Alastor gave a man whose existence was hollow and meaningless emotion and a renewed drive. A good fight is what he needed. I mean I said it in one of his themes, tbf.

- Soren Monroe - Front Flank - Soren's words betrayed his intentions, as Mariel was able to respond in time to avoid as much damage as she could. It was then, that Soren heard the call of what sounded like one of Mariel's comrades...and the crackling of powerful energies hurtling towards him. Sifrei's Light Spear was too fast for Soren to completely avoid as it had impacted upon his lower-right back, his rock hard skin of his demonic form protecting him for the most part, though the Spear had embedded, but not completely and the handle fell to the ground under its own weight. Having had his arm gnawed on by a fearsome beast form of Helios's, the pain of this was nothing in comparison. Despite this, he almost immediately reached for the spear in pain, growling quietly but non-indicative of his pain. Soon after, a horn sounded and Soren, along with all other Kilkis Troops recognized it as an indicator that a flank had fallen. This battle was over and Mariel relented in her vicious attacks to listen to what Shiva had to say. Soren met Mariel's glare in turn, removing the spear as he did, his magma blood had left the tip white-hot and melted as he dropped it to the floor. "I am sorry for my betrayal, Mariel...but, my duty to the Queen has trumped all else...later than it should have, but...as they say, better late than never...I don't expect forgiveness from anyone here, for anything I've done." Soren stated calmly, never taking his eyes off of Mariel's own until he was finished, when his attention was taken by Shiva, who said something rather unexpected, offering him sanctuary and healing at the camp. Soren was utterly taken aback inside, but outside he managed to remain mostly composed as he lightly bowed and responded. "That, is all that I ask for, my queen...thank you." The ex-Sentinel spoke sincerely and softly, his stand becoming more tall and secure rather than hunched over and wounded as he watched Shiva sound her own horn in retreat and departed for the camp. During this, an imposing man in armour had arrived, a massive angelic wing sprouting from his back and his aura radiant. Soren couldn't help but feel warmed by his presence, as if being near him brought him just the slightest of inner peace, which was enough for him to approach after Shiva had departed. "You...remind me of that Maxis fellow, if you don't mind me saying." At this point, Soren was relaxed, if a little awkward. - Meksis, the Chaperone, Armour of Light - Front Flank - Shiva's orders were heard clear as crystal and Meksis swiftly put away both of his weapons and reached for his horn, placing it to his visor and blowing into it, the horn's call echoed through the field, ensuring all that were under his watch would hear his signal. To this day, he still wondered how he could blow into a horn with no lips. Or lungs for that matter. Never mind, he gave Shiva a deep bow and quickly rose to his feet when Soren addressed him. Meksis couldn't help but chuckle at Soren's remark, deactivating Solidarity of the Chaperone as he did, returning to his base form and looking over Soren's wounds. "He and I are more similar than you think...you, are the Sentinel, Soren Monroe, correct?" Meksis questioned the Demonic Fey, who shifted in place a bit, seeming on edge. "I was the Sentinel of Isopolis...now, I am a traitor." Soren replied, causing Meksis to suddenly step forward aggressively and seem to snap. "A traitor you are indeed! You turned your back on Shiva and everything you stood for! Were it up to me, I would execute you where you stand for such treachery...!" Meksis pointed and thrust his arm towards and away from Soren, who simply listened silently, further dismayed at what he had done for these past few months. "...is what I would've said 20 minutes ago." Meksis then relaxed just as quickly as he had seemingly snapped, which caused Soren, having seemed to unflappable in the face of such deserved rage, exclaimed in surprise. "E-Excuse me..?!" Meksis gave a calm, friendly chuckle, taking Soren by his shoulder. "I saw all that you did. You still fought for the queen after realizing where you stood in this world, that I can respect and I do so greatly. Shiva is right to find you hard to trust, as you seem like quite the flip-flop and yet, in my eyes? Well..." The Chaperone patted Soren's shoulder as he stepped back a little and eyed Soren up and down, ultimately pointing at the demon's chest. "You never really stopped being loyal to her, did you?" Soren was totally caught off guard by Meksis's conclusion, he could not have been more correct, looking down to his right in both shame and relief. "...hmph...you're right...I had second thoughts the moment I entered Raiden's villa, only worsened by his inability to commit to the cause he had rallied everyone else to to begin with. I, had considered leaving...only one man had kept me on the side of Mystras." Soren looked back at Meksis, sighing deeply. "Ren Mordecai, the Wind Drake...and escaped convict, under my watch as Sentinel. He--" Upon a sudden, he stopped short