Alright, I already have colleges I want to look into and I don't have to worry about transportation well, I have a pretty good GPA but let's cross that bridge when we get there. That's exactly what I'm being cautious about and why I didn't look for schools yet when everyone in class was. Yeah, you're right and I figured stressing about it won't do me any good. I'll keep that in mind, Thanks! 1 or 2 years off? I could do that but I'm considering not to since we have 4-5 months of summer vacation before going to college, during that time I'm gonna do a little exploring and hopefully figure out what I want to be but If I don't I'll talk to my parents about taking 1 year off. Hmmm.. I could always spend a week or two with my Aunt's to see if I'm up to it. I'll give it a shot. Guys, I am so lost right now. I'll be finishing high school soon, extremely soon, and I'll have to go to college eventually,But I don't know what course to take!! and it's really bothering me. In class it seems like all of my classmates have already signed up for a scholarship to this school and that school and there I was doing nothing. nothing. I could've done the same at the time but I believed that I needed to know what course to take before I look for a college, that way looking for the right college would be easier! I'm not worrying about scholarship applications since lots of school are still accepting. I've been thinking what to take since sophomore year of high school... At first I was very passionate about cooking so I thought 'why not Culinary Arts?' so in my earlier years in high school I joined the culinary club, that didn't go so dandy for me and eventually my interest died out. I took an interest for Psychology so I asked one of my teachers what it was like (he studied 3 years) he told me if one was not mentally and emotionally stable it could prove difficult for them. cross out Psychology. I like to act. I could try acting and it seems I'm very good at it, Theater Arts maybe? but what do I do after that? Ughhh... My parents have been very patient with me and I extremely appreciate that but recently my dad has dropped the 'So, what do you want to be?' question. My parents suggested that I help my Aunts with their business, and it has something to do with agriculture and livestock. If I push through with it I instantly have a job immediately after graduating and I don't have to worry about anything else. The problem is, I just don't see myself doing that. I took a deep breathe and thought about what are the things that I love and would love to do? Video Games. I'd like to learn more about video games, animation, and how to make them. I'm really considering taking Gaming and Animation technology. I believe you should pursue a career in something you love, but I'm still afraid there's still a lot going through my head, a lot of 'What if's' 'Maybe's' and uncertainties. I don't want to end up regretting my decisions. so help? please? What are you taking up now? and why? me right now:
