Hey guys! This is going to be the longest story I am ever going to write. It takes place right after KH2, when Sora and the gang are back at Destiny Islands. To further understand certain elements of this story, please read these two stories: Mystery and The Luna Diviner, Flurry of Dancing Flames

Introduction

 

I wanted to tell you immediately.

There are memories asleep inside you.

Those memory fragments connect to the future.

Sora, Riku, Kairi,

the truth surrounding the Keyblade,

passes through numerous connections,

which are inside your hearts.

Sora,

it all leads to you, and everyone is waiting for you.

The only one who can heal their sadness is you.

It's possible that the travels up until now,

compared to the next trip, may have been easy.

Everything thought to be accidental was really connected,

and the door to a new departure already seems to be opening.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi look at each other after finishing the letter. "What do you guys think this means?", Sora says. "I'm not sure", Riku replies. Kairi leaps off the tree branch the trio is sitting on, and runs towards the treehouse. Sora and Riku exchange glances and shrug, then look back at the letter. "I'm guessing we have to go on another journey, Sora", Riku sighs as he stares into the sunset. Sora looks down at his feet, and starts kicking them. "Well, at least we will all be together this time". Sora looks down at Riku, and both of them grin. Suddenly, Kairi comes running back to them. Sora jumps off of the branch. "Kairi...I have to go again. There are people I need to save, and I'm the only person who can save them." He holds a pained expression on his face. Kairi just grins, and grabs his hands, and places a Charm into his palms. "Hurry back." All of a sudden, Sora disappears. He finds himself traveling in darkness, unable to see where he is heading. After a few moments of a flying sensation, Sora finds himself on a completely new world. Skyscrapers are scattered all across the area where he is standing, each of them glowing in the night sky.

 

"It can't be", Sora breathes. He looks up into the sky and sees a pale yellow moon. No. This is impossible! He averts his eyes from the moon, to a castle that seems to be floating in the sky. This place was destroyed! Who could have rebuilt it? Before he could observe the world any longer, a man in a black cloak emerges from the shadows, hunched over.. His face is covered by a hood, and he is holding a long, black spiky keyblade. "Ah. Vanitas, I see you have returned." The man pulls off his hood to reveal his face. He was an old man, bald, with a silver goatee and golden eyes. The man creeps closer to Sora to get a good look at him. "On second thought, you are not Vanitas. But you bear a strong resemblance to him. Why is this? State your name boy." Sora, surprised by this mans sudden appearance, states his name. "Sora. Sora is my name sir. This charm led me here." Sora holds up the charm Kairi gave him. The old man squints at the charm. "So, I see you are an ally of the Keyblade Master Aqua. In that case...". The man swings his Keyblade at Sora, knocking him off of his feet. "Wait, what are you-". The old man strikes again, but Sora rolls over and dodges, and simultaneously summons his Kingdom Key. The old man's eyes grow wide when he sees Sora's Keyblade. "So, you are indeed the person I've been looking for."

Chapter 1: Revelations

 

"The person you've been looking for?", a stunned Sora says as he parries another attack from the man. "I have heard that a boy with a most powerful heart has inherited the Keyblade. I need a heart to accomplish my goals." Sora swings his Keyblade at the man and bounces back. "Who are you?", Sora yells. "I have not a name, for I have abandoned it long ago, along with my heart." Sora charges at the man, and tries to attack him, but all of his attacks are parried. "You are good at wielding your Keyblade, but you are not good on the offensive. I now know your power." The man swings his Keyblade at Sora, and Sora's Kingdom Key falls to the ground. "I see the time is not yet ready. You will see me again." With that, the man opens a portal, and disappears into the darkness.

 