with a sharp gasp, looking towards the Mystran Armies, a feeling of dread settling in. Little did he notice that Meksis had done the same, though his dread was far worse, with a more immediate grief weighing him down. "Looks like I got him after all, Meksis...hehehehahahaa..." "You!...damn you...! ...who the hell are you?" "I'm you now, Meksis...we are as one~" "Never! You are an infection! Nothing resembling a part of me and I wouldn't have it any other way!" "Aww, I'm hurt~ ...not quite as hurt as Reeeeeeenn~" - Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline - Breathing deeply and with considerable rasping, Nergal was able to laugh just a little bit, though he did cough as he did so. He was alive. More than ever, in fact...all thanks to Alastor. As the horns for retreat sounded, he noticed Alastor preparing to take his leave. Nergal rolled his body to the left, placing a fist and his forearm across his chest and mouthing "Thank you..." to him, smiling and hoping he would see Nergal before he teleported away. Once he had, Nergal had to relax, his arm falling to the dirt again, his broken, relieved laughter sounding once more as he gripped the dirt in his weak fingers, coughing the slightest bit of blood onto the dirt and his hands, which only served to make him more happy. His blood was a bright red, as it should be. Had he bled mere moments ago, it would be a dull and lifeless red.

Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Soren Monroe, To Hell with the Titles For Now - Center Flank - Even on the battlefield, Shiva's words held much power and sway on Soren's will, despite his treachery and the negative attitude she displayed, looking down upon Soren for his mistakes and seemingly flip-flop allegiance. Soren internally sighed deeply, no one would dream of trusting a revolving door of trust such as he, not even one he has remained loyal to for more than a thousand years. Yet still, Soren sensed something was...amiss, with Shiva, almost as if she took pity on him. Bah, it would be presumptuous of him to suggest such a thing...wouldn't it? Her words wore down on him and he was left mostly disgusted with himself...but he'd have little time to think on it, like Shiva suggested. Mariel hadn't taken kindly to Soren's heel-turn and was still fuming with rage at the Queen. She leaped high and landed hard, the force of her powerful landing along with the extension of her mighty wings forced Soren aside into a tumble across the ground, face-first into the dirt. The Sentinel picked himself up into a kneel in short order, growling to himself as he did. "I do not beg for mercy, Guardian..." Soren clenched his fist tightly, flames gathered in his closed palm and intensified quickly as he brought himself back to a standing position and began a wind-up with said arm. "On this day, the one who will be begging...is YOU!" Soren had to keep Mariel off of Queen Shiva, so he unleashed a concentrated Torrent of Flame towards her, immediately following the flames with a battle charge, infusing his fist with Hellfire and aiming to sucker punch Mariel in the face. If that succeeded, he would follow up with a quick grab of her damaged Right Wing and would twist it in an attempt to break it or at least restrain the Guardian Angel. "Whatever I choose to do from here matters not, my queen! In this battle, I serve you! My life belongs to you, no one else. And this Guardian Angel will burn for laying a hand upon you!!" Soren declared in rage against Mariel and duty to Shiva. This war has brought much into perspective for Soren Monroe. Not everything, but at least what was important...unity with the Humans would still be a dream of his, but he would pursue it another way, one without the treachery and deceit...for now, he knew where his loyalties lay, regardless of what she said, Soren Monroe was Queen Shiva's Sentinel. - Mad Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left, V.S Ren Mordecai - A satisfied and sinister chuckle sounded from beneath Meksis's helmet as the Black Dragon's tail was severed with ease, crashing to the ground, with Meksis making an almost angelic descent to the ground after it, floating slowly and softly, but he was not at all a being of Deliverance or Protection, at least, not for now. The will of the True Meksis was still fighting back after all, this infection had to wrap things up quickly. But that would become...difficult, as the desperate and wounded Ren screamed for his friend's name, who responded in short order, shielding the Red-headed Fey with his body. The White Dragon then prepared itself for battle, threatening Meksis and remaining ever protective of his comrade. "Oh, what a disappointment...I was beginning to enjoy hearing his screams. Spilling his blood was an easy task for a target so slow and cumbersome, what makes you think I'll struggle with you, Helios!? I'll sooner see you as a skinned hide than give up now!!" A dark, demented cackle bellowed from Meksis, who gestured mainly with his head, slowly, yet sadistically, his distorted and doubled voice enough of an indication if his dark aura wasn't enough already to Helios, that Meksis was not himself. "Now, allow me t-to...demon...demons--a-augh, AAGH!" The