If the reason for the friendship being torn apart does happen to be only be because of the hearts and what we already know about them, that would be predictable because we already predicted what that would be the reason in this thread That's is what I am talking about! That is the only thing I am calling predictable! I'm not talking about how they lost they hearts being predictable and yadayadayada, I am talking about the reason you listed based off of info we already have being the only reason why the friendship got destroyed in the end. Stay focused. And remember how I told you what I want from KH3 is to see what else happened that we don't know of that could have contributed to the the friendship getting destroyed? Yeah. Do you not know the meaning of predictable? We are not talking about 3d, we are talking about 3. And the fact that we already know based off of info from the games, it would be predictable if that was the complete reason to the friendship being destroyed. That is if they make that the ultimate reason.

You said that the main purpose of the friendship being demolished is because of this heart business, If that was the over all reason, by this discussion about it being proof of that, that would be predictable. If something else happened that we don't know of also contributed to the conflict, it wouldn't be predictable because we don't know what it is in the first place.

I have a fool proof method to make Kairi an official Disney princess. 1. Have Disney make a movie revolving around Kairi NOT MARKETED TOWARDS YOU GUYS! (don't be selfish not everything is made for you) But to appeal to average audiences. 2. If done right, the movie shall want young children to want to buy merchandise. 3. Merchandise is made and Disney gets a lot of money. And Kairi is a princess now. Yay! And as a possible secondary character love interest Sora shall become the inglorious Disney Prince.

I don't think your getting what I'm talking about, of course we have so much suspense as to what will happen to everyone in the end, but the events that lead up to it... It could be seem coming a mile away (except to someone that doesn't pay attention to the story as much). That is!.. Unless we are introduced to some never before seen details. Yes, there are many layers, but what I want to know is all of them Square has to offer, not just what we were presented on screen in the media we have now.

I mean that the entire cause of the friendship being destroyed because of Xehanort's heart or Lea growing a heart being the sole purpose is anti-climatic. I'm a literature nerd, sorry if I sound like I'm expecting too much from KH3, but who wouldn't? Whether he lives or dies? Idk, but I think the impact of the outcome really depends on everything else building up to it. We don't have much to take from at the moment which is why I would like to see what else went on off screen. I just really hope the developers don't just toss it aside or put very little thought into it.

But, does his heart slowly replace the heart it has infected? Like say his heart completely devours another and he dies. There would be nothing left of the original heart, so...

*whiny teenager mode activated* but that would be so laaayme. But in all seriousness the main cause of Xehanort's heart sounds very anti-climatic. It's predictable and has very little.. well.. shock value for lack of a better word. But hey, Nomura basically says he has some surprises in store for us. I would expect that Xehanort's heart will play a major part, but the internal conflict would just be the icing on the cake. I can see Isa dying in the end. I want my heart to be tied to a bomb, anticipating every moment during its final countdown. If KH3 will be the best in the series it better make me cry for once. If Xehanort dies, would everyone else be rid of his heart?

About FF7, I think we've already been done with that fight in the FF series. I did remember Toy Story being confirmed (rubber ducky Donald ftw) And SW does fit in nicely despite popular opinion. Braig/MX coming up the DeathStar, I wonder how Star Wars fans would react to that.

About DDD, there was actually a book written with some art by the comic artist, if that counts.

I mean read Axel's journal entry in Days, it makes ya feel like this friendship began to fall apart recently when Roxas came around.

The only thing that could ruin the game is poor game mechanics, game breaking glithes and crappy writing. If just adding a world from Star Wars, Marvel, Final Fantasy and such can easily ruin a game for you, I'd can't imagine how this game will be to you if this game becomes the next Sonic 06. And what is that formula. None really exists.

IDK if this topic was post before, I have no means of finding out, so anyways... I just wanted to know if anyone else is convinced that this connection between Ventus, Lea and Isa/Roxas (or Xion), Axel and Lea has anything to do with, let's say jealousy. I mean, playing that dark mess of a game Days is kinda give me slight vibes of this idea. But then seeing that cutscene with Ventus, Lea and Isa pretty much got me thinking. It could have been foreshadowing to this "subplot" if you could call it that. I can't wait to see where Square takes this, I absolutely love plots like this. It's so relatable; you know when a new guy/girl comes around and your friend ditches you, and sometimes they team up to make fun of- aaaaaand I digress. Hopefully in the next game or maybe even another side game (I personally don't mind them) they could show us what happened between BBS and Days.

Aside from the RPG elements,the gameplay really isn't much different when your beating up hoards of heartless. Okay, it is invalid to say that anything "fits" in Kingdom Hearts when you have Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters in the mix. Including the live action movie characters. But the contribution? I don't know how exactly the 3rd installment will turn out to be like. Why didn't I notice this? Actually, sora is wearing a onesie if you look carefully.

If Square could feature Final Fantasy and TWEWY why not the Bouncer? I would be really interested in seeing a character or even world from that game. Expecially after seeing this graphic. ....Wait a minute. I think I am seeing Sora's future...

WARNING: LONG SEMI-RANT/BLUNT STATEMENTS. Sorry if I censored out some swearing, this looks like an innocent site. Am I the only one who thinks the Disney/Final Fantasy/original/etc. characters were not used to their full potential? I mean there is so much god dang source material the developers could have used from the games and movies. Heck, they could have put more effort into adding some spice to the original plot and characters. But really, it all comes off as if they were "playing it safe". Original Content: A lot of the original Kingdom Hearts characters are pretty bland, and there are others who aren't completely bland but just one-dimensional and follow a trope to the death. Take Kairi for example, she's basically the typical heroine/protagonist's love interest. There was so much potential that could have come from her, she could have had some quirks that spiced up her personality: she could have been very secretly overprotective or obsessive over Sora (note: negative traits can make a character interesting to watch), she could have been that goofy friend or anything! But noooo~ She had to be the perfect pretty lil' girl next door because f*** originality and creativity. And I could go on about how Twilight Town characters are full of the generic happy helpers or generic bullies/antagonists from a kid's movie and much more. But I don't have that kind of patience. Disney: Okay this bothered me the most. Even if they don't contribute to the main story that much, they could have at least stayed true to their character and made them interesting. Jack Sparrow hardly had a personality in the game, what happened to the movie version?! What happened to the sassy Sparrow that ate peanuts out of his hair? And (warning: unpopular opinion) Mickey feels like a Gary-Stu to me, I don't know why, but I get those vibes. Donald and Goofy feel very watered down. That ONE SCENE that had the opportunity to be one of Goofy's goofy moment (when he got hit with a rock) should have been slapstick! Instead it was a false tradegy. It's like a Canadian commercial. Still, I know the Disney characters shouldn't be completely involved, but they are very under-involved. They are just there for the sake of having Disney characters there in happy-helper quests. Whenever I play through Disney worlds, it feels like I'm side tracking myself even if it's a part of the game. Final Fantasy: Yeah... aside from the fact that Square included the obvious cash cows ( :sad: I'm never going to see FF9 in KH) I don't know how the KH timeline lies within the FF universe, but I felt they should have used not-so-broody Cloud instead of broody Cloud. Other than that, it's the same case with the original characters. TWEWY: I don't know jack about that game, so it passes. My most prominent desire for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be that they make s*** interesting. But, I highly doubt that would happen since it's pretty much too late. And pretty much from the experience I have with other fans, and a majority of them it seems, they don't seem like the kind who appreciates that kind of change. Srsly it like any change out of the norm and it "ruins the experience" even though it has never happened. So even if not that much can be done, my second biggest desire is that they can do what they can to make this interesting and make sense at the last moment. Maybe in later installments it can slowly work on building character? I do feel very alone on this, but give me credit. You know the developers are doing something wrong if their fans make their own characters more interesting then they do. That's how I got into the fandom in the first place, via the creations of creative fans like you (even if most of it was yaoi). And guess what, the original content didn't live up to my hype about it. Moral of the story, don't be afraid to take risks.

I agree, but the GoL plot twist wouldn't make much sense unless they get some form of attention or character developement in 3.
