there is a scene where Aqua speaks to Terra (presumeably the real Terra). This cutscene is directly related to the top secret conversation between Namine and Terra which was revealed during the Japan KH Concerts.

 

Anyway, the real thing I want to ask is. How can Terranort be there to give Terra hell when....Ansem Seeker of Darkness is already existing in the realm of light to torment Riku/Sora in KH1? Also note in that cutscene that the Guardian appears and grabs Aqua and Ventus....so then are there 2 Guardians now? (One with Terranort and the other with Ansem the Wise)

 

I was under the impression that the second half of A fragmentary passage takes place during the a timeline that is parallel to KH1 hence the ending to A fragmentary passage occurs not long after KH1's ending.

 

 

But Xemnas exists already and we know that he spends time in the chamber of repose talking to Aqua's armor. Xemnas has Terra's body so we could asume that he also has Terra's heart.

I think it's probably because the terra we saw was more of a spirit form, but since they are connected things can happen?

Namine is just a heart in the present-day, so maybe she traveled back in time to help out Terra? You can time travel when you're just a heart.

Keep in mind that those Terra, Ven, and Terra-Xehanort are illusions made up by the Darkness that is trying to eat away at Aqua's heart (so those "Guardian arms" may have also been illusions that came with Terra-Xehanort's illusion, so don't worry, there's only one "physically real" Guardian out there at that time). Terra and Xehanort are only able to communicate because they have ties to the Darkness. Another thing to consider is that whatever Terra's fate is right now, there's no telling what happens to you when you share a body with someone and get split into a Heartless and Nobody of some combined person. What happens to Terra's consciousness, what happens to Master Xehanort's consciousness? It could be that however that split works, it works both ways. Terra, in whatever state he is in, is aware that Xehanort, as Xemnas, is trying to find Ventus, possibly to use him as another vessel for his 13 Seekers of Darkness (I mean, he's already emptied out and everything, plus Vanitas showed how much potential he had for Darkness). At the same time, Xehanort/Terra-Xehanort is trying to use this state to find it out from Aqua. With all that in mind, and based on what Xigbar said to Zexion back when the Organization was up to 11 members, this could place that event at roughly some time before Larexene and Roxas were inducted into the Organization, so well before KH1.

 

The Realm of Darkness seems to have a real Inception-y dream-logic sense of time, as it might be that minutes and hours might equal months or even halves of years, maybe even whole years themselves. Everglow actually did a pretty clever thing in his Birth By Sleep Chronicles videos where he placed the cutscenes involved Apprentice Terra-Xehanort in between various parts of the Secret Episode, kind of giving some idea of the scale of time that takes place in the Realm of Light as Aqua goes further through the Realm of Darkness. Now it's not technically canon, but I feel that it does help provide some perspective as to the rate at which events were transpiring.

 

So let's say for the sake of argument that by the time Aqua is fighting the Dark Hide boss, Xehanort has already turned himself and the other apprentices into Heartless and Nobodies. It could be by the time Aqua reaches the cliff/forest overlooking the fallen Castle of Dreams, Ansem Seeker of Darkness and his Heartless minions have already destroyed several worlds within the span of one or two years, and by that same point in time the Organization would have been comprised by at least it's 6 founding members and 2 instant recruits, Axel and Saix, depending on when Demyx and Luxord joined (any point between then and the cutscene between Xigbar and Zexion). Who knows, maybe other worlds even started falling one by one as Aqua keeps progressing through the already fallen ones, maybe Dwarf Woodlands wasn't there yet until she reached the end of Castle of Dreams, there's no way of knowing. Since how long Aqua lingers in one spot depends on the players' actions, it's almost impossible to scale this.

 

So skip forward to the part where she is talking with Terra in the destroyed Enchanted Dominion. By this point in time, it's possible that Xemnas is already well underway with trying to find Ventus to become a vessel for Xehanort (since the Organization isn't complete by the time he starts searching and the more Keyblade wielders he can grab the better). AND we already know from the scene with Xigbar and Zexion that Xemnas has been trying to communicate with Aqua through her armor in his own Chamber of Repose. This could perhaps be how Terra was able to communicate with Aqua, not just through his ties with the Darkness, but also because Xemnas/Xehanort is trying to take advantage of that connection to fish the information on where Ven is out of Aqua. So after that scene, it's likely that Xemnas became obsessed with trying to find the Chamber of Awakening, then that scene between Xigbar and Zexion happening not too long after, bringing the Organization's member count to at least 11, which leaves enough room for at least a year before the events of KH1 take place, maybe 2.

 

Ansem keeps destroying more worlds, Xemnas gets the Organization up to 12 while still scouting out and preparing Castle Oblivion as their new base of operations, then by the time Mickey and Aqua meet up, most of KH1 might have already taken place. I mean, who knows how much time has passed between Aqua being attacked by what might be the Guardian and falling into the Depths? A few minutes? Probably enough time for Sora to at least clear Hollow Bastion's second visit and fight Xemnas for the first time. So when Mickey and Aqua get to the Door to Darkness, they have already caught up to the climax of KH1. Factor in however much time passed for Aqua to reach the Dark Margin after Destiny Islands reformed and left her behind and that would equate to at least a year and a half or even 2 years later when she meets Ansem the Wise (lol, maybe it was like an hour or two, who knows how that place works?).

 

So with that hypothetical timeline in mind, it's possible to wrap your mind around how this whole thing works. It just takes a lot of extra effort...which I don't really mind doing for KH anyway.

 

And like I said, those Terra and Terra-Xehanorts are illusions made by the Realm of Darkness, Terra and Terranort are only able to communicate through them because of their ties to Aqua and the Dark realm. So that Guardian that showed up was just part of the illusion Terra-Xehanort package, it's not like there are two Guardians roaming around at the same time, least of all Terra-Xehanort and Ansem SEEKER OF DARKNESS (NOT Ansem the Wise like you called him) at the same time, you know, considering that Terra-Xehanort is Ansem's body before he split up.