Defiled would not get his wish. The Chaperone had mustered up enough mental strength to push back his infection, causing the currently Defiled-Controlled Meksis to contort and clutch his head in pain, stepping back a few paces in his frenzy to wrest control back. "N-NO! I-I'm not finish--finished yet, Meksis!! I will not--Yes, y-you are! I will not bend...to the likes of you!" The nobility and integrity of the True Meksis shone through in his voice first, then as Meksis extended his arms and chest outwards, in his aura as his Light shone through the Darkness, the Aura receding back into Meksis's back of the neck with a yell of excursion and triumph. The blackened angel wing was white with golden feathers once more and light energy poured freely and smoothly from his helmet face again as he immediately refocused and stepped forward again, gesturing to Helios rapidly. "Helios, hold! Listen! I am not that wretched being anymore! Take Ren to a healer immediately!" He implored the White Dragon, taking a moment after he had made his point and sighed deeply before looking down at his hand...that hand had nearly viciously and mercilessly taken the life of Ren...he nearly murdered him...no, the infection did. Looking straight ahead to Helios again, he spoke sternly. "I'm sorry for what has just transpired. I had no idea this infection had invaded me, nor did I know it possessed the power to subdue my will and dominate my body. Rest assured, I will do all I can to control this new power and deal with the infection accordingly...and...if you can, allow me to speak to Ren after this is all over. I promise I will not hurt him. Now go!" Meksis concluded, igniting his aura of Light and drawing his Greatsword and Empowered Greatshield, flying away at high speed towards Queen Shiva, landing just next to her, his aura powerful, but warming to those on the side of Kilkis Seres, and as such Queen Shiva. "My queen, are you all right!?" He asked urgently, prepared to shift back to a lower powered state so he could heal her if she needed it, but would otherwise remain in his Solidarity Form. - Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, Fighting for his Life - Nergal's desperation was abundantly clear, he needed to escape Indignation or he would surely die and painfully so. But while Rhaedyn's barrier protected him from the sheer power of the mighty incantation, he found himself unable to pass any further, as Indignation had created a massive Barrier Field all around him. This power was of an ingenious design, all of this destruction and none would be able to escape on short notice, locking them in a Cage of Death. Nergal however had more than short notice and frantically searched for a weakness. "The Glyph Runes!" Nergal's thoughts centered quickly when he focused on the runes, perhaps they were vulnerable to the Void? He had little magic left, after expending it earlier in The Last Blast and he would need to recover if he escaped, being in no state to fight anymore battles for a while. It was unlikely to work, but he had to try. Nergal thrust his hands upon the nearest Rune and channeled all of his remaining Void Energy into it, groaning under the strain but his expression was of focus, not of weakness. To his surprise and frenzied delight, the Runes crackled and weakened quickly, but Nergal had run out of Void Energy, if he continued to channel he'd be killing himself by draining more Void power from his own Lifeforce. So naturally he refrained from doing that, instead, he rested his left hand on the barrier...and began punching the barrier with his right, focusing his barrage upon the most cracked and weakest point he had created. These feelings that were rushing through his body, his lack of a heart was inconsequential, Nergal was deathly afraid and desperate. In this vital moment, nothing mattered anymore. Not his plan, not Alastor, not even Queen Shiva...all that mattered was his survival. Nergal's grunting grew louder and more frantic as he landed punch after punch until finally, the segment of barrier he was assailing buckled and shattered, allowing him to reach his arms through and attempt to squeeze through with all his might. For a brief moment, Nergal thought he would not make it and simply cried something out... "Rhaedyn!!!" The name of the Iron Lord seemingly gave him the last bout of strength he needed to escape Indignation's destruction, falling to his knees but he still crawled away as swiftly as he could, only completely collapsing when he was behind the Iron Lord, completely out of breath and shattered...but alive.

Aurion, you glorious bastard...your fight will not be forgotten. Rest in peace. This War is becoming sad... Morana's dead, Aurion's dead, Ren's wounded and on Helios's back trying not to die to a Darkness-Crazed/Infected Meksis, Soren's troubles are far from over, Shiva's probably still having a mental breakdown and through all of this, there's still countless soldiers fighting and killing each other, even if they were friends before the War. Mystics, Overworld is amazing and I personally thank you for making it possible, and everyone else for keeping it alive. Rest assured my post is coming, friend.

