Chapter I: The New Arc-Sora and the new outsider.

 

"...Hey! Sora! come on man! we'll be late for college!" said a young man waiting outside what appears to be the cross between both a shack and a house, as inside the house, getting ready was another young man, age 19, wearing a very nice and specific uniform, opening up the window and saying to his friend waiting outside "Okay! i'm just getting my pack-lunch, don't go wandering off without me Kuze!" said the young man, as we catch a glimpse of his very spiky hair and before we know it, we see him opening up his front door and then see a glimpse of the crown shaped necklace strapped around his neck, as lastly, we get a full body view from bottom to top of the young man and then see a close up of his smiling face, this smiling face belonging to the young man known none other, than Sora, the "once" hero of the Keyblade, himself, smiling with a huge grin on his face, as the sun shines brightly down upon him.

"Yeah, i better go now too, Ansem the Wise is contacting me at his lab in Radiant Garden." said Riku to both Luke and Lucy, preparing to head off and jump Worlds using a Corridor of Light as meanwhile, Pais listens to Invi, hearing her story about herself, Thunder and Jake and what happened to them.

Invisa looked at Pais as she folded her hands on the table, as she began to explain, as a scene changed to in the Keyblade Graveyard. eight years ago, with Invisa standing in front of what appeared to be a cave, gazing upon it, and the scene changed to Invisa walking through the cave, gazing upon crystals on the walls and ceiling. "I was given a lead by someone to a cave at the Keyblade Graveyard. Apparently, according to the lead, I was to find something that was lost in time, due to a great battle, referring to the Keyblade War... I went inside, and explored it to see what I could find... I wasn't usually a firm believer of old tales those years back... But something compelled me to investigate, as it might give me some incentive..." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. Eventually, she arrived at the entrance to what appeared to be a spring, which awed Invisa greatly, and she walked inside, and saw Thunder and Jake as statues, with horror on their faces, standing next to one another in the center of the room, and Invisa approached them to investigate them. "I then came across a spring at the end of the cave... At the center of the room, I saw them, and I went to investigate, and in my eagerness... I saw a dark creature as I examined them, a powerful, foul monster..." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. Lucy looked at Luke, and nodded.

Serenity smiled and laugh at her father. While Kelly looked at the two of them, "Well, I am just concerned, but I trust you and he is your friend, so I am willing to let him become The Godfather. You know, it may not be a bad idea after all with the ways things are going. Scarlett is a world away, and Harry is too busy with finding Annistha. It might be a good idea for Serenity to have another person looking after her." Kelly said with a smile.

Luke created a corridor of light as well and looked back at Riku, "Take care of yourself Riku, and if you ever need anything, you know how to contact Lucy and I." Luke said as he held the portal open for Lucy. Although, the destination wasn't set, because it would be a surprise to him, but he wanted Lucy to pick where they ended up next, and thus after she walks in, the corridor will take the both of them wherever she chose.

{The World That Never Was}

Soft rain sprinkled the Dark City that had once housed Organization XIII's home base. Neon lights and a few flashes of lightning illuminated a body lying on the steps to Memory's Skyscraper. She lay deathly still as the rain continued to fall. Above the sound of rain hitting the ground, a susurration could barely be heard, a dark murmuring building up. It suddenly ended, replaced by a gasp as the woman drew in a breath.

Her eyes snapped open, wide with panic. She clutched at her chest as she struggled to continue breathing. She rolled over onto her side and half curled into a fetal position. Slowly, her breathing became less labored and the pain eased in her chest. Questions flooded her mind, from what was happening to her to who she even was. But there were no accompanying answers. Slowly, this lone survivor pushed herself into a sitting position to look at the world around her. It looked harsh and empty to her dark eyes. One more thing she didn't know. What she did know was that she needed shelter. She felt so tired.

Struggling to her feet, the Survivor took a few wobbly steps, then stopped as she considered where she could possibly go in this alien world.

Kirito eventually awoke, stretching his arm some as he got up casually he began to walk, his sword hanging in the sheath that was slung across his back, as he continued on. From his arrival it was ironic that the world had obviously shaped for the better over the two years he was here, some areas which use to look bleak and still in need of repair had made a great and steady progress. The City of Light was looking once again better.

