intermission being the choice because I never actually got to play it myself. didn't have a PS5 when it came out, so I just watched Max's playthrough of it

But yeah even with just skipping most cutscenes it really shows how whack the pacing of this game is

i actually booted up Intermission the other night because I was itching for it too haha

Still just as fun to play and most minigames are still enjoyable

Revelation trailer made me itch to play the combat again so I just started a new run on rebirth

I personally really liked the Dyne scene on my first playthrough, but low key Dio was where a lot of my immersion is taken out. I like him as a character but goddamn he stands out sometimes a bit too much

during my playthrough, i made it to corel and then just had to take a long break from the game before coming back to finish the rest like half a year later

I think the pacing was spread a little [i]too[/i] thin to keep this a trilogy which made the lows more apparent

I think this is why thinking back on it, I like remake more than rebirth. Remake's tone and mood felt cohesive while still having silly moments that didn't take me out of it. Rebirth I feel had higher highs, but the lows are way lower

Some posts about KH4 and the trailer from PJ, primarily that maybe in Quadratum these arent the original selfs of the Wielders, but data/illusions/whatever instead (which would make the matter of how time works there not an issue, which would needed to be adressed), and that its not sure that Quadratum is a afterworld for all the characters and Keyblade wielders, because the wielders shown in the trailer all disappeared under extraordinary circumstances and some upperclassmen in Dark Road were shown to be in the Final World not in Quadratum:
