Hi Everybody!
Haha, no I don't think I am! What can I say? I am a linguist. XD Thank you for the welcome. Ah, you're not too far from me though. I'm from the home counties as I live in Hampshire. I'm from the home counties. Hampshire, to be precise. You may be closer to London but my town is only about an hour or so by car from the capital so I'm not that far away.
- (Read OP) Let's try to name as many KH characters as we can!

What are your gaming plans leading up to KH3?
I will be trying to get through the backlog of games I have on the 3DS and Playstation, mainly Pokemon and Tales games. As there is a release I am looking forward to which will occur before KH3, I will be playing that game once it comes out as well. That game is Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition. I completed the Xbox 360 version of Vesperia last week and am excited to be playing what will essentially be a director's cut on the PS4 in early January next year. The Tales Series is what got me into JRPGs proper and because the battle system is real time like Kingdom Hearts, it will help keep my skills honed and my reflexes sharp for when KH3 comes around. I prefer Tales' battle system to KH anyway because I'm more used to it and find it to be a lot deeper, plus I have been a Tales fan since I was a child. If you like real time combat, a fun and engaging cast of characters, deep lore and worldbuilding, Tales Of may be just for you. These are all self-contained stories except for the Xillia games, Symphonia (prequel)/Dawn of the New World (direct sequel)/Phantasia (distant sequel), Berseria (distant prequel)/Zestiria and a few others but these were never released in my country so I cannot comment on those. Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia are generally considered to have the best stories. If you like a deep and challenging battle system, go for Tales of Graces F, Tales of Zestiria or Tales of Berseria. If you like 2D or pixel graphics, Tales of Eternia and Tales of Phantasia are recommended. If you prefer cel shaded graphics, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia are great for that. If you like 3D graphics which are non-cel shaded and not the current engine, Tales of the Abyss is a good one. If you want to play with the latest graphics for the series and on the current engine, Tales of Xillia, Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria would be where you would go.

Hi Everybody!
Hello to you too, fellow Brit. Thank you for the welcome! It's good to meet another British fan here and that I won't be the only one. Where in Britain are you from? What part of the UK are you from? I am from the south east. I still live there today.

Hi Everybody!
It's nice to know there are other people from the UK here. I hope there really are loads of us on the forum. We can be a minority, I know. XD I'm glad there are some fellow British users around. Thanks for the welcome, 2 quid is good! I'm sure I'll enjoy my time in this small community.

KHIII English Dub Voice Actors
I am hoping in the next month or two that we get more official confirmations of voice actors and their roles. Personally, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Hayden reprises her role as Kairi. I think that she should have a chance to return, especially seeing as the upcoming game is a numbered entry and Kairi is training to be a keyblade wielder. Alyson does an okay job with her voice but I prefer Hayden. As for other voice actors, I would like to hear Riku in an English trailer at some point because David Gallagher is without a doubt going to be voicing him.

For which console you're going to buy Kingdom Hearts III?
I will be getting the game for PS4. I bought a Playstation 4 a couple of years ago and most of the games I play have been on the Playstation anyway. I prefer having the majority of my games on one console.

Hi Everybody!
Hello, everyone! My name is phoenixmiko. I'm from the UK. I like anime and manga and enjoy learning about Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese, French and Spanish in addition to my mother tongue because I love languages. Horses are my favourite animal and I used to go riding regularly as a child and a teenager. It became too expensive so I sadly had to give it up. Other than reading fiction and horse books, my hobbies include creative writing (particularly fantasy stories), singing, drawing in manga style, watching anime, films, reading and the odd JRPG. I only very recently became a Kingdom Hearts fan. This is how it came about. I had heard of the series before getting into the games but did not know where to start and was daunted by the sheer number of entries. However, my college friends encouraged me to try the series nonetheless by playing a game I did have the console for so my late teens marked my first foray into the series via giving Days a go on the DS. My college friends said that Days could be a good place to start because the main character does not know much about what is going on at first either; Roxas turned out to be a good audience substitute for me. Unfortunately, I had to put the game down after racking up some hours because I found the pacing of the narrative to be glacial and the mission format grating. It was not until I received on the collections for PS3 two years ago that I attempted a second time to get into Kingdom Hearts. I tried the first game and got to Deep Jungle but was having difficulty with platforming and the battle system and had to stop there. Although I was used to real time battles thanks to being a Tales fan, I found the battle system in Kingdom Hearts 1 to be clunky and somewhat unwieldy at that time so I decided to try Birth By Sleep instead, having heard that it was a prequel and that the fighting in the series improved in later games. I chose Aqua first back then, not knowing the proper order in which to complete the characters' stories and discovered that despite finding the command format harder than KH1's battle system, fighting was a lot smoother and more enjoyable. I did not go further than the Castle of Dreams though because I was not sure whether the series truly was for me or not. The third time is the charm though. I know now that I did not try enough of either of those games to truly determine whether Kingdom Hearts was worth getting into. I was also not aware that all of the games were connected and part of the overall Dark Seeker saga. I remedied this by playing the 1.5+2.5 collection on PS4 after getting it for Christmas last year. I bought 2.8 for myself at the beginning of this year once I realised how much I was enjoying the games. I played on beginner mode for every entry as I saw myself as a complete newbie. It took me five months to completely catch up on the story in order to be ready for Kingdom Hearts 3. During that time, I watched KHX and Union X cutscenes and read wiki entries, interviews and some translations from the ultimanias just to be sure I covered everything story wise and had no lingering questions about the lore. I adore fantastical games and stories with deep lore and worldbuilding so it was fun to do. I am keeping up with plot updates for Union X which are relevant to KH3 via the Internet after hearing that the international version will be behind even after the third game releases while playing through the app at my own pace. I am loving the overall story so far and am hyped to see it all come together in KH3. As a new Kingdom Hearts fan, I look forward to chatting with other people here about the series!
