Have a look at Shulk on Smashboards, he's taken fairly seriously there. Right now, I don't think many players want to put in the time to figure out how to play Shulk effectively, which is why you don't see him placing very high in tourneys. It's a shame.

While he is the center of a lot of memes, he's getting known as a great character because of his Monado Arts. He'll get his time to shine.

You should watch it. That's true, which is why I think they never made an original anime. Akame ga Kill was strange, because I don't think they expected to run out of manga content so quickly, so they threw that ending together. It could've been better of course.

Oh yeah, player skill is the biggest factor of course. But the characters also play a big factor as well. For instance, the Mega Man vs Game and Watch matchup is highly favorable for Game and Watch, because his bucket can absorb his Side Smash, side-b, and jab IIRC. Another would be the Rosalina vs Ness matchup, which is highly favorable for Rosalina, since her down-b can easily destroy Ness's recovery move.

Their Steins;Gate adaption was great imo. They had to write their own ending in AgK since the manga wasn't there yet. I didn't have too much problems with the ending. I can see why you don't like it though.

Oh yeah, sorry I didn't specify lol. Akame's transformation was badass. That line though... It sounded so stupid when I read that. I guess I could pass it off as symbolism, but I can't tell for sure. Oh well, only so much White Fox can do. There's a reason White Fox does adaptions only.

Oh right, I should post some of my own opinions. Leffen is a good man. Sm4sh's competitive community will die like Brawl's. Gurren Lagann is a bad anime. Angel Beats was not sad. Riku should've stayed on the dark side. I like how confusing Kingdom Hearts is.

Lol, you're not exactly alone here. Ufotable, who animated UBW, is known for their high quality animation and huge stacks of cash. Some communities refer to the anime as "Unlimited Budget Works." Same with Kill La Kill, SAO, and AoT. Kill la Kill is riddled with poor plot, poor character development, and poor animation. SAO had the first few episodes going for it, but then it spiraled into despair when it changed into Kirito's Harem Online. Asuna was poorly done as well, turning into a weak character who relies on Kirito, when before she was introduced as a badass. Attack on Titan was alright, but it didn't bring much new to the table, except for the animation. Mediocre is a good way of putting it.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm expecting they're releasing it in waves. Besides, since people had to apply to get it, they have an exact number on how many to make, with maybe some more added for cushioning in case something goes wrong. Don't lose hope in Nintendo yet.
