I've been playing KH2 again, for who knows how many times now, and have been wondering. What would Sora's Nobody look like without Ven merging his heart with Sora's. Maybe Ventus. But even though that question may not be answered by Nomura, its just something that's been bothering me now. Would Roxas still look like Ven, or a different Nobody?

Well, Sora had a strong heart, so it could be possible that his nobody would look exactly like Sora.

I think your question kinda answers itself if they didn't merge hearts Sora's Nobody would like Sora with different hair, maybe even like Vanitas. notice how I used spoiler tags to go into detail about a recently released game

Actually, the english version of BBS proved that their hearts didn't merge. Ven's heart only took shelter within Sora's, like what Kairis' did in KH1. Anyways, without Ven's heart, Roxas would look like Sora.
