thats the best part of this game. you can actually make up theories for the plot because of all the characters and history it has. ahhhhh whatever happens its just gonna be great. Yeah but it was so different. Roxas had to be reabsorbed into Sora, passing on the time you spent leveling up to Sora. I think itd be kind of awkward to stop playing as Kairi. It would be cute for the tutorial to play as her, but at the same time, if she's still learning the basics that close to the begining, what the heck has yen sid been doing with his time.

That takes a lot of guts to mess with a system that originally worked. They've experimented a lot with all the possible different battling style in each game, and I hope that they bring a little something from each game to make kh3. EXCEPT THAT DROP STUFF GOSH THAT MADE ME SO STRESSED AND MADE MY HEAD SPIN ROUND N ROUND. what has been your favorite battling system so far out of all them?? and your least favorite that you dont want to be brought back in any way shape or form?

They've explained it pretty well in past games why Sora loses everything via castle oblivion for COM and Namine for II and needed to start over for the dream world test. So I think its gonna be that all the skills they learned stayed in the dream world or maybe the potential thing OP talked about. I looooveov elove love the idea of playing as Kairi. But I doubt theyd make us go through the trouble of playing and leveling up as her to just switch off to Sora?? it worked in kh 2 but if they were to do that Id think itd be lame to just cast her off like that. id like for her to continue being a playable character and have some sort of bbs ddd thing going with three protags switching through the story.

either way i still want them back. they could help fight off heartless/nobodies/unversed/ whatever.

No yeah, I know that!!!!!!!!!!! Im just saying, that everyones acting as if their the only ones that are going to participate in the battle. Im sure the 7 chosen will be their too obv, but I feel like the others can join in the final battle as well. I dont think it has to be those seven only.

LIke have you seen how many friends Sora has??? I just honestly see no reason why all OC's can't participate. Why keep it so exclusive?? Sure, you could find the necessary seven for the sake of finally seeing kingdom hearts, but why not just have all of them participate in the final xehanort battle? The only headcanon I could think of is Sora being all "Xehanort said their would only be seven guardians of light, we can't take more thats cheating!!" And that's still unlikely since all he talks about is his friends and how their his power. MUH THEORY: OKAY SO LIKE MY THEORY CONTAINS REFERENCES TO ALLLL OF THE GAME EVEN RE:CODED. I actually have a reason for that as well, the opening of DDD, shows a reference to all of the previous games, leading up to the final showdown. Re:coded being the hardest to realize, was referenced when Mickey took all the different Journals and used them to help summon some of the lost characters. Assuming its ventus, terra, and aqua that Riku is looking for, I wanna say that Sora is looking for a way to bring back Xion, Roxas, and Namine. Before you start flaming I just want to point at the endings to BBS, Re:Coded, and Dream Drop Distance. Xion, Roxas, and Namine were all included in those hurting that has still yet to be mended. So does anyone wanna tell me they were just included for no reason?? Do you guys really think Sora's just gonna be like oh well 3/6 is enough sorry ansem the wise im not gonna be able to undo all the sh** that you did and just forget about all the people who are gone because of me now. Namine and Xion are special cases of Nobodies. Namine was thought more of Kairi's shadow than a nobody. Kairi didn't need her before in KH2 in order to function correctly. It is possible for them to coexist. (Also possible for her to get a keyblade and join in the fight which honestly I would love because shes the only one thats left out of everything and doesnt even have a trio or even memories of just hanging out with friends,,, but whatever) I feel like if they were to get Namine back, they'd be able to get Xion and Roxas back too, since she has the power to control the memories of Sora and those connected to them. She wouldn't even have to actually take any of Sora's memories. Just the ones that belong to Xion, and Roxas. It'd be easy too since Roxas helped awaken those memories in DDD. If it makes you guys feel any better, they could use the data world too in order to help revive Xion. I feel like the data world has a lot of potential, it was brought back in DDD so I think theirs gonna be something going down with it in KH III. (OMG HOW CUTE WOULD IT BE IF YOU COULD TAKE ON MISSIONS IN IT or use it to time travel too or find more information they didnt know before idk who knows) SO YEAH basically once they have everyone back, after some cute cut scenes of them all being together and being the biggest cuties they all are, (IMAGINE LEAS REACTION TO HIS TWO BESTIES COMING BACK OMG AND IMAGINE NAMINE LIKE SHE WOULDNT KNOW WHAT DO WITH HERSELF SHES LIKE A FANGIRL OF THE SERIES SHES BEEN WATCHING EVERYONE BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SHE'S EVER BEEN INCLUDED AND GETS TO BE WITH PEOPLE WITHOUT DISCUSSING DARK MATTERS) they all go to the final showdown, including donald goofy n mickey. (maybe ansem teh wise and eraqus and yen sid too (DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON YEN SId NEVER DOING ANYTHING AT ALLLAZY PIECVE OF) but whatever i dont rlly care if they go). and while their all fighting the xii keepers of darkness (which leads to me to believe other playable characters???because their hasn't been a boss that has gone down without actually having to battle them) it shows alllll the final fantasy friends, the gang at twilight town, and twewy cast fighting off the excess amounts of heartless, nobodies, and unversed (assuming vanitas is back) in their respective worlds.(because i just really want another scene like the 1,000 heartless battle in kh2) YEAH UM SO I JUST REALLY WANTED TO VENT IDEC IF ANYBODY READS IT OKAY YES I DO BUT WHATEVER YEAH THATS WHAT I THINK AND I FINALLY POSTED IT ON THE INTERNET yay tl; dr hayner pence and olette are part of the 13 seekers of darkness r.i.p roxas

i love that picture of everyone in the game so much you dont even know and yeah i do think its going to be about new masters that are lost, considering everyones pretty sure its young xehanort and young eraqus talking. Either theyre introducing new characters into the series to guide sora about how last time the keyblade war was a mistake blablabla. Im guessing their gonna take on the role that the past avatars did in avatar the last airbender.

tbh i was so sad they didnt animate the "roxas thats a stick" scene i still think kh3 its not gonna be released until the lost of city of atlantis is found. which imo i dont mind the long wait because i want them to take their time making this game so it could turn out as beautiful as possible. i wouldnt even mind if they split it into a part 1 and 2 thing either bc more content to enjoy.

Like okay unlike most people in and out of the fandom, i actly really like kingdom hearts re:coded and understand that it has significance in the game (which is proly the least significant but what more can you expect from a game made for the cellphone) BUT GETTING BACK TO TOPIC: WHy couldn't they animate battle scenes for 358/2 days??? like if i had to choose can we have a do over and switch because i feel like the re:coded movie is gonna turn out better movie wise. I mean i could be wrong and it could end up like 358/2 days where they stop with the animated cutscenes and you have to read through some of the days but still if im not??? like im happy itll be nicer to watch but still idk im just mad i wish theyd done the same for 358/2 days does anyone feel me or understand me can i get an amen hallelujah TLDR say amen hallelujah

Thats prolly cos of the flow motion oversizing all the rooms in DDD. With all the big open spaces, it makes it easier to feel like their ghost towns. Also regarding OP I hope they turn out like the steam boat mickey world in kh2!!!!!!!! Where they have like, cute disney side characters that aren't necessarily important to the main plot, and serve as good character cameos and just inhabit the place.
