You guys know how in KH3, the Gummi Ship is set to be "evolved"? Well, MY idea is that you explore the world map in way similarly to Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, and the actual routes are played with Sora in Keyblade Armor, including boss routes. What do you guys think about this idea?

i wouldn't be against a map style like R&C:CiT. idk if having the actual routes feature Sora in Keyblade armor would work though because it seems like you'd have less moves at your disposal as opposed to the Gummi Ship. 

 

a larger map that can be explored like CiT would be fine and if the missions are just more like the KH2 gummi routes then i'd be completely OK with that. 

Considering how the Gummi Ship gameplay has evolved from I to II, I'm certain III will probably end up being a more amped up version of KHII's Gummi Ship gameplay, with many more elements added in for good measure! Remember, with the new hardware and working with Unreal Engine, there's bound to be many new possibilities concerning Gummi Ship missions and gameplay overall!

I just hope they make gummi ship missions enjoyable, because I've never been a big fan of them. Don't get me wrong, KH2's gummi missions were much better than KH1's gummi missions. A lot of people have mentioned Rather & Clank as a reference and I believe Cynical also touched upon the subject in his recent video. I personally like the Rather & Clank idea. Those missions always look fun and immerse you in a vast universe. I want KH3's gummi missions to somewhat resemble that.
