Power Jusho 1,784 Posted October 4, 2016 So FUN FACT: Danganronpa 1•2 Reload was originally PS Vita exclusive in Japan. And now it's being released here in the west as a PS4 exclusive to catch people up in case they don't have a PS Vita. 3 Frisk, Josuke Higashikata and The Transcendent Key reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted October 5, 2016 Huh, well I'll be! I always wanted to try out these games, and it looks like I'll finally be able to do so! Now I can see what the big deal is with these games!

Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted October 5, 2016 wow that's pretty great. nice that they're being made available to more people. i'll probably skip out on this because i'm planning on getting the second one for Vita soon. the Danganronpa games are really good as portable experiences, especially for long trips imo. cool little bundle though
Xiro 3,468 Posted October 5, 2016 What does Reload have that's new compared to the original games? Because if it's just 1+2 together I could just get 'em on a Steam Sale

Because if it's just 1+2 together I could just get 'em on a Steam Sale Steam has the Reloaded versions apparently. Compared to the originals on the PSP, they have a 'dating sim' like mode This tells an obviously non-canonical story of what were to have happened if what triggered the events in the main story did not happen

Now I can see what the big deal is with these games! If you like visual novels, you'll love this series and like Power Jusho said it'll be a good catch up for when V3 is released. There's also an anime, Danganronpa 3, I wouldn't recommend you watch it until you finish these two games, as the anime is for fans of the series to get more story and lore. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Well, I've never played a visual novel before, but I've heard that the stories of these games are pretty darn good, and the series itself has quite the reputation! So I'm willing to try it out and see how much I like it!