Sora picks up his Keyblade, and turns his attention back to the castle. "I guess I have to find out why this charm brought me here." After walking a couple of blocks, Sora notices that he hears footsteps. He turns around, and sees a group of Neoshadows behind him. They leap into the air, and pounce at him. In a couple of swift movements, Sora swings his Keyblade and vanquishes them. He then continues his walk to the floating castle. Once he finally makes it to the castle doors, he feels a jolt in his hand. The charm starts to shake and flash. Before Sora knows it, he is transported again. He finds himself in a white room with a chair in the middle of it, and a suit of armor and a Keyblade located against the wall. "Where am I now?". Sora puts his Keyblade down, and walks over and bends down to touch the armor. The moment his hand comes in contact with the armor, a bright flash occurs, and Sora is again transported. After a few seconds of blindness, Sora lands face first on a dark beach. He picks himself up, head covered in sand, and notices two figures sitting down right in front of him. One is a man in a black cloak, with a hood covering his face, and another is a woman with short, blue hair. The two people jump up at Sora's sudden appearance. The man, after studying Sora's face, remains calm and simply says, "So you have come at last." The woman, however, remains in a state of complete shock. Sora notices the woman staring at him, and scratches his head in slight embarrassment. The man pulls off his hood, revealing his face, and his long brownish-blonde hair. "A-A-Ansem the Wise!", Sora exclaims. "Yes, it is I, Sora. And this young lady next to me is Aqua. She has met you previously." Sora looks at Aqua, and a faint memory of her passes through his mind. "Aqua?", he says. Aqua looks up at Sora, tears of joy in her eyes, and says, "Sora...you've grown so much."

 

Sora smiles sheepishly. "Gee, thanks. What are you guys doing here in the first place?". "I myself, was transported here after the explosion in The World That Never Was. Aqua, however, has been wandering this realm for 12 years now. She somehow entered this realm after attempting to help a friend." Aqua nods. "My friend Terra was possessed by a man named Master Xehanort. He was about to fall into the darkness, but I saved him, and I fell instead." Sora jumps up. "Master Xehanort?! Wasn't Xehanort one of your apprentices, Ansem?". Ansem shakes his head. "This Xehanort you speak of is the same person, but at the same time, isn't. The Xehanort you know of was the product of a man named Master Xehanort possessing the body of the young Keyblade Wielder Terra."

 

"Wait..but Ansem and Xemnas are destroyed, so does this mean Xehanort will return?". "I do not believe that Xemnas was the only Nobody spawned from Master Xehanort."

Chapter 2: Revelations 2

 

"So you're telling me that Master Xehanort has returned, Yen Sid?", says a mouse. He is in circular room full of books, conversing with a man in a blue robe and a blue hat, with stars and a half moon on it. "I'm afraid so King Mickey. And I believe he has an accomplice." Mickey's face is full of surprise. "Whooaaaa! An accomplice? Who is this?". Yen Sid does not reply. He places his hands to his temples and closes his eyes. "Mickey...I need you to bring Sora and Riku to me at once. They must take the Mark of Mastery exam."

 

Meanwhile, Sora is on the Dark Meridian with Aqua and Ansem the Wise. "Wait, I thought only one Nobody could be created?". Ansem the Wise nods. "This is true, Sora. But, to possess the young boy Terra's body, he had to leave his body and soul behind to do that, thus creating a Nobody." Sora sighs. "Wait..what does Master Xehanort look like?". Ansem the Wise closes his eyes, trying to remember Master Xehanort's body structure. "I have only witnessed his face once. It is a face of pride and evil, I can confess that. He is an aged man. He is tall, tan, and-". Ansem's words are cut off, as the charm in Sora's hand begins to vibrate again. In a flash, Sora finds himself laying on the ground face first on concrete. "Ouch, that hurt", Sora said as he gets up and rubs his head. As he gets to take a look around, he finds the place he is in familiar. "Hey! I'm in Radiant Garden!".

 

Before he gets to walk anywhere, he hears two people yelling his name. He turns around and sees a duck and a dog bounding towards him. "Sora, we finally found you!". "Gawrsh Sora, what are you doin' here?". Sora smiles as he sees his two friends. "Donald! Goofy!". All three of them run into each other and fall into the ground. "Why were you guys looking for me?", Sora says as he picks himself up off the ground and dusts himself off. "The King is here. He wants to see you immediately". "The King?! I need to talk to him. Where is he?". Donald points towards Ansem the Wise's castle. Sora starts to run towards the castle. "Come on guys!".

 

After a 5 minute run, Sora, Donald, and Goofy find themselves in the castle square. Before they reach the gates, they see a man in a black coat appear from thin air and land in the middle of the square. His hood falls due to his sudden landing. Sora sees the man's tan skin, amber eyes, and long silver hair, and he becomes filled with raged. He summons his Keyblade, and yells, "Xehanort!". Xehanort turns around, and looks Sora into the eyes. Suddenly, he collapses to the ground, grasping his head and screaming. Sora gasps, and he runs towards him. "Hey, are you okay?". He then jumps back as he sees Xehanort's face changing to a face that he has seen before. "Wait...Roxas?!", Sora exclaims. And with that, the man disappears.

