Scattered Dream

"Actually what I ment was Newa is trying to sleep, but I suppose we have time while we wait for Juane." Not that her words made a difference.

Dream nodded, trying to hide a smile a the Felixes antics. It was a halfhearted attempt. "Well then," she told the teddy bears, "Maybe if you want to prepare frozen yogurts to throw at the werewolfs then Newa can rest up." She made sure her sword was in good condition, and retied her hair. After crushing a few psynergy shards and checking her Djinn she announced "I guess that's it for me."

Dream was a bit flattered, but more angy at herself that she had almost hit a potential ally. As always, she hid her emotions under a composed emotionless slate. "Speed is mostly a matter of practice, but if we have time I can teach you what I have learned. You evidently know quite a bit yourself, having avoided that bolt." She had to stop making commitments. She wasnt even part of this group yet... Whatever.

"Oh for heavens sake, Felix!!!" Dream turned to face him. "Isn't it obvious? The howl was that girl. If it was a real werewolf she would have been running towards the camp, probably screaming, or looking in the direction where we heard the howl. She would not be facing towards us." She was a bit upset Felix hadn't figured it out on his own, but past experience reminded her that Felix was not the most logical person in the world.

Dream calmly drew out her staff and pointed it at the trees in the direction that the howl had come from. A plasma bolt blasted the trees apart, revealing not a monster, but that girl that Dream had seen earlier. She set the staff down and folded her arms. "Any particular reason you decided to act like a werewolf, or did you just want to get yourself killed? I hunt monsters, you know. That doesn't leave much time for panic."

keys: 4Dream watched Yen disappear after Hazimie. She wanted to stop him, to warn him that Kijiya was to powerfull to be around right now, that it was to dangerous, but she didn't want to interfere. And anyways, it wasnt her place. So, there they were with a team total of 8 keys, the pretty useless RPs and only one OC. Great. Cindi looked over at Dream. "Where is the plethora of luck now?" She questioned. Dream stuck out her tongue jokingly, and started looking for keys. The sooner they got out of this place, the better.

"Sure," Dream responded, "But I don't even know if its ok for me to travel with you yet." She smiled. "You could get the supplies first though, werwolf's are tough."

keys:4 Dream looked around. The robot tracks went on the wrong turn, so they were safe for now. Unless Felix was wrong, which was not unheard of. Yen being "off his rocker" sounded quite serious though. They wouldn't joke about that. Dream and Cindi nodded and raced up the stairs into the room with Hazimie and Yen.

"Where do you intend to find frozen yogurt around here? These guys are into agriculture." Dream questioned him. She continued to wait to see if Juane or Xiro or whoever was in charge was ok with her joining.

(I may have been mistaken, but weren't you guys together? Oh, I see. I was confused by a post between Xiro Felix and Corona yesterday. My bad, sorry. At any rate you appear to be doing nothing, and they are hunting werwolves.)

Dream smiled to herself. These guys were in no hurry. She decided to go meet the people that had stayed behind. She walked into camp shortly after Jaune, turning to Xiro, who seemed most on top of events at the moment. "Would it be ok if I joined you?" She asked. (No is fine, of course, but there are no other groups to team up with unless you want me to play antagonist.)

Dream watched the girl be recovered by a party that looked quite friendly. That's that then, she decided. The group appeared to be heading to Violet City, which would be counter productive. Ahh well... But they did look skilled and were probably going to take on the boss at some point. She decided to ciontinue her practice and head them off at Crimson City if they didn't have too many people. But if they were meeting the queen, that might be fun to watch. She hadn't seen these people in town before. She changed her mind and flew to Violet City, waiting outside the palace and reading a book.

Research completed, Dream decided to head over to the Green Plains, and from there to Crimson City. With any luck she would gain some experience allong the way, and perhaps meet up with a few people so as to be strong enought to beat this rings boss. She flew over the plains, seeing a figure that looked like a cross between a girl and a... What? Cat, wolf... Neither was quite right, but she decided to fly down to meet this player, but they were attacked by a large wolf and ran away. Great, she thought, well I guess I will deal with this first. She used a plasma spell from the air trying to stay out of the wolfs range. It was hit, but that only made it angry. Dream was quite surprised when the "wolf" jumpedtwenty feet in the air to where she was, sending them tumbling down. She maneuvered the wolf underneath her, and it took the brunt of the impact. Being an air adapt she recovered quickly, and was surprised for the second time that day when the wolf got up too. Not a normal wolf then. Ok, I will try something new. Dual wielding her staff and sword, she trapped the wolf and followed it up with a string of attacks. The wolf died (finally) and she leveled up. Dream walked off to find the person she had seen.

