The fact that they removed Sephiroth's feline eyes in KH 1 really helps to drive home how thought through the plot was when the first game was produced. I love it! (Foreteller Sephiroth would be such a mess. 8| )

Nomura from the start has said how moving to such an advanced system was going to take them so much longer to animate, and even expressed that it has stressed him out. I really don't think it's ridiculous for them to have nothing to say in regards to it. However, it would have been nice if they could have continued to say "it's coming along nicely, but the animation is taking such a long time. I really hope everyone will enjoy the improved graphics!" or something of the sort.
