  1. On the 13th December a brief summary of the D23 Expo Japan 2015 event, was televised in Japan. The majority included sections from the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater event, which included a small sneak peek of brand new gameplay footage from Kingdom Hearts III. The design of the attraction flow ride The gameplay begins with the newly revealed attraction flow, shooting ride, (based on Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster) being displayed in real time. Let's take a quick look at the design of the ride. The front has been replaced with the Kingdom Hearts symbolic gold crown, instead of the traditional star-command logo. In addition the attraction flow rides' color scheme differs from the original Disneyland ride from green to a dark blue, possibly to better suite the games overall design. Furthermore the design from the original has also changed. The ride looks sleeker and more compact to give greater maneuverability for Sora to attack. The attraction flow attack The attraction flow ride appears out of an invisible golden door at a fast pace. Sora smoothly black-flips on to the shooting ride to begin the attractions' attack. Donald and goofy then quickly drop behind their shooting pistols in support. The camera then transitions into a first-person shooter mode from Sora's perspective, displayed by him placing protective glasses over his face. From this it's also revealed The Mysterious Tower is officially confirmed to return as a world in Kingdom Hearts III. We can also see what appears to be, Pink Concerta heartless from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Also the Yellow Opera heartless, which are now confirmed to return. Sora begins to attack with a red projectile, Goofy green and Donald blue respectively. Mini-game Each time Sora hits a solider heartless he receives 10 points displayed in the upper-left hand corner. When he juggles them continuously in the air the points increase from 10, 20, 30, to 60, as the word 'CHANCE' is displayed above the enemies' head. This is the first time a mini-game point system will be introduced inside a time-based attack. Assuming Kingdom Hearts III will have trophy support, is it possible to unlock a trophy based on a high-score? This is supported with 'HI SCORE' and '1000' being displayed under the current points earned. Notable aspects Whilst using the attraction flow ride there is also a full green bar that's divided into sections on the left-hand side. It's possible that this will decrease over time to show the duration of the attack. What are your thoughts on the new Kingdom Hearts III gameplay footage? Have you noticed anything we may have missed? Please leave your response in the comments section below!
  2. Square Enix's Third Business Division are continuing to hire employees to help complete Kingdom Hearts III. Square Enix were looking for suitable candidates at the beginning of January and are needing further assistance yet again as we head into the new year. Business Division 3 includes a team that is responsible for the majority of the Kingdom Hearts titles, including Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX, and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III, while other teams within the division have worked on other projects. The eleven occupations listed below are the majority of the same jobs Square Enix advertised in January and have been open to apply for all year. The addition to this list is a 'scenario planner' role that is currently being advertised. 4. A new Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ commercial has released today in Japan that shows a girl wielding the Starlight keyblade as she appears to be travelling through the 2D version of the Disney worlds, Wonderland, Agrabah and Dwarf Woodlands, as seen in the game. We then see some in game footage that showcases Unchained χ style of gameplay and the commercial ends with the player enjoying the app. You can check out the commercial below: Have you played Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ yet? 5. The teacups will be based on Tim Burton's underland; the pirate ship will be treasure planet and the Magic Mountain train may be the default one you start with?
  6. I agree with you when the Olympus keyblade transforms into the Pegasus chariot and we're riding about on it, with lightning shooting down, crashing into heartless! It's going to be so flashy and we'll be constantly hyped whilst playing it. Can you imagine the Ultima Weapon it would just obliterate everything in the field! I think with the attraction flow rides they'll all be based on the worlds we visit since the shooting ride is based on Toy Story. So I'm guessing...
  7. I will do! I'm interested to get people's opinions on this, what are you most looking forward to in KH3/2.8? The keyblade transformations or attraction flow rides?
  8. Thank you for accepting me Felix! I know it sounds a bit cheesy but Kingdom Hearts has given us such a magical adventure and brought so many fans together
  9. Just reading the forums and there is some very interesting and excellent theories towards Chi and Unchained x

  13. A new mysterious item known as a ‘strength bundle’ can be obtained at the beginning of December in Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ which allows players access to brand new six-star strength medals to be used in combat. The medals' abilities will be increased dramatically and will unlock the sixth level of the medals' true power. You will be able to equip a full deck of six star medals to the Keyblade from the 19th November 20:00 (JST) and Square Enix will also begin to add villain and darkness ‘reverse’ medals, which include the Wicked Witch disguise medal. These medals can be used alongside the more powerful silver and gold ‘upright medals’. In preparation for the new ‘strength bundle’ the deck cost for the Keyblades increased dramatically, with the addition of a special avatar board. The bonuses on the board can be obtained through collecting jewels in daily challenges and as a usual login bonus. In addition, Cid medals will be given out more frequently with campaigns and events. There is a chance to obtain more synthesis medals, sold medals and progression medals. These can be obtained through purchasing the 3000 jewel prize draw and the 1400 jewel draw available once per week. (Players who bought these will already have these medals unlocked.) These can be also be gained through the ‘All Daily Quests Open Until Sunday’ bonus and brand new quests that allow you to obtain a Cid medal everyday. It appears we are going to receive the most exciting story update yet! In this monthly update, Unchained χ will tell Olympus Coliseum's final chapter by introducing familiar Disney characters and the Underworld to the story. The story will also begin to introduce the mysterious character Ephemera from Japan’s web based counterpart [Chi]. 15. Thank you KH13 team, I have just recently joined and the site is very user friendly to find information and it's a great way to bring the KH community together with the best fans!
  16. Hi Everyone! My name is Lewis from England and I've just recently joined KH13 a few days ago. I would like to make myself known to the community and make some new friends who love Kingdom Hearts like myself! I have my own keyblade with KH2 Sora outfit and I've been playing all the games since KH1 released when I was nine. I CAN'T WAIT for KH3 (the E3 trailer looks amazing) and I hope we can all have fun, relax and discuss the future of the series together. So, if we do go to Kingdom Hearts in KH3 what do you think will be there? Stay awesome! x
  17. I feel very dissapointed and I mirror what you guys say, Nomura was talking about surprises and new announcements making the event sound really big but we hardly got anything. I know it's difficult but we have to try and remember and appreciate all the information we've been given this year. I'm mainly dissapointed because both KH3 and 2.8 trailers still say 'now in development' when Nomura heavily hinted the possibility of giving a release date at the event. Hopefully the new trailer coming out soon will cheer us all up!
