I know it's way too recent for them to say the actual release date for kh3 because they officially announced the release year for the game, but I think it's possible that we will get to know the actual release date of kh3 before 2018, but first, let me use an example of a game that released this year:

 

kingdom hearts 0.2's release date was announced 6 months before the game came out. (June 2016-January2017)

 

I know this isn't much of an example, but this can at least show us how far back a video game can announce it's release date. 

 

This obviously isn't concrete because as far as we know, we might get the release date of the game a week before it comes out

 

If we get a release date for the game in december, it could mean that that the game could come out in June 2018 at the earliest and that is if the game is nearly done by then

I'm fine it's coming out next year. The month doesn't matter to me actually, in my opinion they should anounce the release date when they are sure it will come out on that date intead of making several delays...I'm betting on october-beginning of december though...
By the way, on Andy's board there is a date in August hidden on the low part. I know it might mean nothing at all like the calendar in the other trailer, but who knows what is going on on Nomura's head?...

Since I don't think the game is coming out in the first half of next year, E3 is probably where we're gonna see at least a release month

maybe they'll string us along. next release date announcement will include the year and the month. 

 

i think we'll probably hear more about the actual date early next year, and if not then, maybe E3? 

I would say maybe at an event closer to 2018, but who am I kidding? They'll probably show it at E3 2018.

At earliest we may get something at Jump Fiesta this year...and that's a stretch. Reasonably speaking I would say E3 2018.