 

Considering the time he slept was about oh an hour or two he imagined he'd be wanted back to the castle, his arrival, and knowledge on Tech engineering and the virtual and eagerness to learn in science had made him someone to often visit and usually help around, granted it meant he almost never got a moment of peace so the one's he did get were savored.

 

He began making his way their hands stuffed into his pants pockets, as he eventually found himself nearing the Castle entrance some of the older ways such as the breach that had been repaired from a few years back and been blocked off mostly meaning the old way to the castle was the best way... Plus it gave a nice overlook of town that one could easily enjoy staring down at and let the beauty of the world sink in.

"This monster...was it a Heartless?" said Pais, curious about this foul, Dark monster that his wife encountered whilst finding both Thunder and Jake, as statues in a cave at the Keyblade Graveyard, as Riku simply nodded towards Luke, bidding him and Lucy farewell before walking through his own Corridor of Light, ending up at the supercomputer lab of Ansem the Wise where he alerted the presences of Dilan, Even, Aeleus, Ienzo and both very shockingly and very surprisingly the last person in the room being Isa, wearing a science coat just like Even and Ienzo, all looked at Riku with stern, serious looks on their faces whilst remaining silent, Riku doing exactly vice versa...

Invisa looked at Pais, and shook her head. "No, it was a Necrosis, the monsters that Shadowdrius had created, this was my first encounter with a Necrosis, and back then, I didn't know what they were, this one was a phantom of sorts... It appeared that Shadowdrius, who I also didn't know until one day, had sent it to finish them off... I fought it, and I fought it, but I hadn't forgot how mindless it was, those glowing red eyes... They looked liked they were nothing but evil... It even held a scythe..." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. In the flashback, particles of Darkness began to gather, and Invisa turned around, and saw the particles forming into a Necrosis Phantom, which appeared to have a demonic mask as a face, with glowing red eyes, wielding a scythe, and with a single wing, and the Necrosis Emblem was on it's shoulder, and particles of Darkness were emanating from it's body. Invisa summoned her Keyblade, and began to fight the Necrosis Phantom. Thunder and Jake looked at Invisa sternly as she spoke about the Necrosis Phantom.

"...What became of it in the end? did you kill it? or..." said Pais, sternly concerned about the fate of this particular Necrosis, as he starts tightening his grip on his right leg, concerned about Invi his beloved's safety right now, as back at the supercomputer, everyone still remain silent until just suddenly, Lea appeared from out of nowhere behind Riku, placing his arm around the latter with Lea merely saying "Yo!" to everyone, Lea's appearance has drastically changed, his spiky hair had changed and was now tied up in a ponytail, he was wearing a fancy suit and above all else, he was wearing glasses that suited him, Lea proceeded to say to everyone "Why so bum everyone? come on, we're friends now, right? especially you guys..." said Lea, pointing fingers towards both Aeleus and Ienzo, knowing of their past relationship to Riku, however, Riku replies "Its not that Axel, we're just comparing the notes that we have so far and it seems we've come up with something." said Riku, surprising Lea with Even replying "Exactly you simple minded fool, you know not of what we are doing here with MASTER Riku so just run along, like a good little ferret and be the "top" reporter of the World news like you are..." said Even with haughtiness, as it turns out Lea's new appearance wasn't just for show, he was one of the new reporters to join the new organization called World news, that sells news to each of the other Worlds about the news going on in said other Worlds to one another, using Scrooge's transit system, as Lea took off a fancy fedora he was wearing upon his head and placed it within his hand, he proceeded to lastly say "Hey Isa, why don't you tell the old snow cone here he's just being a weak idiot like always?" said Lea, causing Even to react in comical anger "W-W-W-Weak idiot you said!?!?!?!? ohhh...that's it! now your going to get it Axel!!!!" said Even, summoning one of Vexen's old shields, preparing to attack Lea, until suddenly...

Meanwhile, Mrithun appeared walking home from school. He was still pretty new to the world, even if he had been there for a while now. But he knew his way around town pretty well. When he arrived in this world, he didn't have a penny to his name, but he made due with what he could find. Then one day, he met a fellow who helped Mrithun get on his feet by becoming the assistant for the fellow. This allowed him to earn a living, and to be able to afford things like school. This person was none other than Luke himself. Luke needed an assistant to help him write his book and make it sound good, and Mrithun needed a chance in life, so Luke decided to give Mrithun a chance and this turned out best for the both of them. So great, that even after Luke made a fortune off the book, Luke still let Mrithun work with him, and that's how Mrithun was able to survive and make a living.

