but Henry managed to stop the attack. The young woman nodded and took out her sword, she was going to be ready once there was a chance to counter attack. Meanwhile Rabiyu was looking at the giant snake, the excitement was rising as her eyes slowly turned crimson red and a smile appeared on her face. Perhaps this was the perfect time to cause some destruction, if the others were among the victims, oh well. Rabiyu raised her hand towards the giant snake, and pointed at it with with two of her fingers. Magic was gathering at the tips of those fingers, magic powerful enough to vanish the creature from excistance itself, however, something cause her to stop and her eyes return to normal. These were her friends, her allies, she had to help, not hurt them. "Zii do Felniir, fahraal dii faan. Kuz dii hokoron kotin hin krah mahlov," Rabiyu said as her voice echoed, "Qahnaar niin kotin vozahnil. " Rabiyu's surroundings began to feel colder, the snake would also feel spots on its body slowly freezing over thanks to Rabiyu's magic spell. The elf was being careful to not freeze spots close to the others, she didn't wanted to freeze them too. Perhaps the ice would be able to slow the giant snake down, at least for a little.
  6. - Sifrei - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial - They had been walking for some time now, but without a clear way to see the outside, or know the time, it feel like mere minute were hours. There were paths upon paths which led to nowhere, dead ends, and a strange, unknown grinding sound in the distance. What was it? it was impossible to know at this point in time, but perhaps that sound had something to do with the trial. After a few more moments of walking a shriek could be heard coming from somewhere, the voice sounded female, but, sadly, there was no time to go back. Sifrei trusted that those who had come could take care of themselves if a dangerous situation arose. "I do not think we are walking in circles, not yet, at least," Sifrei said as he got closer to the spot where the paths split, "but, just to be sure..." The Archangel reached his hand out as his hand glowed faintly, a small amount of light began to gather in front of his hand. In a few seconds a small glowing rune appeared, this way, they would know if they were walking in circles. Or Sifrei hoped so, at least. No one knew how Isopolis worked, and he wouldn't be surprised if the forbidden shrine wouldn't like it. "This should help us see if we have been in the same spot," He said as he looked at the Cyph as he slammed himself into the wall, " We can still afford to split the party one more time, I think. I will keep going forward." - Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial - Aura smiled at Henry's words, it seemed so unlikely to think that they had become such good friends ever since the beginning of their journey, there was also Helios. She had been thinking how long it felt since their strange adventure had begun. It seemed like a long time ago, when her and Aurion traveled the land in search of jobs, and a place to call home. Now? Now she was on a quest to save the world. It took what felt like hours to reach a dead end, only to circle back and explore a different path where several very large and, probably, very heavy crates where. Aura looked as Bherna tried to move them, with little success. Rabiyu had remained silent most of the time, only looking at her surroundings in an attempt to find even a little hint to know that they were going in the right direction. She was not surprised when Bherna was unable to move the crates. It was most obvious that the strongest of the group was Henry, and she was going to comment on that, but, apparently, the young man had the same idea. "Be careful with that, alright?" Aura said as she took Henry's sword, "We don't know what will be on the other side of those crates." "We will need to more fast if there is a chance to cross," Rabiyu said while taking two daggers from her belt, "but we should be ready for a possible trap being triggered too,"
  7. They will pull a Ron/Hermione moment, they just need help in cutting the snake's head, maybe Eclaire can help, and they will end up kissing each othetr. Helios will be sad about the snake, though.
  8. - Rabiyu,Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial - Well, nothing happened as the door belonging to Melchior opened, which was a good sign in the eyes of the judges. Arthur, Helios, and Eclaire were going through a different door and this made Aura feel a little nervous for Helios's safety, the others too, of course. "Helios?" She said, "be careful in that room, alright?" Without wasting another moment the trio made their way into the dark hallway, light getting dimmer and dimmer the further they press on, until there is a point were the path splits. One going forwards, the other going right. Aura sniffed the air and listened closely for any hints of something, anything, further down those paths, there was no such luck. Rabiyu and Sifrei were looking at the strange glowing floor and walls, it would have been interesting to learn more about such a place like Isopolis, however, this was not the time for that. Rabiyu heard what the prince said and sighed. Apparently he wanted the whole group to stick together on the path going forward. The only problem was that she thought this was unwise. "I'm afraid to say that taking the whole group along a single path would be rather disastrous, Your Highness." She said calmly without even turning to look at Jynn, "There is a fifty percent chance that that choice would put the whole group in danger, it would be like flipping a coin. This group is the one with most members, as Arthur, Helios, and your late Mother's retainer went through the other door." "What my elven friend here wants to say is that there is no point in risking the whole party going through just one path, prince," Sifrei said, "The best choice would be to split the party. That way, if there is danger, and I am sure there will be, that group can solve that potential issue while the other can reach the end of the trial. If the team dealing with the difficult part of the trial completes it, then we should be able to meet at the end of the labyrinth" "I don't think that's a good idea, but I suppose you guys are right," Aura said flatly, "In which case I will take the path to the right." "I'll take the path to the right as well." Rabiyu said. "Then I suppose I will take the path in front of us," Sifrei said.
