I spent the last week working on y own rendition of "Dearly Beloved" for a fan-made KH3 soundtrack. I changed up some chords, added new melodies. I tied in some themes from other works of mine for my KH3 soundtrack. I tried to give the opening a darker feel to it then the previous versions.

Composed by Yoko Shimomura

Arranged by Mark Messer (me)

Fool. Great job, this is well done. I think it might be a bit too loud near the end. I heard a little distortion. And you probably drowned out the piano part on purpose, but I bet it would sound nice if you raised the volume on it instead. There are some other things, too, but I'm not familiar enough with music composing to articulate what I would want to say.

Overall, good job. I really liked it.

I enjoyed listening to your arrangement of "Dearly Beloved. I thought that the orchestration that you used was nice. The addition of new melodies to the piece created an interesting polyphonic texture in several areas of the piece.

I thought your use of the brass section at the beginning of the piece was different.  It added more of a maestoso feeling instead of the traditional soft beginning we usually hear at the beginning of "Dearly Beloved." I also like how the flute played the main melody along with the piano as well.

What kind of cadence did you use to close the piece?

The only aspect I would have liked as an addition to your arrangement would be different dynamic levels. You can create a variety of expression and drama through the use of different dynamic levels. You did have a decrescendo from forte to piano at the end of the piece, which I enjoyed.

Anyways, nice job keep up the good work!

Wow man, this was beautiful! You truly know your stuff! This version of yours of Dearly Beloved had such power to it, and I loved how the beginning sounded darker, yet the theme itself triumphantly morphed into a beautiful setpiece! Truly amazing stuff man, you're great at this! Good job! :D

Beautifully done. Once again, you've outdone yourself with another masterpiece :D
