Hey everyone I'm new here, so sorry if this is a repeated thread, but I don't think it is.

Anyway, my question is why does Mickey have a star seeker in coded? I know in bbs he borrowed it from Yen Sid but in the other games he had the kingdom key D. So where'd he get the star seeker that he has in coded?

Featured Replies

ya no i never real noticed that so ya make a good point

yeah I never really got why he had the star seeker

i think this is a repeated thread but i think people say he lend it to sora but then after kh2 he got it back or the star seeker was just a practice keyblade for mickey in bbs

Not sure if its actully a spoiler but if you actully see the end of the credits in BBS then you will see he goes to give it back to Yen Sid and then Yen Sid just hands it back to Mickey,

Well a lot of people say that Sora and Mickey's star seekers are different but it could be something like that

Yeah, I've seen that but then Mickey has his kingdom key in later games and then he randomly has star seeker again in coded.

Well I suppose seeing as coded sort of goes back to the past, it would make sense for him to use the Keyblade he had at the time, which was Star Seeker.

Because they are. Mickey's Star Seeker was borrowed from Yen Sid. Sora's Star Seeker was Ven's Keyblade, taking the form of Star Seeker due to a keychain that Sora obtained after meeting Yen Sid.

Could be the same case as other Keyblade wielders. After all, it's not like they get a new Keyblade in every world. You can say the bonds they creates with their friends takes a physical form as keychains, and once attached to the Keyblade, allow it to take on a different appearance.

How does Sora and Riku change their Keyblades then? Food 4 thought

Everything about Keyblades is a mistery but im theorizing something here (correct me if im wrong):

As you know in the games you can change the appearances of your keyblade using what,... KEYCHAINS! You can also see that riku can shape his keyblade into destinys embrace (Destiny Place), but how did he do it?? Ohh and not to forget the subject about the star seeker (keep that one fresh 'kay!)

My point is keychains, as some of you know, are made from memories, and by changing the memory that you are holding in your heart you can change the keychain therefore changing the keyblades shape. Mickeys Star Seeker was just the format of his inicial keyblade, but like the kingdom key you could reshape it. The fact that he appears with the star seeker then kingdom key D and then star seeker again just means he now holds in his heart the time he passed as an apprentice with yen sid and ven terra and aqua (the latter in his journeys). Now to get the kingdom key D we all know he went to the realm of darkness and there he must have triggered something that gave the memory to be able to reshape his keyblade into the kingdom key D (actually i believe he met aqua and found the strenght to lock the DTD with himself inside)

Thank you for listening, and sorry if this is a huge post (i like talking but not compared to how much i love kh) then you can delete it or hide it or something.

Thank you for all your theories everyone. I'm just gonna figure that the star seeker he had in coded was just kingdom key D with a different keychain. Who knows, maybe he had star seeker from the start and kingdom key D was actually just a keychain from the realm of darkness.

And about Riku's destiny embrace, isn't that supossed to be MX's keyblade?

Well for the Mickey thing, I think it's that Mickey once again borrowed Yen Sid's Star Seeker. As for the Riku thing, Destiny Embrace was once Aqua's keyblade.

Yeah, but Aqua's keyblade is in the chamber of sleep in Radiant Garden. And like Reversal pointed out about Sora and Mickey's star seekers, just because they have the same keychain, it doesn't make them the same keyblades.

Mickey probably needed the kingdomkey d for the events of kh1 through kh2. I think the game explains why he got it. Now that the worlds aren't at danger, he doesn't need it.

I think ur right and I think that is the true answer about this thread

Yup. Well, Apprentice Xehanort's anyways. People normally don't believe this because, well, just look at it xD

Yeah, that makes sense. I was just kinda confused cause it seemed like he has two keyblades, but the whole keychain thing clears it up a lot.

Yeah, it's kinda weird when you think about it, but it wouldn't look any less weird if Kairi had used it the way it normally looks xD

Let's see...

He had the star seeker before kh1, but then he had the darkside. It's possible that like sora, he can have multiple keyblades. He just put the star seeker away for a while, that's all, hehe

Here's the thing: Sora and Riku have two Keyblades because

they both harbor another wielder's heart within them, Ven for Sora, and Apprentice Xehanort/Terra for Riku.

Mickey however, only has his own. It's more likely that he has a keychain for Star Seeker than another Keyblade altogether.

Yeah, I'm going to stick with this theory about the keychains. I also agree with your theory about Sora and Riku's second keyblade's.

Anyway, thank you everyone who posted theories, it helped clear up a lot of questions I had. :D

Oh okay. But Sora's second Keyblade isn't a theory. It's proven, confirmed. Riku's is also confirmed, but the bit about Terra is still up in the air due to Nomura's really vague and secretive answers in the interview.

Oh, I didn't know those things were official. But thanks for telling me, I was never too sure about that stuff.

Hmm, well what I was referring to was like in KH1 where you can have all those keychains/keyblades. It's possible that Mickey just has a bunch of keyblades in his possession, y'know

Well a lot of people say that Sora and Mickey's star seekers are different but it could be something like that

But Ven had his keyblade when he and Aqua left Mysterious Tower.

So why would it be there?

Keychains. There's your answer. Sora's second Keyblade in it's true original form would be Wayward Wind, due to him harboring Ven's heart which gives him access to his Keyblade now that Roxas had awakened it and merged back with Sora, but through keychain transformation, it took on a different appearance.

What I mean is, doesn't Ven have his keyblade in that chamber in Castle Oblivion? In the Final Story, Vens body summons the keyblade to open a portal for Aqua.
