  1. Square Enix has confirmed that certain users did not receive their login bonuses on October 1st. This issue affected daily login jewels, total login jewels, and total login titles. The issue has been corrected and any affected players will be issued replacements and compensation on October 17th. You can view screenshots of the notice below: Regarding the second screenshot of the notice, Square Enix seems to have made a small error and written October 17th of next year. Rest assured, though, that the issue at hand will be fixed this coming Monday.

    YEEEEEES!
  3. I've only played the first reboot trilogy (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld), and of the three, I'd have to say that Underworld is my favorite. Its level design just hits all the right beats for me.
  4. That image of Riku in the scan sums my feelings up perfectly. Y u do dis?
  5. 300 jewels are available in your present box to make up for an error with the Hocus Pocus Raid Campaign. Be sure to collect them!
  6. I'm certainly not going to. This absolutely screams of another 2.5 situation, at least to me. I bet in a month or two, we'll be getting news of a 2.5 CE. Given how much emphasis they've placed on the plush toys in the past, I have a feeling they'll include a Chirithy or a Meow Wow in a potential CE, which alone would make people flock to it. Including an artbook is standard for all of these, so let's look at their track record. The 1.5 limited edition did that, whereas it was only available for the 2.5 collector's edition, not the limited. If 2.8 follows the same trend, we'll be getting an artbook in a more expensive collection. I can guarantee that if they do produce a CE, it'll have one of the two aforementioned plushies and an artbook, as well as the pin. That's what we got for 2.5, so that's the most likely outcome. They might add the keychain of Lea's Keyblade as well, but that would most likely being a Japan-exclusive item, given the current pre-order situation. Whether or not they include the 1.5 and 2.5 discs is up for debate, and I'd personally think that wouldn't happen, considering that those games are on a different system entirely (unless they suddenly came out with PS4 ports they've magically kept hidden from us until just a month or two before release). Soundtrack? Okay, I could see it, considering Japan's 1.5 + 2.5 collection got a promo OST. But unless DDD's soundtrack got remastered (something I highly doubt, since the majority of BBS' music didn't need it), that leaves only Back Cover and 0.2 BBS. The demo of 0.2 BBS points to the possibility of it not having much in the way of new tracks, and Back Cover's...well, only an hour long. I'm not holding my breath, but it could be a possibility under certain conditions. Anyway, I can see the OST and maybe the 1.5 + 2.5 being a thing in Japan (#SquareBeFair), but even that's slim given the circumstances I outlined above. As far as the timeframe we'll have to wait in order to possibly get a CE announcement, we're potentially looking at about a month before release, since that's approximately when 2.5 got its announcement. So hey, look for something around Christmas, I guess. So yeah, I'm hopeful. Personally, I'll be pre-ordering this just to secure it, but if something happens to come up, I'm immediately going to replace that order with whatever they announce. If we don't get plenty of stuff along with it, then that's life, and I'm not gonna cry about it. I advise everyone else to have similar optimism until a few weeks before release.
  7. I mean honestly, this game is horrible. Please don't kill me, it's just a joke.
  8. Mine got 94>94>94. Great luck and bad luck at the same time, I suppose. At least I didn't have to dump tons of mirrors to max him out. Sadly, it seems we only have 9 of them. If you don't get good guilt in three tries, you better hope you're swimming in mirrors. Sorry! T_T
  9. I hadn't followed much of the JPUX licensing issue with Jack, personally, but I wouldn't think Square would completely give up those rights. They could have negotiated a deal, due to how popular the character has been within the series as a whole. Regardless, it makes sense that SENA would try to get the rights to him in time for Halloween. Also, I've got good news for you! The medal isn't nerfed whatsoever, and there are plenty of copies in order for us to guilt it AND re-roll a few times! As someone who doesn't have a guilted BC Mickey yet, I'm jumping on this event ASAP.