Chapter 3: Revelations 3

 

"That...was weird", Sora says as the trio approaches Ansem's castle. "Gawrsh, first that guy looked like Xehanort, and then he looked just like Roxas! I wonder who he was", Goofy said. "He probably was from the Organization", says Donald. The three continue walking until they reach the castle doors. Sora puts his right hand out, and knocks on the door. Suddenly, the doors slowly open, and the three of them walk inside.

 

 

Mickey is on the other side to great them. "Hey fellas!". Sora, Donald, and Goofy bow. "Your Majesty", they say in unison. Mickey stares at Sora. "We need to talk Sora. We have reason to believe that Xehanort has returned". Sora nods. "Yeah, on our way here, we actually saw him! He just popped out of thin air! And then he fell to the ground, and...his face changed. It changed to Roxas' face. And then he disappeared again." Mickey starts to scratch his chin. "This whole ordeal is startin' to get confusing. How did you get here in the first place Sora?". Sora reaches into his pocket, and pulls out the charm Kairi gave him. "This thing teleported me all around. First it teleported me to the World that Never Was, and this old man tried to fight me." Mickey's ears perk up. "Wait, did he mention his name Sora?". Sora shakes his head. "No, he said he had abandoned his name a long time ago, along with his heart." Mickey's face changes from surprised to terrified. "Oh no...". Suddenly, a portal of darkness opens from behind Mickey, and the same old man enters the room from it. "Ah. Sora. Mickey. Glad to see you here." Sora and Mickey jump back and summon their Keyblades. Mickey yells, "Master Xehanort!". Sora looks at Mickey. "Wait. Ansem the Wise told me about him! He said something about he thinks Xehanort has more than one Nobody!". Mickey nods. "This..is Master Xehanort's Nobody."

 

"A perfect guess, King Mickey", Master Xehanort's Nobody snarls. "I have been in hiding, waiting for the perfect time to strike. I am Organization XIII's number 0, the true founder. I am the person who gave Xemnas instructions to create the Organization, as well as find other beings like us and invite them to join." "But how was it even possible for you and Xemnas to coexist?! Weren't you the same person?". Master Xehanort's Nobody shakes his head. "Yes...and no. I did possess the young Keyblade wielder Terra, but I left my body and my soul behind to do so. And when the fool locked our hearts, my memories escaped his body, and came back to my empty shell. When I learned that he had become an apprentice of Ansem the Wise, I sent messages to him through Braig, manipulating him. But then, the fool tampered with the darkness too much, and ended up to be swallowed by it. Soon after I located his Nobody, I gave him instructions to create an Organization. He then did so, picking up memories of his past life over the years. Soon, he gained the memories of his friends, Ventus and Aqua, and learned the whereabouts of one of them, Ventus. The other friend, Aqua, had left her armor behind. Some magic spell was left upon it, and he conversed with it, gaining more memories the more he talked to it. Eventually, his motives for the Organization had changed. Instead of just finding a heart, he wanted to gain all power from Kingdom Hearts to save his friends, and eradicate the forces of light and darkness. This idea ultimately led to his demise, by the hands of this boy."

 

Master Xehanort's Nobody ends his speech and turns his gaze on Sora. "This boy, a boy with many connections. But..I will be needing something from you. Something that has been deeply hidden within you. Or should I say somebody." In a swift movement, Master Xehanort's Nobody summons his Keyblade and points it at Sora. A beam of black light emits from it, and hits Sora in the chest. Mickey tries to parry the beam, but he is too late. Sora's eyes roll into the back of his head, and he falls onto the ground.

 

A hole opens in his chest, where his heart resides, and a hand erupts from it. The hand pulls itself out of Sora's chest, and then pulls the connected body out as well. Soon, a masked man with a red/black organic suit is lying on the floor next to Sora. Mickey screams when he sees this man. "Vanitas! Oh no!".

"Hahahahahahaha!". Vanitas picks himself off of the floor. He turns his head to Mickey. "It's been a long time, hasn't it Mouse?! I've been pinned up in that body for a long time." Vanitas stretches his arms, and rotates his neck. He then turns his attention to Master Xehanort's Nobody. "So it's time?". The Nobody nods. Mickey, in a state of shock, cannot move his muscles. Donald and Goofy, the same. Vanitas nods at Master Xehanort, and then he turns to Sora's limp body. "Hehehe. Time to make the X-Blade buddy." Vanitas bends down, and simply touches Sora on the head. A white eruption of light engulfs the two of them, and Master Xehanort's Nobody watches with interest.

