i need advice on how to beat master xehanort for terra, please?

EDIT: I beated him now. xD

Mysterious Enemy

Moves

- Clone- (Creates 5 copies of himself that attack independently, smart dodge so none catch up to you and bone you)

- Vanish- (Invisible for set time, cannot target him, continues to use other abilities, spam dodge)

- Swarm (Floating balls fly around and try to shoot you, spam dodge)

- Chrono Stop- (has a chance of procing after a hit, turns back time to point before he took the damage and is not stunned, just dodge away..)

- Times up...- (grabs you and you have 5 secs to spam X or he basically kills you, easly avoided if dodging)

- Sky Climber- (if caught in this, he hits you repeatably while throwing you into the sky, kinda like Ventus move, easily avoided)

- Charging up- ( he will phase and "charge" up a random ability like Raging Storm (aqua), Meteor (Terra), Gust (like Ventus Tornado but drops your cards), Mega Flare (All) and Vanish (All)

- Normal Attack -( Multiple swings of Ethereal blades)

- X Shoot ( jumps up and shoots an X at you, easy to avoid and best chance at attacking him)

- Death Grip (Yes i used to play as a Death Knight lol, he jumps up and shots a spear at you and if it grabs you it lefts you up in air and dude punches you twice, easy to avoid if dodging)

Notes

- at around 50% he starts to use his abilities in unison (Raging Storm with Vanish or Vanish with Swarm)

- Best chance to hit him is when he has just fired a X Shoot, it might be the only opening you get sometimes to hit him

- Be at least 50 and have all the necessary abilities maxed out (Second chance, Attack haste, etc)

-Practice makes Perfect, you will probably not down him first try, personally it took me 5 times to do it so be patent

- This boss felt easier then Vantus Sediment so the worse is behind you..

- DO NOT USE MINES, he will just laugh at you and jump over them

-Curaga is ok to use in this fight

- almost all of his moves can be avoided either by spamming dodge or "smart" dodging

Strategy

Terra

- Pick Someone else....enough said

Ventus

-I personally used him to defeat this guy and the one toon i recommend to use in this fight because of his speed

-equip Thunder Surge x2 and Curaga, any Shoot lock you want( if you use it your NEVER going to be able to fill it) and make sure your dodge is NOT Thunder Roll

-Now your wondering Thunder Surge? WTF, Surges in general are a very good attack in just about all boss fights in this game, The Thing to do is to time your use of Thunder Surge so you ran into him or even blow through him while doing some good damage, The best time for this is after he does his X Shoot Ability and just dodge away when he recovers

- Now if you got the timing really down and know how to use Thunder Surge then try hitting him during his charging up phase RIGHT AFTER he Shoots off a Gust and misses you, dont do it for the other abilities or your risking getting hit.

- Right now idk if you could use Fire surge instead because i dont know if it has the same Stunning effect as Thunder...if someone can verify this it would be great

- most of the fight will be you just spamming the dodge button and waiting for an opening so be patent

Aqua

- I have yet to beat him as Aqua so you could do same thing as Ventus or you could mix things up with Fire Balls and Shoot Locks

Theory

-I have yet to try this but in theory if you go into the fight with mines and lay them down, he will jump over them and possible leave himself opened to a Surge or any other attack, need 3rd party verification

- You could hit him with a surge as hes running at you to Attack or when he gets Clones out to take them out quickly but leaves you open to counter attack

A neat little trick for the mysterious figure,

if you hit a snag, and you're down to say... his last bar and a half. Then D-Link with Aqua (both emblems), cause she gives you an ability that ressurects you from death one time...

I finally beat MF with Ventus, so guide coming soon.

wow. just wow. I never relized this fact that the guide is like trying to read a map that's in Russian and then it's writen backward. but i need help in terra story at the last boss vs. terranort (terra/xehanort) i get him to his 2nd to last bar and then he desides to start thrwoing rocks at everything.

Just wait a few seconds, then target Xehanort with shotlock, the invulnerability you have while firing off your S.L. burst will prove invaluable.

The strategy guide only gives a slight outline for what to do. Not specifics, and specifics make things great

seriously, it basically tells you to shotlock everything

Not to mention countless errors >.<

THE REPORT IS GAINED IN SINISTER SENTINEL NOT WEAVER FEVER YOU LIAR.

Aint that the damn truth. I went through Weaver Feaver like, 15 times to get it and it never showed up. So i just got pissed and went to Sinister to blow off some steam and i got it. I was like WTFFFF!!! >(

Thats what I meant...-sigh-

Thats mostly a Shotlock battle. Prism Rain or Ragnarok are especially helpful. Because Vanitas leaves himself open for a full load all the time.