  9. - Aether - Private Shuttle - "That is one way to put it, yes," Aether said to Kira, "You could say that being forgotten is the fate of us nobodies. Kira asking about her plan triggered something inside Aether. For the first time in, well, ever, she had the opportunity to choose what she wanted to do. The Silver Ravens had a need for her, a need to do their jobs, which was fine by the young assassin, but, perhaps, there was something else out there in the bigger world. Somewhere where she truly belonged to. That, or she was trying to fool herself in thinking that she could be needed by someone else. "I dunno. If the bosses think I'm dead, then I'm free as a bird," Aether said with a smile, "Why? Would you be kind enough to hire someone with my talents, Kira?" - Aurion - Private Shuttle - Control Room - Aurion nodded in understandment to Simeon's words and watched him as he left. This was it. His life was going to change once more. Leaving the Realm of Darkness first, and now this. The former delivery boy wondered how his parents were doing, his family was, well, they were not rich, but there was enough to go by. It broke his heart when he chose to leave his home and his family behind, but it was for their own good, or that's what he wanted to believe, at least. His hand slowly went up and was held in place, for a moment nothing happened, but then, in a sudden cloud of darkness, he could feel the cold touch of steel in the palm of his hand. The fabled weapon that he was now holding was the source of much discontent and corruption among the denizens of the Light. Those who wielded one, or at least a replica of one, were in places of power and wealth, while the rest were labeled as inferior. There was a reason he never used the weapon in public, better keep the fact of being a wielder a secret rather than catch the eyes of those of the Light, unless someone wished for misfortune. Aurion stared at his keyblade, Forwards unto Darkness, for what it seemed like an eternity until it disolved in a puff of dark smoke. "Well, I guess this will be a new start then."
  10. Take all the time you need, mate. I hope you feel better and recover soon.
  11. This is really fun! Rabs: Guys? You know what we have to do,right? Sif: Split the party! Aura: Someone is going to die before this is over.
  12. The "If you know that only one of the three gurus is right" part is what has been driving me crazy since yesterday. And what I posted was the only way I could make all that work.
  13. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis Entrance - It was a shame, the soldier that had been attacked by the cyph was gone, healing magic would do nothing to bring back the dead. Perhaps he was already in the presence of the Pale Mistress. Rabiyu glanced at the pink haired girl and her sudden change in behavior regarding the prince. She didn't realy knew the girl that well, only that she was the retainer of Shiva at some point, so it was not very important to her. Since the fey soldier was already dead she stood up and saw that the doors to the forbidden shire were already opened, Sifrei already taking a look inside. "It seems safe," he said as the elf walked next to him, "circular room, three doors, green flames. Nothing else." The two judges moved closer to inspect the scroll dangling on the wall. After a couple of seconds Aura stopped next to them, also reading the scroll. "Three gurus...art collection...at least four...less than four...at least one...What does that mean? A riddle of some sort?" Aura whispered as she heard Helios and Arthur's explanation, "I can see how that could work. Someone would try to confuse the person trying to solve the riddle." Both Rabiyu and Sifrei kept staring at the scroll, their minds trying to find meaning to the words that were on that scroll. Sifrei glanced at Rabiyu and kept doing it for a few moments, until the elf turned her head slightly. "Did you solved the riddle already, Sifrei?" Rabiyu asked the Archangel. "I did, I think. If you read the words vey carefully then the answer will come, eventually." "So...are Helios and Arthur right?" Aura asked Sifrei. "I'm afraid that I will have to say that their answer would be incorrect." Sifrei answered Aura. "Allow me to explain," Rabiyu said calmly, "You did payed attention, my friend," Sifrei said while smiling, Aura nodded at the lengthy explanation from the two judges, more confused than ever with their reasoning. Answer (I spent all my time at work thinking about this riddle, even asked some of my friends for help, which was even worse since we were all confused. I am awful at riddles )
  14. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis Entrance - Aura moved closer to Henry and patted him on the back. Although still a little confused, she gave Henry a smile. "It's alright, you did what you thought was right," Aura said, "Welcome back, by the way." "At this point it is worthless to wonder what would have happened, Prince. Let us move, there is no point in standing here without doing anything," Rabiyu said to Jynn without even looking at him, "And if you think this mission will fail, then, by all means, you are free to return to Kilkis Seres. We will try to reach the Source before the Regent or the Black Witch." The elf walked towards the restrained guard that was punched by the cyph, she kneeled next to him and touched the poor guy's back. Her hand glowed faintly as a small healing spell was casted. Sifrei looked at the prince and shooks his head before walking next to Helios and pressed both hands against the gates in an attempt to open it. "Alright. Let's get this over with." Sifrei said to Helios.