 

Sora floats unconscious in the Station of Awakening. The station itself has a picture of a boy with blonde hair on one side, a picture of Vanitas on the other side, and a picture of Sora, holding a huge keyblade, in the middle. When Sora's feet touch the station, his eyes fluster open. "Wait, where am I?". Suddenly, he sees an unmasked Vanitas come floating down to the station, holding the X-Blade. "We are now one, Sora. The X-Blade is complete." Sora summons his Keyblade, but instead of summoning just his Kingdom Key, and unknown Keyblade appears in his left hand. The Keyblade has a reverse grip, with the teeth sticking up instead of down. Vanitas stares at Sora. "So you have Ventus' keyblade as well, I see."

 

"Ventus?", Sora asks. Vanitas breaks into laughter. "Man, you are more of an idiot than he was. Ventus, the boy who's heart resides in you. The boy who is the reason your Nobody did not resemble you at all." Sora frowns, and then charges Vanitas.

 

Meanwhile, Sora's body outside takes a drastic change. His eyes become golden, and his hair becomes black. Mickey unfreezes from his state of shock, and whispers to himself, "The X-Blade is complete. I must stop Xehanort right here and right now." Sora's body picks itself up, and sticks its right hand out. The X-Blade, completed, appears in his hand. His body then turns around and hands the X-Blade to Master Xehanort's Nobody. The Nobody holds the X-Blade with excitement. "At last. My greatest wish, my impossible dream, has become reality."

 

Mickey runs at the Nobody. "I can't allow you to go outside!". He swipes at him with his Keyblade, but Master Xehanort parries with easy. "You fool. The X-Blade has its will. I must follow it." Mickey's ears perk up once more. "Wait, what are you talking about?". Instead of answering, Master Xehanort's Nobody blasts Mickey, Donald, and Goofy with a Dark Fiagra, and then runs outside of the castle.

 

"The X-Blades will must be fulfilled." The Nobody puts the X-Blade on the ground, and summons his Keyblade. The Keyblade starts to glow, and then shift into a black ball. The Nobody then throws the ball into the sky. Soon, the sky turns gray, full of clouds, and Kingdom Hearts appears, bright blue. Master Xehanort's Nobody picks up the X-Blade, and then points it at Kingdom Hearts. "Finally. Finally. It will all become complete. It will all-". His speech is interrupted. A man in a black cloak fades into existence right in front of him. He takes a few seconds to stare at Master Xehanort's Nobody. He then summons two light blue Ethreal blades, and takes a battle stance, and sticks his arms out, similar to clock hands.

Chapter 5: Will

 

The figure dashes at Master Xehanort's Nobody, still in an attack position. The Nobody tries to parry, but does not do well, out of fear of breaking the X-Blade. The figure sees an opening, and shoves his right blade into the chest of the Nobody. Master Xehanort's Nobody's eyes begin to get wider. The figure pulls his blade from the Nobody's chest, and stands in a stoic position.

 

Master Xehanort's Nobody drops to his knees, blood dripping from his chest and mouth, X-Blade at this side. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy run outside to witness his dying. Mickey tells Donald to cure Master Xehanort, but the Nobody waves at Donald and says, "No. I must die here. It is its will for me to die. I must follow its will." Mickey runs to Master Xehanort's Nobody. "Master Xehanort. What or who is 'it'? Tell us!". The Nobody shakes his head. "We will all bow before its power. There is nothing you can do." With that, the old man closes his eyes for the last time, and his body falls limp. Mickey's eyes start to water up. He turns to the figure, standing like a statue staring at them. "Who are you?", Mickey asks. "I am not a person, but at the same time I am." "What?!". "I cannot explain my presence. It is for you to guess." And with that, the figure fades away the same way he appeared.

 

The X-Blade starts to rattle. Mickey attempts to grab it, but when he touches it, a painful shock goes through his body. He falls onto the ground, and watches in awe as the X-Blade shoots a beam right at Kingdom Hearts. When the beam hits the giant moon, the color of Kingdom Hearts changes from a pale blue to black. With that, the X-Blade shatters.

