^This I had so much trouble with him, even on Beginner Mode, both with Terra and Aqua. It may have been hard because I was around Level 25, but I found him very difficult.

If trophies stack this time, critical mode. If they don't, I'll start with Critical, then Proud, then Beginner for the trophies requiring you to do special stuff like not changing equipment and finishing the game in a specific amount of time, and after I've collected all the other trophies for KH2FM I'll collect the final trophy for Standard Mode, giving me the Platinum Trophy.

MF is unfair, but not hard. I just picked up BBS again and fought him, I won on my second try. The hard thing is getting out of his combo once he hits you, as you can only heal and get hit right after that OR roll away and risk being hit again, thus dying. The unfair thing is that you he can take away your whole life bar in one combo. His fight is just spamming dodge roll and Thunder Surge when he's open, there's no real strategy to it. If you're good at dodging for minutes, he's easy, if you're not good at it, he is hard as heck. For me, he was only hard the first few times, now I can almost always defeat him whenever I challenge him Lingering Will is much fairer as you can actually adapt to his attacks instead of just dodging for five minutes, but he'll also kick your ass if you don't watch out or begin the fight unprepared. I'd say Lingering Will is harder to defeat, much more fun to fight and much more rewarding.

I'd consider myself pretty good, although I've never completed KH2 on anything higher than beginner (I was 10 back then), but I've completed every KH game at least once on proud (not critical yet, I'll do that in KH2 and BBS).I also defeated every secret boss at least once on a pretty low level (around 30 for Mysterious Figure and Vanitas' Lingering Spirit in BBS, Sephiroth on Level 39 in KH2 and Sephiroth on around Level 50 in KH1). I'm doing a Level 1 Run in KH1FM right now, and I seriously have to change my aggressive playstyle, Guard Armor destroyed me on my first try, but I managed to defeat it when laying defensively. I'm pretty excited for a Level 1 Run in KH2FM as it's much more balanced there, with all those extra abilities and stuff.

Think of Cure/Cura/Curaga. Pretty often,I assume even more on Level 1 since the low stats will get me down to 1 HP pretty fast, so one more extra Cure could save my life pretty often I guess.

In KH1 you gain abilities through leveling, not through special fights, thus rendering me unable to get any abilities except for those that you receive in the course of the game, so I don't benefit from any abilities I'd get earlier by choosing the shield. Choosing the staff will give me one more extra MP, wouldn't that be better since I'll probably die in one or two hits anyway?

I'm gonna start a Level 1 run pretty soon, so do you have any tips for me how to do good? I already looked for a guide, but I didn't find one, so I hope you guys have some tips or general strategies for me. For example, I'd need to know what to pick in the beginning of the game (Sword, Shield or Staff) and so on, so please help me :happy:

I don't think they'll add them, and besides, I got used to TVA not having capes, so giving them capes would actually take some time to get used to

I kinda forgot introducing myself when I registrated, so here we go Well, I'm Alex, 16 years old (pretty damn close to 17 though, just 8 days 'till my birthday ) and from Germany (hope you're not prejudiced against certain nationalities because of their past, as I experience this quite often on the internet) and thus my english isn't perfect, but I'd say you should be able to understand me and I really like to play video games (who would've guessed? This is a site about a video game series, after all ) I mainly play RPG's like Skyrim, Oblivion, the older Final Fantasy games (gonna try out VIII and IX soon) and Kingdom Hearts (quite obvious), but also Shooters (yeah, also CoD, blame me for that, it's fun ) like Bioshock, Battlefield or Crysis. I prefer the work of mind as that'll get me propably further in the future than being sporty (do you say sporty anyways? Not sure ), so I don't do much sport beside school sport. In real life I'm quite a funny guy, but I really hate having to talk to complete strangers if I don't know them at all, but if my friends know them I can get along better with people I don't know. Online and to close friends and my family that's a totally different story, because then I'm very open and not shy at all (I tend to be the one to be always joking). As for music, I mainly listen to german underground rappers for example JAW, his lyrics are very explicit at times though, (not in the way of gangster stuff, but rather sociopathic) but they shouldn't be taken too serious, as it's more about the punchlines and comparisons rather than the content, except for more deep songs like 'Im Feuer der roten Sonne' by JAW (I suggest you listen to it if you understand German), which is about a girl mainly living in secludedness and having mental problems, who ends up suiciding. Some people tend to say this artist has no class, but you can only say that if you take his lyrics dead serious. I also listen to other rappers who are more known, like the hip hop group Genetikk (their style is more like the Wu Tang Clan and Eminem) or the rapper Favorite. I think FF lost its charm by now. VI,VII and X (only ones I've played intense) were great games with great stories, but I just can't get into the newer games.

Well, you can't say for sure that he meant it the way it was discussed in this topic. but isn' it kinda obvious? I think they wouldn't have him say such a line with no deeper meaning behind it in Xion's death scene, as it isn't quite fitting. It is however fitting if you assume that he connects friendship with ice cream (sounds kinda silly writing this) and consider the fact that he thinks his friendship with Axel is over due to him leaving Org XIII, so I think Black Star is right.

That would've been a pretty good battle, although I prefer how it was solved in the end, I mean who didn't like flying in nothingness and tossing buildings at Xemnas' dragon?

I recently finished those missions in 1.5, took some time though but most of them were fun. Many people say that some KH2 Gummi Ship missions are hard as hell, what do you guys think about that (I never played them, so I'm asking)? Are they comparable to the missions in KH1FM, in terms of difficulty and frustration (screw you End of the World Mission 3 ) or are they harder ?

Well, they weren't as bad as they were in Kingdom Hearts 1 (Kairis fish face still gives me nightmares ;_; ). I wouldn't mind if they updated them, but I doubt they will do so ( they didn't update them in 1.5, right?).

Remember Square's promotional screenshots for 1.5? They were edited to make it look better. I don't trust Square in terms of graphics when it comes to trailers or screenshots. I attached one of them compared to actual in game graphics, see for yourself.

You may have noticed that Re:CoM didn't look as good as KH FM, at least it didn't for me. Character models were blurry from a distance or during fast movements. Considering that, I'm kinda worried that the same might happen to BBS. The game is a PSP game as well, so I'm also worried about the texture quality on the HD version, as they might be too lazy to improve them. They look horrible on a TV screen. I'm kinda scared that they'll just crank up the resolution for BBS and do nothing else about it. What do you think? Will they fix the blurry characters from Re:CoM and improve the texture quality or just crank up the resolution?

Since the battles against the five members from KH CoM (Marluxia, Vexen, Lexaeus,Zexion and Larxene) were exclusive to Japan they never got english voice acting in KH2 FM. Now that 2.5 is coming to us, I was wondering which battle sounds/cries/whatever will be used for the english/european version. Do you think they'll just keep the japanese sounds or replace them with the recent Re:CoM sounds, since in that game they all had english sounds? I highly doubt they'll record brand new sounds, so I'd say they'll use the english Re:CoM sounds (although I'd prefer the japanese sounds, why can't they give us a language selection option ;_; ). What do you think they should use for these battles?

This has been bugging me for ages ._. Pretty much at the beginning of the Deep Jungle World you gotta collect some slides to show them to Tarzan. There's one slide which shows a building (most likely a castle?) and Sora says it seems familiar to him, although he never left Destiny Islands before. How does he know that place and what place is it anyway? I was wondering about this since I got Kingdom Hearts 1 back in 2002 and I wasn't able to figure it out until today.