Overworld Sign-ups and Discussion [CLOSED]
Well frigg. To be fair, he's going back to what he was originally loyal to, meaning he's a bit less treacherous than the average Demon, though that won't matter to Mariel so Soren has less reason to care. If he survives the next post, he's going to be sure she knows that.

Overworld Sign-ups and Discussion [CLOSED]
Facing Shiva at all brought a crushing reality upon Soren; That he simply could not betray or kill her, even for a species he has such faith in. Ren was the one thing that pushed Soren to Mystras's side in the end. Without him, he probably would've gone back to Kilkis, or just drifted as a wanderer. He treated him well as a prisoner and recently, he gave him something to do, I dare say live for. But, in the face of everything, Soren's loyalty to Shiva trumps all, despite their disagreements, he was always a very loyal Sentinel. He now knows for certain where he stands and even if it won't further his dream of the Overworld and World Below United, it's better than the alternative. I do feel a little bad for Mariel. Sudden Back-up is now a Heel-Face Turner, who knew?

Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Center Flank, V.S Queen Shiva w/ Mariel - Queen Shiva's initial words were half-expected, as she hypothesized that the Humans would return to their malicious and violent ways against the Fey a thousand years from now, should they be allowed to. It was considered too great of a risk for her to take, despite her understanding of what her former Sentinel was telling her. Shiva's tone was grim, seemingly diligent and stoic befitting of a Monarch. Shiva's body language however, conveyed an anger, borne of desperation. It was then she called Soren out, understanding what he's saying, but asking him if he could really refute her, despite everything. Shiva's words stung Soren, in fact far more than he had realized as he audibly and sharply gasped, now beginning to discern his predicament and his innermost feelings on this whole situation. In the face of Queen Shiva, deciding the fate of Humanity and Fey...Soren was afraid. Uncertain. Shaken. Despondent. "I...! ...I-I..." He barely uttered out his reply, Soren's breathing now becoming slightly rapid as he felt his head become heavy, feeling unable to look Shiva in the eyes, his mind frantically telling him to look elsewhere, alternating between the ground beneath them, his own sword, Mariel, both armies surrounding them and finally his free hand, now struggling to remain a clenched fist, faltering repeatedly. Both Shiva and Mariel had begun to attack however, leaving Soren oddly awestruck...and hyperventilating before he charged forward himself, sheathing his Claymore and yelling at the top of his lungs, his demonic bellow was followed up with Soren simply thrusting his arms between the Monarch and Guardian Angel and pushing them both away from each other. "ENOUGH!!" Soren shouted at them both as he pushed them away, breathing heavily, his body moving with his deep and rapid inhales and exhales...the former Sentinel then turned to Shiva, his heart sinking as he made eye contact again. "You...so, you...truly believe that...there is no chance? No chance at all for the Human Race? Not even an inkling of such...?!" Soren's voice was shaking, as was his body, his feelings a large and confused mix, with two emotions standing out among the rest: Rage and Despair. Soren let out a brief roar of frustration and anguish as he threw his arms to his sides aggressively before speaking once more. "I've been drifting between two sides ever since Raiden's Infiltrator entered the Isopolis Shrine! Never sure of myself or where I stood in this world!" Soren ranted angrily, frantically gesturing at himself, Shiva and Raiden's Army. "Doubt festered in my heart since I entered his Villa, jumping at the opportunity the first chance I had and suffering for it! ...I thought, before the war started, I was firmly on Raiden's Side...yet here I am now!! On this battlefield! Facing you! Queen Shiva de la Alexandria, Ruler of Kilkis Seres, my former Commander and a person I genuinely hold...a high level of respect for..." Soren's tone shifted from maddened aggression to one more somber and miserable. "And the only way that's presented to me, to bring a new lease in life to a race condemned to misery, a depression and a future only yielding a slow, painful death as a whole...is to kill you?! And my decision on to commit to this action...is the presence and will...of an escaped convict, Ren Mordecai, his escape