I recently started playing KHUx again to try a specific event.

 

The latest Challenge event on KHUx has specific mission objectives which require you to deal 20,000 or more damage on Trial 2 round 5 as well as deal 40,000 or more damage on trial 3 round 5.

 

I just want to ask how does this work? Because my 6 star boosted Marluxia medal (speed attribute) can deal 17,000 in one hit at most - even when I've boosted its speed elemental attack and normal attack twice using medals.

 

Has anyone here manage to accomplish this mission objective? If so, please share your suggestions ~

Hmm what Keyblade did you use, and how high is the multiplier in that Keybade?

I can understand the trouble of reaching 40k without guilted medals but reaching 20k should be pretty easy.

Honestly I have been able to reach both without using too many epic/premium medals however buffers like Pooh and Piglet do seem necessary.

Make sure you're using Lady Luck rather then Olympia as Olympia's speed slots are pretty average and not really worth it.

If you want to reach tht 40k, make sure you a decent amount of buffers, RAX is obviously extremely helpful as it's a free medal with +1 Atk but thts if you have one.

Generally with a guilted Marluxia you should be able to reach tht 40k easily otherwise a normal Hag or guilted Larxene should be good enough.

Make sure you have whatever medal ur using to have Attack Boost II MAX or simple Attack Boost II if you're generally just lucky otherwise you could always depend on a friend medal.

When I generally want to do a High Score Challenge or something else, I tend to just search up a party sharing specific medals I want to use who's approval is Auto and just temporarily join them.

Try using King Mickey if you have him 6*. And make sure to put the medal on the strongest magic multiplier slot(either on Three Wishes or Divine Rose). Then before that medal put all your strength boost medals. If it doesn't work, you could try using a friend medal who has a strong 1 hit attack. Just have a keyblade consisting of strength boost medals and then use the friend's medal.

 

Personally my setup was Piglet(2 tier boost) and King Mickey(maxed out) on Divine Rose. And I did 50,000 damage.

You have to use booster medals that should get you the damage you're looking for.

you have to use plenty of multipliers, I used Illustrated Cloud myself.

I managed to do the 40000 with hag and a X4 atk boost. I don't know if you have her though. Marluxia should be more than ok with enough boosts

62k damage with a 48% guilted SH Beast (not maxed, just +400 atk) with AB2 buffed by 3 colorless and 1 red on Olympia+25. With an Olympia+20 and 20% guilt you should reach 40k damage with those buffs, otherwise use a Mowgli&Pals or a Marluxia in Lady Luck/Starlight/Divine Rose

You need something that will only deal one hit, not multiple, and buff/debuff as much as possible. I'm almost there with Black Coat King Mickey and Attack Boost II... 39k damage with three buffs and one debuff, on Olympia.

I'm a Free to Play player....Could that be a reason why?

 

If you think 17K damage is weak, you should have seen how I fanboyed when I first dealt 5K damage ~

Your Marluxia shouldn't have that weak damage, especially when you have the boosted version of it (+1000). Did you use Chip Medals on it? It could be your Keyblade lacking higher multipliers. It also sounds as though you only used normal attack. You have to use its special attack.

I have a Cogsworth, very handy blue medal!! But I don't have a Illus Aerith.

It is the boosted version. I even checked twice. I've only used 1 of each 6 star Chip and Dale on it so far. I don't feel confident using up my chips and dales on that medal since its difficult for those medal to come by. I think its very likely that my Keyblade is lacking in multipliers. My Lady Luck (Speed Keyblade) is only upgraded to 20+, I always have heaps of difficulty with the adamantite missions.

Hmm I see.

 

One thing you need is attack boost I or II (preferably II of course). I doubt it's possible to deal 40k damage without that.

Then you should LV up your Marluxia to LV 100. His special attack is pretty good, way better than my King Mickey's, so the Keyblade multiplier is fine.

 

Then you need at least 3 boosts, I think I used 4
