you'll have to leave your current party before you i can send you an invite! lmao tbh i picked it because imo unicorns were the coolest out of all the animals offered. but there are perks and drawbacks - unicornis has basically come in first by a landslide in every week's lux rankings (and month's, when those were still around). vulpeus was kind of close this past week but it was still a difference of like...2 billion lux between the two. this happens in chi too, from what i heard, so i wouldn't be very surprised if it continues in the international release. the benefit to this is that the union in first gets the widest tiers when it comes to weekly prizes - so more people get better ones - but the drawback is that because there are so many people it can be harder to tier. i don't mind the stiffer competition - i don't go hard enough to make the higher tiers anyway - and i really enjoy playing with everyone here so i wouldn't ever switch, but if you plan to play solo you might find it easier in a weaker union!

you might be able to find them in rare chests in lower levelled quests or as prizes from other raid bosses - i can't remember off the top of my head which ones, though sorry! and yes, that's the only way to get them. it's more efficient if you run quest 57 twice and then the event quest once; it'll still trigger the raid boss but for about half the AP. (or you could wait for a raid boss campaign time period and guaranteed appearance rates.)

if you tap the jewel count on the screen it'll pull up a menu where you can choose what package you want. id recommend purchasing the 1400¥ one just after 0.00 JST Monday - it'll unlock all weekly dailies and a couple premium quests for the week, plus right now you'll get a bonus 1600 jewels. i'm not familiar enough with android to know how payment works, but looking at what people who play JP love live say you should be able to pay with your non-JP source of payment.

hmm okay i'm not 100% sure how working with different currencies works in the play store. from what little research I've done it seems like you won't need a JP method of payment like you do on iOS. actually wait - are you asking on how to actually buy jewels? i'm sorry, i should've asked that first.

oh! no no i'm sorry i totally misunderstood!! i'm not 100% sure but i think the same thing happens when I activate mine - I have no clue if this is a bug or whatever, though.

ahhHHH i meant quest 300!! i should have specified that, sorry!! but yeah quest 57 has 27-28ish enemies (depending on if the pretender and/or the egg are present); i think the trigger number is either 72 or 76 but i can't remember off the top of my head. and i did and it worked! i've heard from other sources that you can activate it with a broom mickey medal as well. i'm writing something up for it now, but long story short - so what happens is when you activate it, a little roulette will play and you'll get a guilt % at random. there are three tiers of %s which are dictated by how 'hard' the medal is to obtain (i say 'hard' in quotes bc the 2.8 medals are tier 1 despite the fact that grinding 2.8 riku was a nightmare lmao...i'm just pressed tbh). these are indicated by the shape of the guilt bonus: basically, the more complicated the shape, the higher the tier. you can potentially increase your guilt bonus (the same roulette thing plays, but if it spits out a lower number it won't decrease your existing bonus) by adding additional 6* medals, but you won't be able to increase it past the upper range of that medal's tier.

I've found that up until 300 or so, the boss type depends on the target enemy's element - I've noticed that the boss triggered from a quest will be the same element as the target enemy's weakness. I haven't noticed anything similar with the new whale and spider bosses, but I also haven't triggered them enough to notice a pattern maybe.

In practical use I mostly switch between the three elemental ones (Lady Luck, Treasure Trove and Three Wishes). Lady Luck's my fav though, I've always been a sucker for Alice in Wonderland-themed stuff and the +17 form is so pretty ;___;

ah, that's strange - this made it seem like hitting 6th stage would be enough. did you max the FFVII medal by going 3 + 1 or 4 + 0? (if that makes sense)

you won't need to use a broom on the christmas medals - just filling all the dots will be enough to activate gilt. it's only for those (rare) medals you have that have already been maxed that you'd need them, i think!

hmm, that's strange - flame rave does damage over 6 hits and when i just activated mine i noted 6 hits and 6 damage scores. might be a bug?

yeah, i think that's the case... i have an inactivated maxed 2.8 riku, but i have a spare so I'll see if using that works.

i can't directly confirm this, but it looks like to activate a medal's gilt bonus you need to synth it with a medal of the same type and rarity. i'm not sure if it'll activate before you hit max - this source is activating a stitch by filling in the last dot and this source is activating an already maxed yuna by synthing it with another 6 star yuna. i'm guessing using a broom mickey will also count, but i haven't seen anything from jp yet indicating one way or another. i'm mildly ticked off because i didn't rush to max the 2.8 medals during the event just for this to happen lmao but i guess that's hopefully where the broom mickey medals come in.........
