In 2013, Utada Hikaru's father and manager, Utada Teruzane, stated on Twitter that Utada Hikaru's involvement with Kingdom Hearts III was undecided at the time. On December 22, 2016, a curious fan followed up on this message, receiving a reply from Teruzane that they'll do the opening song for Kingdom Hearts III and that they've already started. Later, Teruzane retracted that statement, correcting himself by saying that they're eager to do the opening song for Kingdom Hearts III, but their decision is not yet official. Now, on December 6, 2017, Teruzane was asked once more on Twitter if Hikaru would do Kingdom Hearts III's opening song, and he replied saying that he can't say anything yet, but to be positive and that they won't break your heart. It has been revealed on Utada Hikaru's official website today that she will create a new album and that it's planned to release in 2018. It will be her 7th album and her first album since joining Sony Music Entertainment. Also, in 2018, she will also be doing a live tour across Japan for the first time since Utada United 2006. It was revealed as well that from December 8, 2017, all of Hikaru's songs from "Automatic" to her most recent album that was released in 2016, "Fantôme," will be releasing on various major music subscription service platforms, which includes Apple Music. They will also be available on Spotify starting from January 8, 2017. A heart does need to be in the equation for a Pureblood Heartless to exist. Pureblood Heartless are literally corrupted hearts. When someone succumbs to the darkness/loses their heart, the darkness within their heart comes out and devours it. That's what a Pureblood Heartless is. It's unknown why there are tons of Pureblood Heartless in the Realm of Darkness, but I'd say it's most likely simply because they are attracted to darkness. They are born in the Realm of Light when someone loses their heart and then probably use Corridors of Darkness to teleport to the Realm of Darkness. I have provided sources and proof for all of my claims in a comment I made above.

Pureblood Heartless are not created from masses of darkness. They're created when someone succumbs to the darkness or loses their heart or when another Pureblood Heartless devours someone else's heart. They do release hearts, just not visibly. The only major difference between a Pureblood and and Emblem Heartless is the way they're created. Pureblood Heartless are created when someone naturally succumbs to the darkness or loses their heart, and Emblem Heartless are created when a machine created by Apprentice Xehanort artificially causes a heart to succumb to the darkness. Emblem Heartless devouring someone else's heart creates another Emblem Heartless. But, it's never been confirmed that it will turn into the same Emblem Heartless as the one that devoured it.

A Kingdom Hearts II Roxas figure in Bandai's S.H.Figuarts line was revealed and shown off for the first time at Tamashii Nation 2017. This S.H.Figuarts figure features Roxas in his Organization XIII black coat, along with the Kingdom Key Keyblade. It was shown off alongside the Sora S.H.Figuarts figure, which is currently out and available for purchase. Tamashii Nation 2017 is the final stop of the Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour. The Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour began in December 2016 in São Paulo, Brazil. The next stop was Hong Kong in February 2017, then New York City in April. It continued in Japan, Mexico, Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, and United States leading up to October. And now, we're at the final event, Tamashii Nation 2017, which is being held in November in Tokyo. The first Kingdom Hearts S.H.Figuarts figure to be revealed was the Kingdom Hearts II Sora figure. It was shown off for the Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour in Osaka, Japan. Then, the Kingdom Hearts II Donald, Goofy, and Organization XIII Mickey S.H.Figuarts figures were later displayed for the first time at Tokyo Toy Show 2017. Back in May 2017, a prop replica of the iconic Kingdom Key Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts was revealed as a part of the PROPLICA adult-oriented model series line by Bandai at Tokyo Toy Show 2017. On November 22, 2017, it was confirmed that the Kingdom Key PROPLICA will be releasing in April 2018, and that it will be available for 19,980 yen (approximately $179.61 USD). It was also shown off that the Kingdom Key PROPLICA can project a Keyhole out onto a wall or a surface. Today, on November 27, 2017, Tamashii listed the Kingdom Key PROPLICA, reconfirming the release date and the price, and newly revealing that the PROPLICA makes built-in attack and magic trigger sounds. I don't really understand how the Foretellers' identities could be characters that don't act like them, don't have the same personalities as them, don't have the same voices as them, and don't have the same body shapes as them. If Ava was Kairi's Grandma, then Kairi's Grandma would be over 110 years old. And if she was brought to the time period of BBS using the same method as Ventus (and all the Foretellers assuming what you're saying is correct), then why would she be so much older than everyone else when everyone else wouldn't have aged? They obviously didn't all just wait and age for the time period of BBS. They got there using some fantastical means, such as the realm of sleep or time travel or body swapping or something. And Aeleus is way too calm and silent to be Aced. Aced is overly emotional and passionate and slightly dumb. The only similarities between Aced and Aeleus is that they're strong. Their chin shapes are also different. Aced's is more narrow. And all the other ones you mentioned just have complete different personalities, and like you said, are big stretches. If these were the same characters, then they would've been given the same voice actors/actresses and they would've been given the same personalities. I don't see why their personalities would have changed since. I think the Foretellers' faces are more likely to look like characters we know or something, rather than the Foretellers actually being characters we already know. I'm still even iffy about that though too. Either their faces are kept hidden because their identities are being kept hidden from the audience or their faces are kept hidden because their faces are irrelevant because since their voices, body language, and gestures tell all we need to know about their characters and that they'll be irrelevant in the future of the series since they all just end up dying in the Keyblade War. Who knows though. It's hard to tell which of those is the answer.