 

Mrithun was on his way home, a home that was all his, it was a one story house, but it was all he really need to get by. However, he suddenly passed by Sora and Kuze, although Mrithun didn't seem to notice them, even if he walked right by them...

Invisa bowed her head, and let out a sigh. She clenched a fist, as she thought about the Necrosis Phantom. In the flashback, at some point, the Necrosis Phantom looked battered, and part of it's torn off, and it's face filled with gashes, and Invisa had gotten multiple bruises and cuts all over her body, but she held on, and as she jumped at the Necrosis Phantom, it let out a shriek, and dissipated into particles of Darkness. "I had it on the rope, but ... It escaped, and I haven't seen it since, and I had been tracking it down, but there was no sign of it. I suspect that we may run into it again one day." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. Thunder and Jake looked at each other with stern looks on their faces.

"..." Pais didn't know what to say to his wife, as suddenly elsewhere, a pair of beaming glowing red eyes were stalking both Sora and Kuze from within a shadowy hall-pass and had proceeded to look upon the new person passing by, it appeared this thing or person or whatever it was that was silently chasing after Sora and Kuze had become interested by the new passer-by.

Mrithun didn't seem to notice he was being watched, as it turns out he had earbuds in his ears listening to music, so all he was focus on was getting home and didn't really listen to the world around him. He kept walking, even past Sora and Kuze, obvious to what was watching him.

 

Meanwhile, Luke looked at Lucy, "Whenever you are ready to leave, my love." Luke said with a smile as he still held the corridor open waiting for Lucy to go first so she could pick where the two of them ended up at.

 

Kelly looked at Horizont and their baby and waited to hear what he had to say, it feels like a good solid minute has passed since waiting for an answer.

Invisa looked at Pais, and put a hand on his shoulder. "I can tell you're worried about me, dear. I have yet to see it again, and when it shows up again, I'll be ready for it. As for what happened next, I had taken the statues of Thunder and Jake back to the Kingdom Network's base, which is at Odin Village, my home World, where I brought them back to life." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. In the flashback, in a room in the Kingdom Network, Invisa and a young man approached the statues of Thunder and Jake, and the young man handed Invisa what appeared to be a grey-colored Materia with a Heart-like symbol on it. Invisa raised the Materia into the air, and emitted a Light, and it flew out of Invisa's hand, and it floated over the statues of Thunder and Jake, and began to flow Light from itself onto them, and a flash of Light blinded Invisa and her assistant. As the room returned to normal, the Materia was gone, and Thunder and Jake were on the floor, passed out. Thunder was the first to awaken, and looked around in shock and confusion, and looked at his arms, which had returned to him, and Jake had started looking around, and Invisa clapped her hands to get their attention. "I revived them using a Materia I had created, and it gave Thunder new arms, after they were sliced off by Kye. After I explained everything to them, I recruited them. I sent them on missions to prove their worth, an they did well, other than slacking off at several points... There was a mission a year later where something went wrong for us... That was the first time I made a terrible mistake..." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. Lucy nodded at Luke. "Let's head to Twilight Town, we could see how the others are doing, and see the sights." Said Lucy, talking to Luke.

Luke smiled, "Twilight Town sounds like a nice visit. It's kind of peaceful there and plus the sights are amazing. Good idea, Lucy." Luke said as he set the corridor for Twilight Town and walked through, keeping the portal stay open so Lucy can follow. It was true that's Twilight Town was more peaceful now than it was years ago, and plus seeing the old gang there and remembering all the adventures was nice to. Plus, Luke and Lucy could always get the best Sea Salt Ice Cream there, while sitting at the Clock Tower, which was peaceful for Luke.

"...Hmm? what's the matter Kelly? is it about the Pais being a godfather thing?" said Horizont, holding his daughter Serenity in his hands, as he wondered what was going on in his wife Kelly's head, meanwhile, at Twilight Town, the annual Struggle tournament was coming up and the record breaker and current time champion that he has been for the last two years is Roxas, having won two consecutive wins in Struggle after the X-Blade War had ended and living with his beloved Xion at the old mansion of Twilight Town, now redecorated as a hotel for people to come, stay and visit whenever they like, the staff consists of Roxas, the head, Xion, the 2nd in command, Hayner, the sports relief in charge, Pence, the video games relief in charge, Olette, the relaxation relief in charge and Setzer, the chef, everyone was working together to know what it feels like to be human, especially both Roxas and Xion in their cases and see the happiness on peoples' faces, as they enjoyed themselves at the building that was now called Hotel Twi.