 

Inside Sora's heart, the station has been crushed. Vanitas and Sora are floating in mid-air, fighting. Sora flies at Vanitas, and attempts to slash him, but his attack is blocked by the X-Blade. "You will never beat me", sneers Vanitas. Suddenly, the X-Blade shatters in Vanitas' hand, and Sora slashes him with the Fresh Breeze and the Kingdom Key. Blood shoots from Vanitas' body as he falls. "Damn you. Damn you Ventus. Damn you Sora. DAMN YOU ALL!." With that, Vanitas bursts into little balls of light.

 

Sora still falls, slipping in and out of consciousness. A ball of light exits his chest, and he smiles weakly. "He..he can finally wake up." He closes eyes as the ball of light floats away from him.

 

Instead of falling into a continuos abyss, Sora lands on an all black station. "Wait...I thought my heart was destroyed", he says as he lands on the station. He looks down and observes the pictures on the station. The station portrays a man in a black coat, holding two blue blades on the left side, while on the right side, it shows that same man with his hood off, wielding the X-Blade. The man's hair is long and blonde, with spikes at the very ends of it. His eyes are a bright gold. Sora squints as he sees his face, and realizes that this is the same man from before. Suddenly, a beam of light shoots from thin air, and pierces Sora in the chest.

 

Sora falls to the ground, panting heavily, blood dripping from his mouth. "What...what is going on?". Suddenly, a cloaked figure fades into existence right in front of Sora. It sticks its right hand on Sora's chest, and summons a blue Ethreal blade. The blade pierces Sora, and the pain hits him immediately. His pupils start to dilate, and he falls to his side, blood spilling all over the station. "This is its will", the figure says. And then it fades away. Sora, gasping for air, turns on his back, and reaches up to the nonexistent sky. "Kairi....Riku....I'm sorry." Then his eyes close, and his body becomes limp.

Ho Mai Gawd. Such a freaking awesome chapter.

Wow, this has to be like the M rated version of Kingdom Hearts, I'm lovin it!

As you asked for my opinion, I shall give you legitimate and honest criticism.

 

First thing I notice is that you attempted to interpet Kingdom Hearts III in your perspective, which was fine. You did a pretty good job at that. However, in your first chapter, this whole teleporting thing ruined the Aqua and Ansem moment. Sora already meeting them seems unrealistic. It also gave away unnecessary BBS spoilers too quickly, making it also seem unrealistic. But this is just the beginning of the story and your way of writing, so it's acceptable.

 

Great that you made it more mature. If it wasn't, it wouldn't keep me motivated on reading it, even though it's KH and KH is rated for kids.

 

I like that even though MF has barely any details besides the two blue Ethreal blades and his connection to time/clocks/gears/etc, yet you give him a face, hair, and a voice. It was unique.

 

I loved the plot twist the most. I saw that you pulled a Avatar plot twist, which if you saw the show, you know what I mean (if you don't, then you would that even if events start to look good but turn bad and etc). If you kept it all "I haz beaten da guy and totally still in good shape", then I would of stop of read it.

 

And my final opinion I have on your story is this: it started to feel vaguly similar to my story, The Dark Era of Sora. But as I continue reading, it's start to feel too much like BBS. Too similar when Sora fought Vanitas or MX's Nobody summoning KH and etc.. But you did keep things different, which was great.

 

Overall, plot elements could probably be worked on, but still a great story to read. I recommand you keep writing. I want to feel more experience with MF, now that you exposed some light on him (makes me want to add him into my story).

Yeah, I could've just x'd out the teleporting sequences. I should have stopped after the first one. And I did introduce ATW and Aqua too soon.

 

My stories must include blood. Plot twists are always going to be included in my story That's my style.

 

My apologies for similarities. I just used certain elements of BBS as symbolism, because as we know, KH's history repeats itself.

 

MF will definitely be included more into the story. You guys will be able to interpret which side he is really on at the end of the story. As you saw, he killed a villain, and he killed a hero. His motives have yet to be defined.

 

And, I want you guys to try to answer this question. Who is the true villain of this story. Pay close attention to MX's words in Chapters 4 and 5. His words hold the answer.

