I agree that Bret was improved greatly. I'm ssure that side work as Mickey apart from Kingdom Hearts has probably helped this a lot. I don't know...he just sounds so stiff to me. It might also be the way that the dialogue is translated and the fact that consonant don't seem to exist to help make the flow of sentences feel smoother? It just sounds so blocky and rough. There's no complaint on his voice itself, it's just the line reading that's putting me off a bit.

Long time lurker here finally getting around to posting as well as a long time KH fan. I guess I'll be one of the few in the minority when I saw that while the same so far is really fun to play (made it the 3rd world so far) I'm actually really disappointed in the quality of the voice acting. While some characters read really well and fluidly (Donald, Goofy, Sora) there are others who sound so stiff. It's obvious that they haven't done any voice work in a long time and their performance is really suffering because of it. Looking at you, Riku. Listening to him is just......ugh.