And run like hell when a red/black blob comes towards you. That means bye-bye...

okay i killed vanitas im at final episode terranort

i found a way that kinda works

i wait for him to do ars solum then i double jump and use seeker mine

is there a more effecrive way?

disregard wat i said about about the absolute zero shootlock thing

OK then what's a strategy to beat Iron Imprisoner 4 by myself, and don't say shotlocks because i REFUSE to use them, they never work for me and then i end up dying :( So what's a good way to beat him

I have a question. Okay i'm Aqua, and i'm a level 46, I have mine and potions. But for some reason, my dodge roll thing isn't working out. Is there any like quick way to kill him?

OK then what's a strategy to beat Iron Imprisoner 4 by myself, and don't say shotlocks because i REFUSE to use them, they never work for me and then i end up dying :( So what's a good way to beat him

no shootlock?

stay the EFF away from him

To assist those trying to fight VS as terra i suggest a line up similar to this:

Mine shield

megapotionx3

megapotionx3

megapotionx3

mineshield

megapotionx3

megapotionx3

megapotionx3

At the start of the fight, y ou can swing and start a early combo off on VS: however he might retaliate so be on your guard. When he does his "shade" ability make sure you try to shotlock (perferably a long shotlock like Dark-volley/Ragnorok) and let it rip just when the shield is full around VS. Make sure you hit perfect on all of ragnoroks "x" spots, or just wait out while dark volley works its magic, make sure once your SL wears off to dodge his attack. If you try to stay close to him: about 10 foot away from him, he will follow y ou: he runs faster than you so wait for him to get about 3 feet from you and plop mines down, then attack him with a combo untill he retaliates. then dodge, and try to dwell near the mines, this allows for your gauge to fill and for VS to get dazed.

Another thing that could help is to make your Combo bonus and airial combo bonus less: cause combo-f-boost will do more damage on the last strike no matter how long the combo is. Another thing that is helpful when he "shot locks you" dash behind him,a nd plop mines/swing at his back. this might knock him out of the shotlock completely also this is a safe time to use a megapotion.

The attacks that are avoidable (all of which are) will be listed in teh most difficult order:

1. he Veils himself in a dark shield, and shadow images of him dash from the shield to do damage to you and leave a after image. (best to shotlock while this is going on)

2. he will teleport behind you and do a quick slice at you, this is not considered a combo if he does it more than 3 times: y ou will die on the 4th hit to you.

3. he lifts his blade up, and fire shoots into the sky, he will then: 1. leap forward do a quick swipe. 2. leap towards you and do a quick "hammer" which leads to a X on the ground which does damage to you. 3. Leap towards you again and swing his blade up. 4. Launce a X-like attack towards you that homes.

4. he does a short succession of swings which hit twice then he jumps into the air, and launces a "sycle at you" if this hits you you will get confused making it a-lot more difficult.

5. he "says something" then dashes through you, leaving a group of "shadow orbs" on both sides: quickly dash out of it as it will cause Blind to you, as well as deal significant damage.

6. he jumps in the ground and rockets back out flinging fire orbs all around him: easiest way to avoid this is by Dashing right as he is "under you". Do not retaliate during this: you will die.

Other than that, keep your eye on your comands, and him make sure your not "waisting potions."

Another thing: when your finish command is ready, USE IT only time it might screw you over is that if you have 1hp left and he is mid of swinging when it resolves. In this case get ready to dash away. Level 51: normal 100% arena 100% report, weapon of choice: chaos ripper.

I'm currently fighting the MF i'll let ya guys know how that is going...he's a tough one for terra. I've gottem him down to 25% health...and he seems to decide to combine "orbs+meteor/megaflare" while he's invisable.

OK then what's a strategy to beat Iron Imprisoner 4 by myself, and don't say shotlocks because i REFUSE to use them, they never work for me and then i end up dying :( So what's a good way to beat him

If you don't wanna use Shotlock on him, then give the hell up. It's not worth the effort.

try unison rush thats how i beat him with ven(still trying to beat it with terra and aqua)

you canallways make the fight somewhat...around 5 hours long but be easy by just plopping mines on the ground when it pops out of the ground.

REst of it is avoid/cure then.

What is the quickest way to get medals in the Mirage Arena?

Play with your friends because when you beat your friend in arena battle you get something like 1.5x the medals or 2.0x the medals....... yeah
  • 2 weeks later...

answer?:I haven't actually tried it but, I read that if you use a group spell like group curaga the game thinks you are playing with friends and awards you more medals.

question:I accidentally made a new final episode file with Terra and the worlds' battle level for Ventus and Aqua went down even after I finish the new final episode. I erase the file and created two more final episode files with Ventus and Aqua but the battle level stays the same even after I beat those, can anybody help me?:(

ps. Yes, I saved and all my files have the little cross mark.

whats the best character to start with ven, terra or aqua?