Chapter 6: Hidden Truths

 

Meanwhile, Riku and Kairi are on Destiny Islands, sitting on the beach, still in awe at Sora's sudden disappearance. "Gee. I hope he is okay", Kairi sighs as she picks up some sand in her hand. Riku grins. "Don't worry Kairi. He is fine. Just fine." Kairi smiles and looks into Riku's face, and then gasps. His eyes had turned amber. Kairi gets up from the beach, and starts to back up slowly. "Riku...is there something wrong?". "Idiotic girl", says a voice that was not Riku's. Riku's skin color turns from white to tan, his hair begins to grow longer, and his clothes had changed. Kairi stared in awe as she saw Riku transform into Xehanort's Heartless, right in front of her.

 

"Are you surprised, girl? My Nobody has been destroyed. But I have not, for I was never slayed by a key." Ansem smiles. "My knowledge of Kingdom Hearts has increased, as I slept in Riku's heart during your adventures. I now know what I am supposed to do. And I plan to succeed." Ansem begins to walk towards Kairi. "I need your heart, if you please." Kairi tries to run, but her leg is caught by a massive Heartless arm. She screams as Ansem's Guardian drags her towards him. "You are mine", he says. Before he can do anything, he grips his head, and starts to yell in intense pain. He drops to his knees, and a ball of light exits his chest, and disappears right after. Ansem's presence starts to fade away, leaving an unconscious Riku left laying on the beach. Kairi gets up from the ground and runs to him. She shakes him awake. He sits up, grasping his head. "What just happened?", he asks. "You...you got possessed by Ansem again. And he tried to take my heart, but he collapsed right before he could do it. And then someones heart exited your chest." "My chest?". Riku places his hands on his chest. "I. I feel like something big just left me. But it was for the good. I can feel the person who was connected to me is happy."

 

 

The ball of light that floated out of Riku is at Castle Oblivion. It sees an unconscious man laying in a field. The ball floats to the man, and starts to emit a gentle light as it enters his chest. The man, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a confused expression on his face, wakes up from his unconsciousness. "Where am I?".

 

 

The cloaked figure is in front of the door to Kingdom Hearts, kneeling. An ominous voice cuts the silence and says, "You have done well. But there are more tasks for you to accomplish. The Keyblade Wielder, Terra, has just become whole. And the Keyblade Master Aqua is still alive. Deal with them accordingly." The figure bows. "Your will shall be done." He pulls his hood off, revealing his face. His face shows his age, no older than 20. He has slash scar right between his eyes. His eyes were bright gold, but with a hint of light blue on the outsides of his pupils. His hair was long, and it fell to his shoulders in spikes. The figure gets up from his bow, and fades away.

Chapter 7: Confrontation

 

On the Dark Meridian, Aqua and Ansem the Wise continue to sit and wait for hope. "I wonder why Sora disappeared so suddenly", Aqua says as she stares into the endless night sky. Ansem the Wise sighs. "I do not believe Sora is coming back. Not soon. Something inside of me is telling me that he is in great trouble." Aqua places her right hand to her chest, where her heart is located. "Yeah, I feel something is wrong too. It's like his presence just disappeared." Suddenly, the area in front of Aqua and Ansem the Wise starts to glitch up a bit. "What was that?", Aqua asks. Before Ansem the Wise can answer, the Figure fades right in front of the duo. Aqua jumps up from her seat and summons Master Eraqus' Keyblade. "It's you! The person I fought before!", she screams. Ansem the Wise does not budge from his seat, but just replies, "Indeed. It is him. If he is here, then we must be in trouble, and it has begun."

 

"What?". The Figure does not allow the two to finish their convo. Before they know it, he summons his two Ethreal Blades, and then charges at Aqua. Aqua goes on the offensive, and her Keyblade meets the Figures blades in a loud clash. Struggling for the upper hand, each of them press against each other, trying to force either person back. During the struggle, the Figure's hood slips off, and Aqua gasps, letting her guard down. Seeing his opening, the Figure slashes Aqua across her midsection with his blades, spattering blood across the beach. Aqua falls down to the ground, holding her Keyblade in one hand, and clutching her stomach in the next. She takes one more look at the Figure staring down at her. "Ven! Ventus!", she calls out. But as she gets a better look at the Figures face, she realizes it isn't the person she thought it was. The Figure has a similar face to Ventus', but it is battle worn, and his eyes are different. So is his hair. As realization strikes Aqua, the Figure takes the time to speak. "I am not the person you think I am. I don't even know my name myself. I am just a messenger, sent from it. It's will must be fulfilled."

