Tokyo Game Show 2010 has just started (a few hours ago in fact), and Kingdom Hearts got its time in the spotlight as soon as the conference began, as Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto took the stage during Sony's press conference to provide details on Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix for the Playstation Portable. Here's what we know so far:

 

Sony Press Conference Details:

-The trailer played at the Tokyo Game Show features a new armored warrior. (Who could it be?)

-The game will release in Japan in January 2011.

-There will be new content added to the game, on top of the additional content already added to the North American/European release.

-A Monstro stage has been added to the Mirage Arena.

-If you purchase Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, you will receive a code to download a costume for Cloud in Dissidia Duodecim 012, that will change his appearance to look like Kingdom Hearts Cloud.

 

In addition to this, a trailer was shown. HEARTSTATION.ORG have stated that Final Mix will contain new cutscenes, bosses, and a "Secret Episode revealing secrets of the series". Also, in the Mirage Arena, Monstro will be available as a world, and Master Eraqus will be able to be fought in his armor.

yes it has been confirmed that lightning and kain will be in it and that each character from the original have been updated with new abilities and a 3rd costume change

I knew this was coming.... I don't have a problem with JP getting a final mix..but I mean come on. Why can't we just get the stuff they get? How come everything they get has to be better than our version?

Hmm interesting. I'll have to investigate in more of the details whether I'll buy it or not. It depends on how much of a difference there is between the English BBS and BBS FM

that armored figure kinda looks like terra and xion's final form... and do you think they might add something to the secret ending like they normally do with the final mixes?