  10. Beginning at 12 AM (PT) on October 1st, players will have the opportunity to defeat numerous Heartless across four quests, in order to earn the powerful Jack Skellington medal! This event will last until October 16th at 11:59 PM (PT), so you will have plenty of time to obtain the eight included 5-star medal copies! In addition, players who log in before October 10th will receive a free 5-star Jack Skellington medal as a login bonus! The Jack Skellington medal has an area-of-effect special attack which costs three gauges. This attack deals damage which bypasses an enemy's attribute-based defenses. This particular medal is the magic counterpart to the powerful Black Coat King Mickey and Xigbar medals, so don't miss your chance to obtain it! For the entire month of October, the Coliseum features some spooky Vampire Avatar parts as ranking rewards! The Vampire: Wings for both the male and female sets have a Rare Enemy Perk by +4 which can be obtained by ranking in the top 10,000, and there's also a chance for the all new skill Attack Prize + Attack Boost II by ranking in the top 2,500! View the gallery below for a full list of ranking rewards in the Coliseum. Last but not least we've got a special Halloween-themed Weekend-only Raid Event going on for the entire month of October as well, with the name of the raid being Hocus Pocus. The raid board has been updated with new rewards, like a 6★ Magic Mirror medal! Players can also earn extra medals by defeating a level 10 raid boss, including 6★ Chip, Dale, and Moogle medals! Don't forget that raid boss spawn rates and Lux received from raid bosses double during bonus times! The bonus times for this are event are listed below,& all times listed in PT: 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM What's your favorite event or feature for this month? Let us know in the comments!
  11. New Halloween Goofy Avatar Boards are now available! Both of these boards include four 5-star Halloween Goofy medals, as well as one new No Cost skill medal, which has the chance of triggering a medal's Special Attack for free! Finally, each board also includes an Attack Boost II skill medal, two 6-star Chip medals, two 6-star Dale medals, a Cid 5 medal, a single Cid medal, a Magic Mirror medal, and three Huey & Dewey & Louie medals! Each board will cost 3,000 jewels and will be available until October 10th at 11:59 PM (PT)! Additionally, from September 29th until October 2nd at 11:59 PM (PT), all quests will cost zero AP! If you can, combine this with the expensive VIP special quests to earn many more evolve, EXP, and munny medals! Will you be purchasing these new avatar boards? And as for the zero AP campaign, are you going to be using this time to the fullest? Let us know in the comments!
  12. I know the KH community gets a lot of crap for being impatient, but speaking personally, I've waited long enough for every game, for the Final Mixes, for KHUX's NA release, and so on...that I'm dulled to the experience, and KH3 is no exception. I'd like to think I've got a level head on my shoulders, at that. I know you two weren't speaking specifically of me, but I just wanted to get that out there. #NotAllFans, I suppose I could say. If a trailer or some news comes, it comes. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Simple as that. In the meantime, I'm -hopeful-, yes, but certainly not going to act entitled to it. Like I said in prior comments, we could very well be getting something around 2.8's release or Jump Festa, and that'd be fine by me. In the meantime, we've got FFXV, 2.8, plenty of other games, and one final 2.8 trailer. That's -just- from Square, and -just- this holiday season (2.8's in January, but you get my point). That's not even counting the plethora of games from other studios that we'll all be playing. And you know what? That's awesome. I can't imagine that Square wouldn't bring 2.8 to PSX, honestly. Given the details of the event, it'd be the perfect time to really highlight any improvements or changes that have been made to 2.8 since the E3 and TGS builds (if those two even happen to be different, at that).
  13. This is all true, yes, but KH3 is one of Square's highest-profile games in years, next to FFXV and VII Remake. It makes a lot of sense (at least to me) to show it off at a big event. Not to mention they've done exactly that in the past (E3 2013, D23 Japan, E3 2015, etc). I could be wrong about this, but as far as gaming events in winter go, PSX and Jump Festa are the only two that Square would have much of a chance of revealing news or trailers at, and neither of those extend into next year. That's not to say it can't happen, it's just unlikely because of how press conferences and the like are structured when it comes to this time of year. Regarding announcements close to 2.8's release date, as both a fan and someone who's studied business trends regarding creative works, I think drumming up attention to the KH series close to 2.8's release date is a good move, because it gets people noticing KH again if they weren't already very invested. This then leads to a potential increase in sales for 2.8. Now again, that's not to say that KH3 can't appear at the end of January. In fact, given 2.8's original release window, I'd personally pinned a KH3 announcement in mid-December to be about an 80 percent chance. So hey, maybe the week of 2.8's release, we'll get something! It'd certainly be nice!