being my fault for deserting my post! I've been such a fool! The Fool of the Ages!!" Soren Monroe roared his new title to the skies, taking a moment to let his mistakes sit into his soul before lowering his extended arms and turning to properly face Shiva, his head looking down to the dirt, his face one of contemplation. "I was so sure of myself. Now, standing here, I realize...to kill you? I cannot. I will not. It is not the way. Even in our previous talks about Humans...I've always, respected you too much to go against you, even partially...and now, I commit to this once again." Soren then looked straight ahead to Shiva, taking a few steps towards her. "You, are my Queen. And I, your Sentinel." He then looked to his side, scoffing in resignation as he remembered. "Or...if you prefer..." Soren then took a knee in front of Shiva, his head down and eyes closed. "...your subject of execution...for my crimes of desertion...and high treason...I accept my fate if you deem it so...your majesty." - Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left Flank, V.S Black Dragon Ren - The Black Dragon did not endure the full brunt of Meksis's torrent of Darkness, but nonetheless the bestial form of Ren Mordecai was wounded and in agony, as such he was desperate, shaking Meksis from his jaw and soaring to the skies after another torrent of Wind, the Dark Armour seeing that his tail was making a move to wrap around him. Very sure of what he was going to do and knowing Ren was weakening, Meksis simply relaxed, allowing the tail to wrap around him. Immediately, he would feel the pressure of the tail squeezing him tightly along with the whiplash of the Dragon taking to the ground and the impact of his body crashing into a tree. A sneer was upon Meksis as he then latched onto Ren's tail, rather than allow himself to be tossed away into the open, his sharp gauntlets digging into his flesh as he made a slow, steady climb up the appendage, climbing until he was sure of where he wanted to attack. At the base of Ren's tail, Meksis charged up Dark Energy in his right hand and released it from Ren, only to unleash this as a concentrated Beam of Dark Energy, a Cutting Beam. The motions he made with his arm and wrist made clear his intent to cut off the Black Dragon's Tail, guiding his aim so it would be true, wanting to make Ren suffer as much as possible. - Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, V.S Alastor, w/ Rhaedyn - The power of Nergal's attack subsided, a dust cloud around them both but it was quickly settling. Initially, Nergal was certain he had at least done a number on Alastor, feeling the Storm Lord's power seem to diminish...that was, until he saw the kneeling lord rise to his feet, a reptilian eye now visible. All the Remnant could feel was an overwhelming sense of dread, which lead into shock as Alastor teleported in front of him, his expression very telling of his fear. Fear, like he had not felt for thousands of years. The resulting assailing of Nergal battered and beat the man badly, knocked into the air, barraged with lightning fast slashes utilizing a new energy and then sent straight into an intimate relationship with the ground, face first into the dirt, his body and bones rattled and his foundations compromised. As Nergal attempted to pick himself up, he met eyes with Alastor, who had teleported 10 meters away from him and was beginning an incantation. The Remnant was on one knee as he saw this, only just standing on both legs before a glyph formed around him. A merciless prelude to a Gravity Spike that suppressed Nergal, almost forcing him to fall again, sheer force of will was keeping him buckling, but standing. The high gravity was flattening, suffocating, yet only the preparation, as Alastor conjured a massive, 60 meter tall column of glyphs and energy, calling "INDIGNATION" as this immense power was manifesting...leading into a bright flash. Time felt slowed to Nergal for he had only just looked up to see it approach and with it...his end. ...or so he thought. Rhaedyn Thane conjured a powerful barrier, a wall of runes and he called for Nergal, warning him that this move spelled death for him and nothing less. Roaring at the top of his lungs, Nergal mustered up whatever speed and energy he could and made a desperate, mad dash towards Rhaedyn and his protection. Never had Nergal feared for his life, nor much of anything...Alastor had granted him this gift, he would not allow him to take it away from him this day...he just needed to make it to the Iron Lord's safety.

Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Center Flank, V.S Queen Shiva w/ Mariel - The Queen of Kilkis Seres was not a feeble warrior, far from it, only a fool would ever make that assumption, but not even Soren would be prepared for her true might. She met each and every one of his blows exactly, despite her battered state from her bouts with Mariel, calmly retorting Soren's speech and stating that the Humans who were at fault back then are responsible for this. After Soren's Hellfire Orbs were dodged, Shiva called forth an Ice Centaur, wielding a massive Ice Axe and charged Soren's position with it. The Frost-based construct seemed formidable, but Soren easily avoided its horizontal strike and dashed a little closer to it, retaliating by thrusting his open hand towards it, expelling a thin bloom of Hellfire, its heat intensified and right in the Centaur's face, the Ice melting away quickly and causing it to reel in pain. Seizing the moment, Soren bashed away the Centaur's weapon and impaled it with his Claymore, dragging the blade to it's right and swiftly ending the Centaur, which collapsed to the ground before Soren turned sharply to Shiva and Mariel. "I am of the belief that times change, Shiva! I told you, the Humans only attack out of desperation, not of the malice we saw long ago!" He pointed at her aggressively as he spoke, but he calmed down a little when he continued. "I won't deny what I am. My demonic nature doesn't lend itself well to my actions. But I cannot stand by and watch them die!" Following this, Soren voicelessly charged Shiva, attempting to force her blade away from Mariel and initiate a clash, wishing for Shiva to face him directly. "You do, however, raise a point...Humans did meet our generosity with open warfare. But even after all this time, tell me why! Tell me why you refuse to believe they can change! Do you truly think them irredeemable?!" Soren seemingly pleaded with Shiva, his aggression bled away to an insatiable curiosity. "My queen, answer me this, I implore you." Soren's inflections conveyed a deadly serious tone, he wanted to know, he needed to know. Many a time he and Shiva had discussed the Humans, every time they disagreed...yet he always respected her, perhaps too much, as he never asked the hard questions. Until now. - Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left, V.S Black Dragon Ren - His slashes landed true, but Meksis's lance had been deflected. Now, the Black Dragon was upon him, jaws open, vying to savage his black angel wing. Yet, Meksis could only chuckle as he chose to allow Ren to bite at him, but not his wing, for he flew more directly into the path of Ren's jaws, placing his armour self in his wing's stead, knowing that Ren's teeth, though mighty, would have trouble biting through. Seizing his chance, Meksis resisted the clasp of Ren's jaws by pushing them outwards with his arms and legs, giving him just enough leeway to extend a hand towards the Dragon's uvula and simply expelled pure Dark Energy towards it and down Ren's throat, with the aim to cause even more pain. "I don't care how long it takes, I will leave you writhing in the dirt!" Meksis spoke with sadistic glee and a venomous tone, resummoning his Greatsword just to stab into Ren's tongue and kick himself free of his clasp and hover in front of him, awaiting the results. That Dark Energy would bring much pain and could potentially explode inside of him, as it was quite unstable. - Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, Charging Up, V.S Alastor w/ Rhaedyn - Nergal's power was rising rapidly, he was truly putting everything he had into this attack, his energy beginning to cascade around him, but his aura was also beginning to focus. The sheer power being generated was enough to lift dirt and stones around him as if they were no longer affected by gravity, enough to begin shifting the clouds above them and shake the Earth around him. The "man of the void" as Alastor put it, was growling, roaring and straining, his energy building up as he now extended both of his arms forward sharply, placing both of his open hands together by their bottoms, his palms facing Alastor and his fingers curled. Nothingness Energy was now concentrated into his hands, occasionally sparking as Ball Lightning in the middle of both hands, at first a small spark, but it soon grew enough to trail Lightning across the ground towards, Alastor. A mere display of the power, not the attack, for the electricity simply went past and around Alastor, their energies negligible in the face of what Nergal was preparing. His body twitching, his muscles seemingly grown due to the exertion if only minorly, now Nergal was really feeling it. "Now! If you truly wish to prove your strength! Stay right where you are! Hrrrrgh!" Nergal would begin to chuckle confidently regardless of what Alastor said or did, his move was ready, he had concentrated all of the Energy he had to spare, it was building to a breaking point in his clasp. For but a moment, he wondered what might happen...would he explode? Would the Overworld be unable to cope with this sheer power? Or would he simply prove Alastor is not invincible...? Whatever the case, Nergal truly felt alive in this tense moment and began to release himself, staring straight at Alastor. "Now! TAKE MY POWER! TO! IT'S! LAST DROP! FINAL FLAAAASH!!" With one final roar, Nergal released the energy in its entirety, firing a massive yellow-white coloured beam at Alastor, that seemed to grow in size to a massive scale, enough to envelop whomever was in its path in a constant stream of destructive energy. It would rocket towards Alastor at high speed and whether or not it hit him, it would continue past or through him across a vast distance, the sheer power exerted continued to shake the ground and anyone within a thousand miles would see this attack. In fact, the beam was so potent it would continue into the far horizon and beyond, beyond the reach of the Overworld and as far as it can go before something got in its way.