(I did, I am just unsure where you want us to go. I guess I will start with the two darks.) Rachel twisted her keyblade up, breaking through the guard of the first wielder. Surprisingly he recovered quickly, grabbing her wrist and twisting it in an attempt to disarm her. She jumped into the air, going with the force of his move to pull herself and his arm over the dark warriors head. She quickly stabbed at a weak link in his armor while he was surprised, killing him instantly. The second was a bit more cautious, slowly stepping forwards before quickly sending a shadow spell directly followed by a series of fast hard blows. Rachel was able to block all but the last, and was sent tumbling backwards, narrowly dodging an overhead blow by rolling to the right. She aimed two fast kicks upwards, catching the dark wielder off guard. They both rose to their feet, sending a flurry of spells at each other immediately after rising. Eventually Rachel overpowered her opponent, ending the fight. She looked around and noticed that her friends weren't there.

key:4"Not really." Cindi decided. "I'm from a small village in a world called Termina. As such I don't have a very interesting backstory, which I guess is a good thing after having heard Rachel's" Dream interrupted her, "I'm sorry if you haven't noticed, but its not exactly a good time for this. We are kind of trying to find Yen and avoid whatever monster is making these earthquakes." "What else is there to do?" Cindi asked, which was when they found the casino. Luckily the robots inside were still inside, and the two following Yen had made pretty big tracks. "Well," Dream smiled, "We could start with this." Cindi made a pouty face before saying, "Oh sure, lets follow the evil robots who want to kill Yen." So they raced down the hall after the muderous automatons.

keys:4Earthquakes? Thought Dream incredulously, earthquakes in an underground dungeon? Smart Hazimie. They continued to search for Yen.

keys:4 "Yen went out the front." Dream informed her, taking another left. "I vote no more casinos." Cindi said as she raised her hand like she was in school. Dream nodded in agreement. "We are bound to run into him soon, with any luck." "But Dream," Cindi reminded, "We don't have any luck." Dream laughed. "We have a surplus of luck. A plethora of it. It simply comes into play late." Cindi didn't look reassured. "That generally means that it doesn't come when we need it, which we do..."(Simple? This is an RP. You can forget that word, you won't need it.)

Keys:4And that was how Dream and Cindi found themselfs under aged, locked in a casino, and in the presance of a hoard of malicious robots. At least they found a key, but they couldn't figure out how they would get out or find Yen if they did. And then there was finding the Felix. "We are in a mess." Cindi pointed out helpfully. "You think so?" Dream questioned, and then added "we could try a window." Cindi frowned. How would we get past the robots? And then we would be in a different part of the maze than Yen." Dream frowned. "We could sneak past in the curtains. And then find him later." Cindi frowned back at her. "And Felix?" "She will figure it out." "She will?" "She needs to because we won't be able to help her." They began to sneak past the robots, but then Cindi decided to play hero and run after Felix. The robots noticed her in the time it took, realized she was with Yen, ran after them, and nearly caught the three in the time it took to jump out the window. And then they figured out that the drop was lower on this side. So, after a painful crash, dream and Cindi dragged Felix allong in the direction they hoped would lead them to Yen. Left, of course.(Sorry, you chose to gamble. I won't make things that easy.

keys:3 Dream made an exasperated face before following Yen in. He was right, the girl Felix might be an issue. As for passing for 21, not going to happen. Lying would only make things worse, but she and Cindi would just go in, have a quick look around for keys, and get out. Assuming they didn't loose Felix...

keys:3"Brakes are inefficient." Dream declared as she pulled out an antidote and gave it to the imp. "That said, we could search for a key there so long as you promise not to get drunk or start playing time wasting games." She thought it was a fair request, but wasn't sure if it would happen.

(Why can't you be this productive in Hazimies RP? just kidding, it's fun. )

Keys:3Oh great, thought Dream, Textbook definition of a facepalm moment. These guys are even more crazy then I thought. Ok then, to do list: 1. Stop Felix 2. Get out of this place very fast! 3. Go look for more keys. Cindi was already on the ball. Of course, leaping forwards while using her amulet to summon her fire. Side affects: the imp would be unconscious and poisoned, but only an idiot carries poison with no antidote, and while it could be argued whether she was intelligent or not, Dream was not quite an idiot. With any luck Silver would be too confused to follow. Cindi scooped up the imp and they ran off down the corridor.