  14. Represent! DB Xenoverse 2 looks like it's gonna be awesome! Of course, a little closer to the holidays, I'm looking forward to finally getting my hands on FFXV. I'll probably be playing it up until the release of KH 2.8. No other holiday releases for me!
  15. Yeah, considering Square's habit of showing up for Sony-related events, and the announcement in the E3 trailer for 2.8, I'd personally say this is almost a guarantee! Of course, being a big FF fan, I'm also hoping we get more news about FFVIIR sometime soon. It's been almost a year, Square, come on! As far as Jump Festa goes, I think that's where we'll see the last 2.8 trailer (because Nomura did say that the TGS one wasn't the last, IIRC), as well as maybe more KH3 news. They've got to pace this stuff out, after all, and "this winter" could point to any time between December and March, so I think these two events are the most likely candidates for that.
  16. PlayStation Experience, Sony's annual PlayStation-oriented event, has been given a date and a venue. Occurring on December 3rd and 4th, PlayStation Experience 2016 will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Attendees of this event will have the chance to get hands-on experience with the PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation VR, and much more. At PSX 2015, Square Enix made a surprise appearance with . Earlier this year, it was revealed that fans will be receiving announcements regarding Kingdom Hearts III "this winter", so it is likely that Square Enix will return for this year's PSX, along with plenty of Kingdom Hearts III news. Will you be attending PlayStation Experience 2016? What do you think Square Enix might have in store? Let us know in the comments! Click here to view the article

  18. Unfortunately, I'm just sitting here waiting for Doctor Who to start back up...in April. At least we'll get a Christmas special in the meantime...after a whole year of nothing. Why do I keep putting up with such long waits for things? Between Doctor Who, Steven Universe, and each new KH game, it's a miracle that I don't go insane.
  19. It could very well be the exact same one! I mean, the only other time we've seen one of those being created was by Xehanort, and he was just stupidly powerful in the first place. Thanks for the second opinion. I've edited that part to be ambiguous. To be honest, it's hard to tell based on a single shot of the area, and I was definitely reaching when looking at that scene. However, in the shot with all the Darksides, you can clearly see Maleficent's castle on the left. Combined with the thorns, I think it's safe to say that Enchanted Dominion is at least making an appearance in one form or another. And as you said, there's the whole "first few worlds of BBS" thing tying it all together. It's quite hard to tell, but yeah, the MoM is the guy with the deeper voice, the one we heard in the E3 Back Cover trailer (and likely the person saying "trust no one but yourself" as well). As for the square/heart zipper thing, I can only assume that the design for the ancient version of the black coat wasn't even a thing at the time of that older KHχ update, but now that it is, both the MoM and Luxu are using it. A bit of an out-of-universe explanation, but it's not like KH is a stranger to that sort of thing, regardless of how well-planned the series is as a whole. What really makes me scratch my head is that, to me, Luxu seems rather reluctant to take part in whatever the MoM is planning, at least with regards to leaving his comrades behind. Yet in KHχ, Luxu has absolutely no issue with drawing his Keyblade and fighting Ava. I'm wondering if there's a bit of Xehanort-ish possession going on, here. It'd make sense for the MoM to have that ability, considering a lot of the stuff we've seen connects back to Xehanort. I agree. Were I in charge of remastering the game, I'd simply lengthen the timer by a small amount, and disable dropping within boss fights, so as to prevent the thing most players had problems with. Outright getting rid of it isn't exactly the best solution, since, as you said, the "Drop" aspect of the game is even part of the title.
