No that is still one of the most talked things about the series, even before the remake was ever announced

I think discussions died down when advent children happened

but in the end they didn't get any real backlash from it

And Rebirth's ending is anything but being right, its one of the most confusing messes of endings to exist

Except people remember the ending? Its still one of the most discussed things about the series

Getting Rebirth's ending right was way more important. No one remembers og FF7's ending. People will always remember the Aerith scene

fortunately for SE the ending is one of the weakest parts of og ff7

I am excited how people will react to the ending as well

PS also has most of my libraries digital and physical so no way I will be ditching this anytime soon

PC is nice and all and I have a good enough one to play with, but I just love the ease of access on a console and the ps5 (with with a pro) plays majority of the games pretty damn well
