Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Key Keyblade PROPLICA revealed at Tokyo Toy Show 2017; releasing April 2018
A PROPLICA of the iconic Kingdom Key Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts was revealed at the Tokyo Toy Show 2017. It is being released by Bandai, the same company that's releasing the Sora, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy SHFiguarts figures, which were shown off at the Tokyo Toy Show this year as well. There's currently no pricing info or release date for this PROPLICA Keyblade. We'll keep you updated. PROPLICA is a line of prop replicas of various different weapons and items from different series. Kingdom Hearts Collection Badges will be in stock for Sega Prize, starting from June 5, 2017
Kingdom Hearts Collection Badges are on their way to Sega Prize, starting from June 5, 2017. They'll be available at several Sega stores beginning on Monday (June 5, 2017), while they'll begin being available at other stores on Thursday (June 8, 2017). There's 30 applicable stores in total. Sega Prize is a special division of Sega, which focus specifically on prizes available from their Sega UFO Catcher machines. These machines are set up at various stores in Japan, and are essentially a type of crane game that allow you to win prizes. Thanks to @aibo_ac7 on Twitter for the tip! UPDATE 1: Shinjuku Sportsland, a well-known arcade at Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan, will have these Kingdom Hearts Collection Badges in-stock, starting from Saturday (June 3, 2017). During the Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour, various new S.H.Figuarts figures were revealed for the first time. Among these new figures, a Sora (Kingdom Hearts II ver.) figure was shown off. This Kingdom Hearts II Sora figure comes with a stand, and does indeed have articulation. Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour is an event to celebrate the anniversary of Bandai's Tamashii Nations line of figures and memorabilia. It's being held from December 2016 to November 2017. It's coming to Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and United States. During its time at Osaka, Japan, from May 27, 2017 to May 28, 2017, the Sora figure, along with the other figures mentioned, were revealed. Square Enix have announced that the Kingdom Hearts Concert - First Breath - album is now available for pre-order on the Square Enix Japan E-Store for 3,564 yen ($31.97 USD). It will be available on the E-Store for a limited time only. The album will release on July 26, 2017. The Kingdom Hearts Concert - First Breath - officially began on August 11, 2016 and had a showing in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. After, on March 10, 2017, the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - officially began, and it will have sixteen showings in total. Check out the upcoming show dates and locations here! The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - also has an album that's available. Check it out/order it on the Square Enix Japan E-Store or the Square Enix NA E-Store! Kingdom Hearts shirts and acrylic key rings coming to Japanese clothing store PONEYCOMB for the Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary
To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Kingdom Hearts, shirts and acrylic key rings are coming to the Japanese clothing store, PONEYCOMB, located in the shopping mall "109" in Shibuya. The shirt features Mickey Mouse on the front in his black coat disguise with the word "KING" above him. This shirt comes in a style for women and a style for men. View the shirts below: There are five different acrylic key rings, each featuring a different character from the series. The characters are Final Form Sora, Roxas in his black coat, Mickey Mouse in his Kingdom Hearts II outfit, Donald Duck, and Goofy. These products will be available from PONEYCOMB on April 29, 2017, and the shirts will be available for 3,500 yen ($31.46 USD), while the key rings will be available for 1,500 yen ($13.48 USD). Series 1 of Diamond Select Toys' Kingdom Hearts figures shown off at C2E2 2017; releasing November 2017, pre-orders now available
Earlier this year, Diamond Select Toys revealed prototypes of their Kingdom Hearts figures at New York Toy Fair 2017. Now, Diamond Select Toys have shown off improved versions of these figures at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) 2017. Last time they were shown, figures of Sora, Roxas, Axel, Mickey Mouse, Maleficent, Jafar, Iago, Abu, a Dusk Nobody, a Shadow Heartless, and a Creeper Plant Heartless were shown. This time, figures of Sora, Axel, Mickey Mouse, a Dusk Nobody, a Shadow Heartless, and a Soldier Heartless were shown. A Vinimate Sora can be seen in the back as well. In the image, you can see some of the articulation of the figures. Not all of the figures will have the same amount of articulation, due to the size of the figures and due to how easy it is to hide the articulation in the sculpt. Expect to see 8 - 12 in the character figures, and little or none in the Heartless figures. UPDATE 1: More detailed photos have been added of the Sora, Axel, Mickey Mouse, and the Soldier Heartless figures by Diamond Select Toys, which were featured about booth #817 at C2E2. You can view these images above. UPDATE 2: The official Diamond Select Toys Twitter account has released an image of their Vinimates display at C2E2 2017 at their booth #817. In this display, you can see the Sora Vinimate and get a better look at him than in the previous photo. Sora can be seen on the third shelf down and to the right. The figures are between four and seven inches tall. They will be released Fall 2017, and both packs will be $25.00 USD. The figures are sculpted by Oluf Hartvigson, who's also done some work for one of the Star Wars lines at Sideshow Collectibles. Last year, Yen Press announced that they will be releasing the final volume to the English Kingdom Hearts II manga series by Shiro Amano, Kingdom Hearts II Volume 4 on May 23, 2017. Thanks to Yen Press again, we now have a look at the front cover for this final volume. View the cover below: The Kingdom Hearts II manga series finished in Japan in 2015, and now it is finally being finished in English as well. The Japanese Kingdom Hearts II manga series had ten volumes, but for the English series, they've decided to combine them all together to create four large volumes. Kingdom Hearts II Volume 4 contains volumes 8 - 10 of the original Japanese series. You can pre-order Kingdom Hearts II Volume 4 from Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and RightStuf. The Xemnas crash with Limit Form in the English version of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX has been fixed
In the English version of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for the PS3, there was a bug that would cause the game to crash when you went into Limit Form during the first Xemnas fight and activated the first Reaction Command. View footage of this old glitch below: Thanks to on YouTube, who got the game early, we now know that this has been fixed for the English version of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX for the PS4. Also, if you didn't catch it, Square Enix has announced that they will be offering a Day One patch for North American and European players for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX.