"..." Pais was now more concerned about this Necrosis involved in his wife's story more then ever, especially concerned about Invi herself, as he continued to listen to the story, at Twilight Town, greeting Xylek was the surprise appearance of Braig of all people, evilly smirking towards Xylek...

Let out a cough "Could you two not?" The boy dress was the same say for the lab coat he had put on once he entered the castle arriving at the scene in front of him. "If you are going to at least take it outside away from anything important." He said letting out a sigh blinking at the new person in the room, raising a brow at him for a moment "What have I missed? I was busy with something and just now got here." More like he was napping but those were just minor details. His eyes didn't avert to the newcomer among them he was unaware of who he was but imagined he was here for something.



 

"...Hello there, nice to meet you, my name's Riku and you are?" said Riku, shocked a little by the appearance of this newcomer that appeared on the scene, as Ienzo replied "Oh, that's Kirito, the slacker, tell me something, have you been off gallivanting around the Garden again?" said Ienzo, holding up a book, keeping track of Kirito's appearances, disappearances and reappearances.

Invisa could see worry in Pais' eyes, and she took his hand, and held it. "You're worried about me, aren't you?" Asked Invisa, asking Pais a question. Thunder and Jake looked down in regret for causing this situation, Invisa let out a sigh as she looked at Pais. "As for the terrible mistake, it was at Apacolo City, underground... We were investigating mysterious incidents happening there... Thunder and Jake were with me at the time... I found some sort of lab, under the city... Beneath the skyscraper..." Said Invisa, talking to Pais. Xylek looked at Braig, and glared at him, as he summoned his Keyblade. "Braig? What are you doing here? I thought we sent you packing?" Asked Xylek, asking Braig a question. 

"Woah, woah, easy there kiddo, i'm not here to boast, or threaten, or anything, TRUUUUUST me, i'm one of the "goodies" now, plus..." suddenly, appearing on the scene behind Braig was a young blonde haired woman in a wheelchair, looking up towards Xylek, smiling, finally Pais says to Invi "...Stop, you guys don't have to go on if you don't want to, if it causes you pain..." said Pais, unsure of how to make the others feel good about themselves, especially Invi, desperately trying to find a way to cheer everyone up.

"I'm-" Right before he could respond Ienzo had done the pleasures of introducing him. "Leon Isn't here believe he left to Twilight Town? So I decided to patrol town for him, ended up resting in the garden for awhile." He replied as if he used to reporting his whereabouts, he offered his fingerless gloved hand to Riku "A pleasure as our local bookworm here said I'm Kirito."

"...If you haven't seen Leon, that means you didn't pass the central plaza, or at the very least, didn't even bother to see him train with that little brat who looks like him a little." said Aeleus, talking about Leon being in Radiant Garden and referencing his ongoing training with Seifer in the plaza for all to see, meanwhile, Braig bent down behind the young blond haired woman and revealed to Xylek both very shockingly and very surprisingly "...This is my younger twin sister, Anya." said Braig, of all things.

Kelly looked at her husband, "Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking about what my family is up to. It's been a while since we've heard from Harry, I wonder if he is alright? He didn't get his happy ending like we did after all. Anyways, yeah Pais as a godfather is a good idea to put another person in Serenity's life that will keep an eye on her." Kelly said with a smile. "So when do you want to tell Pais about this?" Kelly asked with a smile.

 

Mrithun continued to walk home, unaware he was being watched. He did enjoy the world at times, but other times he just need time for himself, and so he always had his music and his focus on what he was doing to give himself a break from the world. However, with something watching him, this time he should have been more aware of his surroundings....

"I think i'll tell him once Mare's son is born, also, about Harry...yeah, i'm worried about him too, i mean, he's on his own, isn't he? we should find out where he is and what he's doing." said Horizont, concerned for his friend Harry, as he placed Serenity backed into her mother's hands, meanwhile, the mysterious stalker was about to reveal himself to Mrithun all of a sudden, who could he possibly be!?!?
