Sorry for taking so long. I could give you all my excuses, but no one wants to read those, so just know that school tried very hard to murder me.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)
Nora remained slightly tense as she watched the scene in the throne room play out. She didn't particularly dislike Irisveil, indeed her sentance was one of the only reasons the knight had ever considered breaking her vows and walking out on the royal family. From what she had seen (and it hadn't been much, as she was exiled only a few months after Nora had become a knight, so she didn't have much access to restricted information), the trial had been hasty and the sentence unjust. A thirteen year old girl does not deserve punishment for crimes committed by her allready dead family. That said, even if she wouldn't judge the exile on her family's actions, she would judge the girl by her own, and indirectly threatening royalty was not a nice way to get in Nora's good books. 'Ah well,' she sighed mentally, 'might as well get on with introductions.' After the person to whom Zelda had been alluding earlier came out and said her part, Nora stepped forward and bowed. "Nora Paulson, Knight of Hyrule, at your service, your highness.' She straightened up and stepped back again. Now that that was over with, maybe the Princess would tell them what she wanted them to do.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)
Hmm. So there was at least a degree of truth to the stories of people getting lost in the forest. It actually was due to magic, although maybe not the 'curse' that many thought it was. Nora turned to the side slightly so that she could see the person who spoke next. Naturally she would never admit later that her hand had twitched toward her sword slightly at the Kokiri's voice. She didn't like to have people behind her, just another little tick that had resulted from her experiences as a knight. 'Hmm,' she thought slightly sarcastically to herself as she listened to Kai, 'wonder what the race of this boy is. If the clothes weren't a dead giveaway and the fact that a person with the appearance of a Hylian child was summoned as a warrior didn't cut it...' "It is nice to meet you mister Kai, and mister Deku. My name is Nora Paulson, and I am a knight of Hyrule." She smiled and bowed slightly to show her intent. It was impolite to expect someone to know your language if you didn't understand theirs. Then Nora stepped back so that she could see all three of the people with whom she was speaking. "I hope that your stay here has been acceptable so far?" She did live here after all, it was expected that she try to represent her city well.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)
"The pleasure is all mine, Miss Rabiyu." A Ranger from the Lost Woods? How fascinating. Nora had never been there, but she had heard stories of it. None of those had mentioned Rangers, though... "I had the fortune of being only a few hours from the Castle when I received Princess Zelda's letter, so the trip was not so bad. I am curious, though," she added with a smile, "what are the Lost Woods like? I have never had the chance to visit."

Kingdom Hearts Re: Fade Into Light (RP Thread)
"All right!" Aello agreed cheerfully as the seeker pulled off her hood. She hadn't wanted to fight much anyway. "So if you aren't here to kill us or some other nefarious plot," she figured that much by the girls not-violent actions, "then why are you here?" Aello wasn't entirely sure what someone who they had been told was one of the 'bad guys' could do that wasn't bad. It was interesting.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)
Nora continued to observe as the other warriors arrived. A Deku, a Kokiri, a Hylian man with a number of weapons, and a bow carrying Hylian woman wearing a hood. The Princess said to get along, so she guessed she should learn more about them. The knight walked up to the hooded lady (Rabiyu). "Hello. My name is Nora Paulson. How do you do?" She detested small talk, really, but it was expected, and a good place as any to start.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Fade Into Light (RP Thread)
Aello looked around at Lisa's warning after Saki translated it, but she couldn't see anything amiss. Still... "Um, if we are going to start a fight we should probably warn Joel and Lucas so that they can get off that rickety old bridge first." With that in mind Aello bounced over to the bridge. "Hey Joel!" What to say... Obviously not 'we think there is a seeker of light following us.' Actually, her companions had already made it pretty obvious that they thought someone was following. Sure, why not. "You might want to get off the bridge! Lisa thinks someone's following us!" After all, the last place she would want to be in a conflict was an easily destroyed, questionably stable old rope bridge.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)
Nora was just leaving a small town East of the castle when the letter was blown into her path. She had come here because of rumors of monsters that she thought might be connected to the Dark Fairy. It had actually been a prank by some teenagers, but the villagers were happy that the potential threat was gone, and that was what mattered. Curiously, the knight picked the letter up, reading it quickly. Princess Zelda... Well, it was a good thing she hadn't gone too far from Hyrule Castle, then. If she hurried, the trip would only take a few hours. A while later she arrived at the gate, just in time to see a small Deku pull out a piece of paper and then pass through. He had received a letter as well, then? She nodded respectfully to the guards as she passed through the still open castle gates. They probably needed to work on their security... Show up in uniform and any sort of check becomes unnecessary? That was irrelevant at the moment, though. She was under orders from the Princess, and "come quickly" didn't mean "waste time lecturing guards." Nora waited quietly outside the throne room. The Princess would probably send for them when she had time. The knight could wait untill then.

Just double checking, Zelda is in the garden like in Ocarina of Time, not the throne room, right?

I edited Nora's bio a bit just for fun. I figured I would tell you, just to make sure it is still ok.

The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Sign Ups and Discussion)
Sorry it took so long, but after two hours of drawing and many more of being stuck babysitting before I could post, here it is. Name: Nora Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Hylian Appearance: Weapon (Optional): Sword Personality: Very perfectionist, serious, loyal to her country and cares deeply for the welfare of the people. Bio: Nora is a knight of Hyrule, who joined in order to protect her people. As a child she was enchanted by her grandfather and father's tales of chivalry and adventure. At the age of three she was waving around sticks and taking out imaginary enemies. As she grew she developed this strong sense of justice, as well as an even greater love for the people around her. At six her grandfather convinced her father to start teaching her, despite her parents initial doubts. They knew how dangerous the profession could get, but have you ever tried to argue against a stubborn, wise, old grandpa? It doesn't end well. When she was nine Nora started using real (although admittedly smaller) swords, and managed to progress even more than she had with the wooden ones. Nora joined the knights as soon as she was able, and has been striving towards her goals of protecting the kingdom and people ever since. She travels a lot, crossing the land to make sure that everyone is safe, but returned to the castle after receiving a letter from the Princess. Edit: put a bit more detail into the backstory. Edit 2: fixed the personality to fit my infrequent posts.

Fire Emblem: Return ( RP Sign Ups)
*sigh...*That moment when something is interpreted completely differently than how it was intended, but I have seen enough of the conversations on this thread to know that debating that point really won't make a difference.