 

Ansem the Wise gets up from his seat. "So you are trying to kill all of the Wielders of Light. What is that going to solve? You will not get your-". In one swift movement, the Figure disappears from in front of Aqua, and in front of Ansem the Wise, pointing his Ethreal Blades menacingly at his throat. "You know nothing, old man. You must follow its will. It does not subject to rebellion."

 

Ansem the Wise laughs. "Rebellion? All 'it' has done is corrupt the minds of everybody who has gotten close to it, including yourself. I advise you to stay away from it."

 

The Figure starts to tremble with anger. "You dare....you dare." A blueish glow starts to emit from the Figure. He puts his hands on his coat, and throws it off, revealing his body. He is not wearing a shirt, and he has a giant tattoo of a heart that covers his chest and his stomach. His eyes start to glow blue. "You dare insult me." Something is wrong. His voice is different. It is his old voice, but it sounds like someone else is talking through him. "I am Kingdom Hearts!".

Chapter 8: Confrontation 2

 

Ansem the Wise throws back his head and begins laughing. "This is all very amusing. You refer to yourself like you are a God, but let me tell you something. You are nothing without the Keyblade Wielders. They are the ones who kill enough Heartless to create you in the first place." The Figure throws his Ethreal Blades into the sand in anger, but doesn't reply.

 

Ansem the Wise continue. "And I don't see why you had to brainwash this poor boy into believing you were a god. Why are you possessing him? Tell me. An 'all powerful' being such as yourself could surely maintain a human form. Why are you wrecking havoc in his body?".

 

The Figure picks his blades back up and points them once again at Ansem. "This boy...this boy. He holds great power. A power you know nothing about."

 

Ansem the Wise takes the time to laugh again. "Oh I know about this boy. This boy is powerful indeed. I know all of his origins."

 

The Figure shakes his head in disbelief. "How do you know so much?". Ansem the Wise grins. "Research. Research. This boy was an apprentice to Master Xehanort, while he was on the quest for the X-Blade. The apprentice before Ventus. Master Xehanort experimented with his heart, but did something wrong. Instead of creating a whole being with the darkness of his heart, Master Xehanort split his actual life into three different things, thus creating the first Heartless and Nobody. The third part of his life, the boys memories, were eradicated. Master Xehanort used the Heartless, a Heartless made from a heart of pure light, and summoned you, Kingdom Hearts. The Heartless was eradicated as soon as you were summoned. Xehanort offered the Nobody as a sacrifice for power. However, you declined, and took the Nobody anyways. Instead, you pointed Xehanort to Ventus."

 

"With the Nobody in your possession, you sought to use it as a body for yourself. However, Xemnas started to change you, by feeding you the dark hearts of the fallen Heartless. When the Nobody, Roxas, fused with Sora, the heart within Roxas was released, and you took it, and gave it to the boy, making him slightly whole. However, due to the body spending so much time soaking in your power, as soon as the boy received a heart, he traveled back into time, without memory. Xemnas found this boy, and put him into the Organization, but hidden from the other members. He knew that the boy had a strong connection to Ventus, but he did not know that the boy harbored had Ventus' heart deep inside of him. Somehow, the boy traveled back in time again, and fought Aqua, and then traveled back to the current time, where you then took full control over him, brainwashing him to do your bidding. Oh, I know your ways."

 

The Figure is speechless. Aqua, bloodied but conscious, props herself up against a rock and says, "That means...if we destroy this figure, Ventus' heart will go back to him, waking him up." Ansem the Wise nods. "Precisely."

 

The Figure jumps back, and starts to twirl his blades. "You will not defeat me, Ansem! The only Keyblade Wielder you have here is mortally injured! You have no weapon!".

 

Ansem the Wise shakes his head, and sticks his right arm out in front of him. "You know nothing." A stream of light engulfs his hand, and in a flash, a Kingdom Key with a gray blade and a white hilt appears in his hand.

Holy Crap Tards! That was totally awesome! I love how totally possible this is! And all that was so like Ansem! But I didn't understand the whole Kingdom Hearts thing-a-ma-jig (When you were talking about what Xehanort did to Ventus or something, I don't know, but I got how Kingdom Hearts was possessing the body, which was some sort of Nobody which Xemnas was hiding, and some of the time travel stuff). It was still cool!