  15. Rabiyu: I am a stealthy archer. Part of the job, really. My speech, though. Sifrei: minus, what exactly? Rabiyu: I don't want to talk about that.
  16. Rabiyu/Sifrei = True Neutral Aura = Former Chaotic Neutral - Neutral Good. And for Rabs it's the normal game of chess. What piece she represents I do not know. Either a Knight or a Bishop.
  17. It is a fight to see who gets to the Source first. Odin's group, Yevgeni's, or Midnea. While I feel the same, both Typhon and Henry had other plans. Rabs only tried to restrain the poor guy that was punched by the cyph. We had a fey that actually worked there, for the Pale Mistress's sake. I wonder what consequences will be in the group's future after this.
  18. Thanks for the offer, Mystic. Once I have a little more time to work on the details for the possible sequel, and if I see that I need help, I will totally send you a PM asking for your assistance. It was brilliant!
  19. I cannot unsee this! My mind made the connection instantly, if only because it's one of my favorite movies from my childhood.
  20. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis Entrance - It was finally time for their last mission, both judges were ready to face whatever they had to face to ensure that the Source of All Life was obtained, the three of them were surprised when another, smaller, group joined. Some of the faces were familiar ones to Rabiyu and Aura, but not for Sifrei. Rabiyu looked at the queen's retainer for a moment, taking into consideration that she was no longer the same as she remembered to be when they had met during battle. When Aura was about to greet Henry she was stopped by the sudden actions done by the palico. Rabiyu was just staring at the running fey while Sifrei simply shrugged and sighed. "Oh, brother. I do not know if I should be surprised or..." Sifrei said as he looked at Rabiyu, "you know what, I won't say anything. That will cause a distraction at this point." "That was completely random," Aura asked, being slightly confused, "What was the point of that?" The elf watched as the Cyph vanished from sight, only to reappear behind one of the guards of the shrine. The Cyph looked like he was about to charge an attack that undoubtedly would sent the guard flying forwards, giving the perfect moment to restrain the poor fool. At this point there was no point in holding back her magic, not when so much was at stake. Not even if the backlash of her way to cast spells would come back to bite her at a later date. "Zii do Lund, fahraal dii faan," Rabiyu whispered in ancient draconic, as her voice gained a faint echo, "Zu'u uth hi wah zin thy sos kiid do wuth ahrk jakah thy heyv wah zey." With the spell finished, vines would begin to erupt from the ground and would lash out towards the guard that was attacked by the Cyph, surrounding the fey's body and pinning the man into the ground, leaving him unable to move. If there were more guards inside the shrine, all the ruckus that was currently happening outside would have alerted them by now.
  21. Phew, I finally finished the first draft of Rabs's Epilogue/backdoor for the possible sequel. Until the day the actual post is needed I will be making slight changes and add things in case is necessary. Still don't have enough free time to focus exclusively on planning the sequel, but I'm slowly working on it, I promise. Still, I have a long ways to go.
  22. Thank you! I couldn't remember her name at all. It would be an honor for her. A tomb encrusted with diamonds for a dear friend.
  23. It finally clicked who would be the perfect voice for Aurion. *drums* Ray Chase! That would make: Rabiyu: Minori Chihara Sifrei: Yuri Lowenthal Aura: Kira Buckland Aurion: Ray Chase I'm trying to think of one for Valdra/Mielinare, but I cannot remember the name! She is the one who gave voice to the dragon from the Eragon movie. That voice would be perfect for the one who could desintegrate anyone with just a thought.
  24. You can never go wrong with Morgan "God" Freeman! Every time I read Rufus I imagine Genie from Aladdin. Robin Williams would be the perfect choice.
