  1. Square Enix will release a calendar in April to commemorate the beginning of the Japanese school year. This calendar contains images of various Square Enix titles, including Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The images are supposedly separate to the calendar, hence you can choose which image you want to use. Square Enix members will be able to purchase the calendar for 400 points, up to two per person can be ordered from here. The images included in the calendar are from the following games: Credit to @aibo_ac7 for the tip! UPDATE: A photo was taken of the page of the school calendar that features Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. 3. The ATB system is amazing bruh. How it worked in 12 and 13 was so good. Better than button mashy KH combat.
  4. I agree with him, after KH2 this series just fell off for me. It doesn't feel the same as it did when I was a child. 0.2's gameplay was good though and I like Days' story, but everything else is just.........
  5. He is so right. KH gives me video game blue balls when I think about it, it could literally be SO SO SO perfect but Tetsuya Nomura over complicated almost everything. KH is an over hyped series that doesn't live up to it's own potential, how on earth can you mess up Disney and Final Fantasy? This series should be selling like hotcakes and getting 10s across the board. Not to mention the story is basically trash now. Literal fan fiction .
  6. We all do . I really want the ATB system back but I don't think it will return now. I want FF16 to use the ATB system though.
  7. Well now they've got the materia menu actually in place, but in the OG game you don't get your first summon until after you leave Midgar, when you're the in the chocobo ranch and that it is only the chocobo summon... This game seems Midgar centric so I don't think summons will even show up . They'll also be too confined.
  8. the game ain't coming out until 2019 so that's gonna happen lol
  9. wow you've put more hours in than I have and I've had the game since day one. The combat just doesn't feel good, Noctis is sluggish and his combos don't feel continuous and flow when switching weapons. There is no strategy involved either, just spam potions if your low on health. Enemies hardly retaliate and combat is level based. A real level one run can never be done either, your attacks will never do enough damage. They took Final Fantasy's system of taking damage and dealing it and combined it with this sluggish combat. It's not right and this is why I feel FF should have never abandoned its roots.
  10. Want to buy I Am Setsuna on steam but it's a bit pricey
  11. For a game like this there is no point in being constructive. Tetsuya Nomura is not listening to him and saying 'yes I'll improve that'. Also, there is no way to criticise anything and not be 'negative'.
  12. What do you mean by as long as he has criticism? Even if he doesn't he can still say whatever he wants. Obviously the video is going to have a negative overtone since he is criticising the game.
  13. THE PRO PATCH COULDNT EVEN HIT 50FPS HAHAHAHAHAH. It's stuck at 45. RIP this mess of a game. Instead of releasing pointless patches for useless things, how about fixing the combat so it isn't so messy.

  16. You hate KH1? Boy this is as good as it gets. KH2 is pretty amazing but only if you play it on a certain difficulty level. Everything after KH2 is a big steaming pile of BLEH in terms of story and combat (358/2 days has a good story though). You haven't seen anything yet, play BBS, DDD and the Chi series. KH1 is as good as it gets, that's my favourite game of all time. The KH3 demo that came out last month aka 0.2 BBS is pretty good in terms of combat but it's still a 3 hour demo.
  17. why are people taking this seriously this is from 2.8
  18. 13 was more enjoyable than 15. Probably because I like ATB more than the horrid combat physics that 15 has.
  19. FF9 did best at that, you got to see almost everything that happened. You played as Steiner, Garnet, Vivi etc. Even FF7 let you control Cid and see the reactor incident through playable flashbacks. Be honest, even FF13 didn't offscreen anything really. FF13 split the party up and let you experience the game through more than 1 player's view.
  20. 1. No, every mainline FF is different from the last. The stories are not connected in anyway (besides a few random theories). 2. No, you can just play the numbered title and understand the story. However some of the sequels and prequels may fix things you didn't like in that mainline installment. 3. No, the KH story is a mess. FF8 and 13 are the only two games where you may have trouble. FF7 is confusing at first but if you pay attention you'll be fine. Otherwise most of the stories make good sense. 4. Final Fantasy's 1 through 3 use Turn Based combat where you wait your turn to attack, 4-9 use the ATB system (all in different ways), 10 goes back to turn based, 11 and 14 are MMOs, 12 and 13 use ATB and then 15 is an ARPG. The only FF game that is close to KH's combat is FF15 and possibly FF13-3 (Lightning Returns). Everything else uses an ATB or turn based battle system. 5. FF5-FF13 should take 30-50 hours to beat. That varies depending on your play style and how much you do. FF15 takes like 20-30 hours story only. The ones worth playing? 5-13 with the exception of 11. Final Fantasy's 1 through 3 have no real story, and 12 and 14 are MMOS however I've heard some great things.
