Most likely not. Since KH3 will be the end of the Xehanort saga the next one will introduce the new saga, so we probably won’t get several handheld titles like we did the past years and SE can fully focus on KH4.

Back in 2002 BBS didn't exist. But Sora, Riku and Kairi already knew about other worlds. Meaning the producers, game developers, must have had a logical reason in mind, that had nothing to do with Aqua and Terra. Of course you can say now they just added that as reason, but it wasn't the original one. That was my point.

Well Zootopia got released in March 2016. So technically it’d be possible that, when SE got early access to its script, they decided on adding it before August 2015. Another thing, they only said “most recent” world. Not “final” world. They could have picked more after that date, no? I don’t think Zootopia will make it, for different reasons, but I think theoretically it’s possible.

Yeah, exactly. Also we can't tell when they stopped picking new worlds for KH3, I don't think they ever actually said that. So we can't fully determine what movies are possible and what are not.

It was confirmed in an interview tho that SE gets early access to the Disney movies. Meaning it's hypothetically possible for them to include Zootopia.

About the More Original Characters point: I agree to some extent. I also would love to have more original characters... that aren't Sora or Xehanort I think the plain number of OCs is fine, but way too many are just incarnations of Sora and Xehanort. It's even worse when they share the same design, that's just lazy and lame in my opinion. I seriously hope for example the True Organization won't just be a bunch of old reused characters and Xehanort incarnations, would be awesome to have some new and unique ones.

From an interview: I assume Mickey didn’t really know where and who Sora actually was, but that he somehow could feel he’s chosen by the Keybalde and hence he reached out to him in order to guide him. The reason why Sora, Riku and Kairi knew about other worlds is Kairi. She was from another world, and apparently that was a known fact to the people on Destiny Island. So that’s that. Has nothing to do with Xehanort. That they used a raft to get to other worlds is due to them being still kids They probably hoped it would work, having no idea how to get to a new world.
